"What do you think?" Rise turned to Kamille after the others were dismissed. Throughout the eting, he was the only one speaking, and Kamille rely sat beside him.
However, that did not an his presence could be overlooked. More than half of the tension that the others felt ca from Kamille, who was rely sitting without saying a word.
Rise also felt all the more confident with Kamille sitting by his side.
"A large-scale war won’t happen." Kamille was certain of this.
At least on their part. On this, they, the outsiders, seed to have the disadvantage, but they actually held the most crucial card.
They could retreat to their world, but the natives did not have the sa option. They were more flexible; the natives knew it too. It was the reason they had not attacked outsiders en masse, despite the central city being destroyed.
The grudge was there, and it would certainly explode. The question was who would pull the trigger.
Once again, the two sides returned to a stalemate.
"But we can make it happen." Rise paused and stared at Kamille’s eyes. The other did not flinch at the words and calmly t his gaze.
Rise and let his thoughts wander. He was actually weighing the pros and cons of doing this. While he had plans to destroy the plot, which would inevitably affect everyone’s lives. Rise did not want to recklessly rampage everywhere either.
Unless he had no choice, his rationality was still intact. Strictly speaking, it was not just him or Kamille; everyone in this world was a victim. Except those bastards in cahoots with the author, like the bitch Epsilon.
Rise could feel it in his soul; Epsilon was the biggest card the author had. He was the protagonist, after all.
In this world, no one had a future. If they did not take down the author or do sothing to change the trajectory of this world, the resets would continue endlessly.
"You have other plans," Kamille said, not as a question, but as a statent. Just by observing Rise, he guessed most of his thoughts.
Rise paused his thoughts, squinting his eyes at Kamille. He did not imdiately answer him; he slowly reached out and interlocked their fingers.
"Do the nobles know of your existence?"Rise," asked in a low tone.
Kamille swallowed. He glanced at their interlocked fingers before shifting once more with Rise’s eyes; curiosity flickered in his eyes.
He found it more endearing when Rise was in his elent.
"They don’t," Kamille answered with certainty.
Unless Kamille made it known, no one would be able to sense him. With the awakening of his noble blood, so inherited knowledge ca along with it.
Kamille’s status in the noble race was a Grand Duke, one of the highest positions among the nobles. They could mask their existence even before the queen or king.
Rise’s lips curled up, an idea brewing in his mind. Kamille did not ask about his plan, only waiting in anticipation.
Rise did not make him wait either.
"What if, you take over this world as a noble?"
It sounded silly and borderline crazy. It was like how a kid aspired to take over a fantasy world. Only if these words did not co from Rise, who was crazy enough to do it.
And the one listening to him was not Kamille, who was more than insane enough to follow Rise even to the depths of hell.
Rise laughed, as though finding it funny himself. Of course, his expression showed delight at the idea.
"I an, it’ll be a waste to abandon this world."
It’s a prominent gate that was highly ntioned in the book. It should have so importance, and Zenos, the second lead, was here. Moreover, the book even intervened and made a pact with Zenos’ clan.
Rise had yet to discover what was special in this world. So, he had to control it even more. He never wanted Epsilon and that author to get away with all the good things in the world.
He would snatch everything from them before they could react. Once sothing was in his possession, they would need to kill him first before they could retrieve it from him.
"But," Rise paused, looking at Kamille and seeking his opinion. "This plan will only proceed if I make sure nothing bad will happen to you."
Rise tightly hold Kamille’s hand.
"Is this plan, possible?"
Nobles had certain abilities to control a world after they completely invaded it. Rise did not know the specifics. Kamille should be more familiar with this.
In fact, this plan only surfaced a few minutes ago. It was sudden and, more so, an impulsive approach. If he did not know that Kamille was a noble, then Rise would not even imagine them having a discussion about it.
All of this would only proceed with Kamille’s call, whether it was possible.
Truthfully, Kamille also found it very unexpected. Rise’s suggestion surprised him, but thinking about it, it was actually possible.
Kamille did not know the current situation beyond the gate, but through inheritance, he realized that Rise’s plan was not that ridiculous.
They could make it happen.
Kamille nodded. "It’s definitely possible. Let’s do it." He readily agreed.
Even if it was not, Kamille would make it happen for Rise.
Hearing his positive response, Rise almost jumped up from his seat. He was so excited for so reason. Maybe because this idea was very novel and he never planned it or had the idea co across his mind before.
Rise had no clue about the outco; everything was completely blank. Yet, that particular part made it more interesting for him.
He was not afraid to take risks. Kamille and he needed more cards, whatever the chances of victory in their possession at this mont.
Kamille’s lips curled slightly. He liked seeing Rise this way. Just seeing Rise’s excitent made it all the more worth it.
To see his smile, Kamille could literally give everything to Rise, even the world.
This world was a start.
Rise was always decisive once both sides agreed on the plan, and he would surely put it into motion.
How to take over this world, even as a noble, would not be easy.
Yet Rise was confident... Kamille was by his side, after all.
