Rise nodded. He was bored out of his mind, but also... There were more important things for him to do.

So glanced at him when he walked towards the exit. The union staff and security clearly did not know whether to stop him, but one instruction from their earpiece made them stop and let Rise leave.

He leaned down and captured Rise’s lips, pouring his frustration of not being able to hold him for those few minutes when they returned.

Their lips parted exactly as the elevator stopped at the floor Rise pressed earlier.
