"Wh-Who are you?"
The batch leader managed to ask amidst the panic and confusion.
Rise smiled at him. The man was comndable enough and could calmly ask a question despite his whole body trembling.
His gaze swept to the surroundings, the commotion he caused had spread, and everyone’s attention had shifted from the chaos at the building to his descent.
Rise did not answer the question; he had no intention to publicize his na at all. And there was no need for them to know him.
"I’m a little busy. All of you sleep here first."
As soon as this voice fell, before everyone could even comprehend what he ant or hear what he said, a pressure no other descended.
Groans and grunts overwheld the huge area around the building. Those who wanted to fight back were even given special treatnt and increased the pressure on them.
This was a surprise attack, and the rest simply had no ti to react before they entered the influence of Rise’s massive force field. This was what made his ability tricky.
It was easier to avoid if one was ready, but if soone was not even aware of this ability, how could they prepare themselves?
Rise rely took advantage of this loophole and the surprise effect of his descent. He had no ti to play with them. The air was also restricted inside, and most of them suffocated and directly fainted.
One by one, they began to collapse on the ground. Rise also did not wait for others to adapt to the gravity. After all, the larger the area, the lower the effect. It was inevitable that so of them were of high-strength type and could withstand such pressure after a while.
Rise’s ability was too good to even be compared to an S-rank, but he was still A-rank at the end of the day. His mana was limited, despite him not truly needing to be frugal after his body simply recovered faster than others.
"Don’t be stubborn. Just sleep." Rise’s body flashed, and he struck the neck of the man trying to withstand the pressure.
He did it countless tis until everyone outside of the building was unconscious. Rise did not kill anyone. As he said, it would be a waste to kill his future subordinates.
In fact, he was even quite lenient to them despite so coughing up blood and needing a few months to recover. They could only attribute it to their bad luck, as their bodies were weaker than those of others.
Rise stretched his body and started walking towards the building. He glanced at the sky and took a deep breath.
His heart filled with anticipation. Rise was thrilled by the idea of taking over the world, sothing straight from fantasy.
He was excited to see what this world would beco after Kamille finished refining it. Would there be a difference?
Rise’s figure arrived right at the entrance, and most of the Three Nations forces that were waiting there glanced at him in surprise. They were confused as he was not wearing the uniform.
"Hey, from what unit are you?"
Rise shrugged and smiled.
The man asking frowned. "Stop! We need to—"
Rise was already at his side and patted him on the shoulder, it was too heavy that his face quickly contorted.
"Sleep." Or so he said.
The man scread and fainted. The others quickly put on guard. Rise was too preoccupied and had no ti to play with them.
He was pressing for ti. Just like the people outside, most Three Nations forces inside were put to sleep, but they actually fainted from the pain.
Their bodies fell on the floor, creating an unusual rhythm every ti Rise passed by. Rise did not look back or check if he had missed anyone.
They were not truly important in the overall plan. It was just that they would be too annoying. Rise prefers that he deal only with the higher-ups.
Before he stepped forward and entered the room where the eting was held, the world suddenly shook. The trembling of the earth, followed by the wind becoming chaotic.
Rise was fine; his ability stabilized his footing.
It started.
The darkness and the agony of the world had started.
Every native of the world, including everyone fighting inside, could not help but look up at the sky. Their hearts thumped uncomfortably inside their chests.
The majority of the citizens, wherever they were, felt the pain from the bottom of their hearts and could not help but shed tears.
Including teh people who had fainted, the corners of their eyes streaming with tears. It was as though in their subconscious they were feeling the pain and cry for help of their world.
"What is it?" Zarilan beca alard, and he almost failed to dodge the incoming attack against him. However, the one attacking him also stopped in his tracks and beca uneasy.
It took only a minute before everyone in the room realized what it was. Compared to normal citizens, they were those who were privy to more confidential information.
Their eyes widened, and alarm spread to everyone.
The world’s origin! The most fundantal aspect of their world was being disturbed. There was only one suspect. A noble! A noble was trying to refine their world.
Everyone’s thoughts were imdiately shifted, and they quickly decided to stop the fighting and intercept whoever dared to refine the world origin.
Both sides were confused. The Three Nations side thought that there were no nobles anymore and that this was not part of their condition.
As for the clan leaders, they were also confused. This was not part of their plan. At least, from what they’ve been told. Zarilan gripped his cane, and his breathing slowed down.
Despite his thoughts, everyone’s desire to fight each other had lessened, and they now focused on the phenonon.
Of course, how could Rise let them end the fight like that? This was the plan all along.
"What are you doing?" A voice distracted the crowd and instantly drew their attention in the direction from which it ca.
Standing there was a handso man with silver hair, grinning playfully at them.
"You’re fighting. So why stop?"
