The youth’s whole body trembled intensely; his face paled even more.
"W, What is this?" A primal fear overwheld him, and he coughed and held his neck as if soone was choking him.
He let go of Rise’s hair, and his body stumbled on the floor, still unconscious and bleeding profusely. The youth could not bother with Rise at this point.
The youth almost kneeled, but he resisted this instinct. Right, the instincts of a noble to kneel before a higher rank than themselves.
Doing so, the suffocating feeling intensified.
"D-amn it." His eyes glared at a distance, wanting to tear this unwelco visitor. Even if it was a higher-ranking noble than he was, he still disdained them all.
For him, he was far superior to them, soone who could serve a greater existence.
However, deep inside, he was scared.
He wanted to escape, but under the restriction imposed upon him, he could not.
The youth cursed once more. What shit luck.
His gaze landed on the unconscious silver-haired human, and his blood boiled with hatred.
These rebels... dared to challenge the great one.
The youth stood up shakingly, ignored the pain he was feeling, and looked at Ayen with malice. He should kill him now, so whoever that noble was would not be able to interfere.
Why he thought that the noble was on this rebel’s side, he did not know. He just knew that it was not on his side, as the great one had not issued a decree for soone to accompany him.
Spitting out the blood accumulated in his mouth, the youth bent forward to grip Rise’s hair again. His eyes glowed with malice, and as he was about to kill Rise for good, his body flung backwards.
The youth barely reacted; his body was thrown deeper against the wall.
What was that?
He had only thought about it when his body was suddenly grabbed by the neck. The youth opened his eyes, blood trailing down his face. He blinked and beca confused.
Huh? This guy... was dead. He knew for sure this man was dead. Even if he was not, then how co he appeared stronger than the first ti he saw him?
"Y-You—ughkk—" The youth’s eyes rolled; he held the arm that was pressing on his neck to make the man let go.
Although he was a youth in appearance, he was of a strength type noble, and no human mortal could be able to withstand his grip. What he did with the humans earlier was rely a power bestowed by the great one and not his own ability as a noble.
Then, the youth’s eyes widened, and he finally showed a shocked and frightened expression.
Looking at the man’s cold gaze, the youth trembled, and tears stread down his cheeks. He could not remove his hand from his neck at all.
What the hell was he? Who...
Suddenly, the youth looked at the man in horror.
Noble!
He had not noticed it since he was more focused on the pain, and now that the grip on his neck had loosened sowhat, the youth had realized that the man before him was a noble!
He could not see through him. The man was definitely a Duke! Suddenly? How co? The youth’s mind spun chaotically.
This man was human; he was certain of it. How did he beco a noble? But he was forced again to snap out of his thoughts as the man gripped his neck harder once more.
"I want to kill you," the man’s cold voice sounded, his crimson pupils making him more terrifying than he already was. "But, that’ll wait."
The youth could not even respond to him, and his neck snapped; he directly lost consciousness.
Looking at the pathetic noble in front of him, Kamille hardly cared if he died, but he would not let him die so easily. Fire spread to the body until it disappeared.
Unlike others, the body was sent to that bloody domain. Kamille had a lot to ask him, and more so... Just killing him would not satisfy the anger inside him.
Kamille could not think of that further, and his mind only thought of soone.
Rise...
He disappeared from his position and appeared where Rise was.
Kamille’s hands clenched beside him, his hands trembling. He suppressed the guilt that was rising from within him. That was not important right now.
He picked up Rise carefully and hugged him, closing his eyes firmly. Kamille exhaled and kissed Rise’s hair.
Kamille opened his eyes, and his crimson pupils remained, but the coldness they emitted had lessened significantly. Sighing with relief that Rise’s breathing could be felt, he flew towards the hole they themselves created.
And wherever he passed by, fire strengthened by the wind began to swallow the whole place. He would not let those humans off the hook either.
They dared to conspire with a noble. Kamille was never reasonable, and as a noble, this had beco more apparent. They would kill them all for harming his beloved.
When Kamille flew out of the institution, there were already a lot of people watching the fire spread to the whole place. Although so had evacuated after the earthquake Rise created, there were still a lot who stayed.

Kamille could not care less about them, and he was about to fly forward to Zenos’ city, but so annoying flies began to annoy him.
"You can’t just leave." A battalion of guards riding flying monsters blocked his path.
Kamille’s hold on Rise tightened.
"We need to arrest you, outsider."
Kamille sighed; his head throbbed, and it annoyed him that these humans could just block him like that. He looked at Rise, and his expression hardened.
"Die," Kamille spoke calmly, but the word was terrifying.
"W-What?" The leader asked back, bewildered but also anxious. Sohow, the man in front of him emitted an ominous aura.
Kamille looked at him as one would look at insignificant pests on the floor.
He did not even answer, and soon screams dominated the group. It started with the leader; fire appeared and quickly swallowed him and his bird.
The rest went still at first, frightened at what they witnessed. So began to back off, but soon their terrified screams echoed in the city.
The battalion was quickly engulfed by the black fire; none remained. And not only that, but the chaos also erupted on the ground. So fire that fell from above began to spread and engulfed the onlookers like an epidemic from hell.
"Save ee!"
"Aahhhh! I don’t want to die!"
"Water! Please!"
Unfortunately for them, the fire could not be easily put out by ordinary water.
Kamille began to fly forward, seemingly oblivious to the hell he left behind. He was only looking at the distance, holding Rise in his arms.
