Mitchel’s expression changed. Was it soone using an ability from a distance so he could not sense her? His pupils flickered. Mitchel’s mood was already low to begin with, and now soone was clearly using his feelings for Rise to scam him.

He was also an S-rank esper, and what the other party was doing was a blatant disrespect.

Who are you?" he asked in a low tone.

Mitchel’s jaw tightened again, and the mana around him beca dangerous. "Stop bullshitting!" His temple throbbed as his emotions beca unstable.

[Rise’s not safe with him. You have to save him.]

This ti, Mitchel paused and frowned. He knew it was not a good idea to converse with the unknown voice, but as Rise was involved, he could not just ignore it either.

[That man, Kamille, he’s going to be your world’s biggest calamity.]

"Calamity?"

[You don’t need to trust . If you want Rise to die... then you can continue to let him be with that man.]

Mitchel’s emotion had been triggered again, and unbeknownst to him, unknown particles in the air continued to rge with him as he conversed with the voice.

His emotions were becoming heated; as a result, his eyes flickered into a golden hue.

He still did not trust the voice, but he asked.

"What should I do?"

The voice paused.

[Let the new S-class Esper join your Guild. Rember, you must declare his addition tomorrow.]

"What do you an? The new S-class esper?"

Mitchel knew about the new S-class esper and was also preparing a recruitnt proposal for him, but he was confused as to why that person was suddenly ntioned in this conversation.

A few seconds until a minute had passed, and the voice did not reply again.

"Dammit, she left without explaining." Mitchel rubbed his face and paused. He thought for a mont. He was not trusting that voice at all.

He took a deep breath and looked around again. Mitchel could not sense her at all. The new S-rank... Could it be he was involved in this?

There was only one way to find it out.

Whatever was going on with Mitchel, Kamille, and Rise had no way of knowing at this point, nor did they care. Once they entered Kamille’s room, the two aggressively kissed each other.

It was both a relief and a desire for each other. Finally, Rise would not need to be constantly anxious, and Kamilel had proved himself.

Rise did not really need him to prove anything, but deep down, he knew that he wanted this. In Kamille’s opinion, rather than Rise wanting this, he needed it more.

"You really did not feel anything?" Rise asked as soon as their lips parted.

Both his legs were wrapped around Kamille as the other carried him, holding him tight. His arm strength was fully displayed at this mont.

Kamille’s crimson pupils only reflected one person and no one else. "I felt extre disgust," he answered honestly.

He truly felt sothing, and that was not admiration as Rise was hoping for.

Rise let out a laugh, completely satisfied by the answer. "You’re just not humoring , are you?"

Kamille leaned in and claid his lips. "Do I need to?"

Rise’s eyes crinkled again and yelped as Kamilel suddenly pinched his buttocks. "Naughty, huh?"

Kamille did not answer and bit his lips. He walked further inside, not letting go of Rise. Their lips clashed, tongues intertwining with each other for a good few minutes.

They did not care about anything at the mont other than each other. It was such a huge relief that what he was dreading had co to pass.

Although the ultimate author card had arrived, Rise was more at ease that Kamilel remained at his side.

Their breathing soon echoed as they settled, embracing each other tightly.

"In the past, Epsilon entered Dark Crimson, but do you think he will do the sa?"

Despite not wanting to talk about Epsilon, they had no choice but to do so. After all, this was his destiny. How much he hated that word!

"He won’t. They will make changes. You said he arrived early... their side will do so adjustnts too."

Even if Epsilon tried to do what the plot said and enter Kamille’s guild, they would have to ask him first if he was willing. Without his permission, how could he enter his guild?

Rise agreed with him. This was a ti when the author had to compromise and would use other ans to end this reset. He had that hunch when he learned that the author even tried to kill Kamille.

"It might as well. That plot isn’t even good anyway."

Kamille rely smiled. He inhaled Rise’s scent as the other leaned on him, chin propped on his shoulder.

"In a couple of days, you’re coming back to the guild." Rise pursed his lips and embraced the other tightly, as though unable to let go.

No matter what, acting spoiled in front of Kamille would never leave his system. It was part of his personality at this point.

Rise pursed his lips. He also wanted to but that... His bookmark could only work without him appearing where his past identity was dominant.

He was supposed to join Dark Crimson, which shaped most of his character in the book, and so going there was absolutely out of the question.

Now that Espsilon had arrived, they could not let the author exploit the loophole they created. He could only stay in the Union for now.

Not hearing an answer from him, Kamille had already expected it, so he was not that disappointed.

"Make sure you return as soon as possible."

Kamille nodded, kissing Rise’s temple. "I’ll only settle sothing and will return imdiately."

This was a crucial point of their fight. He had the hunch that things would escalate soon. He needed to be with Rise to support him.
