"Asuna..."

Asagiri gently kissed Yuuki Asuna's fair neck. Under his kisses, Yuuki Asuna's breathing beca rapid, and even her fair hands around his neck tightened further, as if she wanted to lt him into her body.

Their bodies fell back onto the bed. Yuuki Asuna pulled the covers over Asagiri and herself.

But when she felt Asagiri's hand reaching towards her chest, she gently grabbed Asagiri's wrist and said in a voice as soft as a mosquito's buzz, with a red face.

"Wait, let unhook the back first. Otherwise, you're so rough, you'll break the lingerie..."

Before Yuuki Asuna could finish speaking, there was a light sound.

"Click."

"Huh?"

Yuuki Asuna was stunned for a mont and said hesitantly.

"You... How did you unhook it with one hand... How are you so skilled... Mm..."

Before Yuuki Asuna could ask more questions, her lips were directly sealed by Asagiri. At the sa ti, Asagiri put one hand around her waist, and the other hand reached towards the defenseless area after the lingerie slipped down.

"Mm..."

Yuuki Asuna let out a suppressed soft hum.

She felt her entire body softening under Asagiri's touch and kisses, and there was also a very strange feeling of emptiness.

"Asagiri..."

Yuuki Asuna put her arms around Asagiri's neck, feeling him above her, kissing her ears and neck, and murmured.

"I... want to be with you forever."

Asagiri replied in a rare gentle and serious tone.

" too, I don't want to lose you."

"Mm."

Tears of joy and emotion welled up in Yuuki Asuna's beautiful eyes. She gently kissed Asagiri's cheek and said in a gentle tone.

"I love you."

The next day, lunch break, in a quiet corner of Private Shuchiin Academy.

"Oh my, oh my. This is super rare today." Fujiwara Chika clasped her hands, smiling brightly. "The four of us are finally together."

Her voice was light, almost bouncing, and her expression was as pure and sweet as ever.

Kaguya Shinomiya's eyes, however, were complicated.

She looked at Yuuki Asuna and Utsunomiya Asagiri standing opposite her, and a strange feeling rose in her chest.

It wasn't anger. It wasn't hostility.

It was… resistance, mixed with sothing she couldn't na.

Like a child who had wanted to go outside to play, only to be stopped by rules, and left behind with nothing but frustration and an unsatisfied yearning.

"Could it be…" Kaguya narrowed her eyes slightly, forcing the thought into order. "Do I dislike Asuna Yuuki? That makes no sense. I've barely interacted with her. She's Chika's friend. Why would I…"

It was strange.

Too strange.

Kaguya pressed the feeling down by force, then looked straight at Asagiri.

"Utsunomiya. You asked Chika and here. Have you decided? Are you giving us your answer?"

"Mm. Yes."

This ti, Asagiri didn't smile. His voice was flat, almost businesslike.

"I'll help you secure support among the students. And after you win, I'll serve as your Student Council Vice President."

"Is that so? Good."

Kaguya's expression managent was flawless. Even though her heart lifted sharply at his agreent, her face remained calm and composed.

"Since we've reached a consensus, then let's discuss what you need to do next…"

"You misunderstood."

Asagiri cut her off without hesitation.

"I agreed to cooperate. But the authority to plan the campaign should be mine."

"Hm?"

Kaguya frowned imdiately.

"No. I only wanted your support. Chika and I have already finalized the campaign stages and details. They can't be changed."

"Oh?" Asagiri's mouth curved, faint and cold. "What's the point of a plan that can't win?"

"How do you know we can't win?"

"Because you made that plan without confirming whether I'd join you," Asagiri said, unhurried. "That ans it didn't account for . Or rather, it didn't give a truly important role."

He looked at her directly.

"Without , you and Fujiwara can't win."

Kaguya's eyes sharpened.

"That confident? Utsunomiya, you may have beaten in exams, but when it cos to winning people over and gaining support, no one in Shuchiin Academy is stronger than ."

"Stronger?" Asagiri tilted his head, voice almost amused. "You an the kind of strong where everyone treats you like a curse and avoids you like the plague?"

He gestured casually toward the school around them.

"If this election were for the person everyone is most afraid to approach, you'd win with a hundred percent certainty."

"You…"

Kaguya's cheeks tightened. Her composure held, but the edge in her gaze grew sharper.

Fujiwara Chika panicked and stepped between them, hands waving.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't fight, don't fight. We're allies, right? Sa side, sa side. Let's cooperate, okay? Please, please."

She shot Yuuki Asuna a pleading look.

Asuna sighed softly, helpless, and stepped forward with the calm gentleness she always carried.

"Let's hear Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika's original plan first," she said. "Then we decide together, alright?"

"…Alright."

Asagiri's tone changed instantly. The confrontation vanished as if it had never existed.

He looked at Kaguya. "Go on then. Tell us your original plan."

Kaguya's frown deepened.

That unpleasant feeling in her chest surged again, stronger this ti.

Why?

Was it because of Asuna Yuuki's gentle voice when speaking to Utsunomiya?

Or because Asagiri, who refused to yield even a step to her, softened the mont Asuna spoke?

But… that was normal, wasn't it?

Utsunomiya had said it himself. He and Yuuki Asuna were a couple. Of course his attitude would be different.

So why did it irritate her?

Kaguya didn't understand. She only knew this wasn't like her. She hated the idea of being dragged around by emotions she couldn't control.

"Our plan is like this."

Kaguya raised a hand to her cheek, steadying herself. Fujiwara Chika tilted her head beside her, watching, as if thinking about sothing, but she didn't interrupt.

"Once the official campaign begins next week, we'll have two weeks of free campaigning. During that ti, I'll print flyers with my personal resu. Chika and I will distribute them, and we'll post them in as many places as possible."

Kaguya spoke as if the conclusion was self evident.

"Even though I'm well known at Shuchiin, there are still students who don't know that deeply, so…"

Asagiri's brow twitched. He couldn't help interrupting.

"What are you even saying?"

"Hm?" Kaguya frowned back, genuinely confused. "Is it hard to understand?"

She explained in a completely matter of fact tone.

"As long as students see my resu, they'll know I was consistently top in middle school, and that I won the national archery competition championship. Then they will definitely…"

"Definitely vote for you?" Asagiri stared at her like his brain had short circuited. "What kind of logic is that? Why would your middle school resu earn votes in a Student Council election?"

"Because I'm excellent."

Kaguya lifted her chin slightly and tucked her long black hair behind her ear, as if stating a universal truth.

"Students are people too. People naturally want to follow soone far more excellent than themselves."

Asagiri went silent for a full second.

Then he spoke slowly, like soone trying to reboot his language function.

"…Truly excellent logic. My mind is blank. My ability to form sentences has temporarily collapsed."

He was genuinely stunned.

In the original story, Kaguya Shinomiya's election speech had been eloquent. Not on the level of that five hundred thousand mark bread speech, perhaps, but at least fluent, and at least aid at what students actually wanted.

But that was Kaguya Shinomiya after a year in the Student Council, after growth and experience.

The current Kaguya was different.

Her biggest problem was simple. She unconsciously looked down on people, and she thought in terms of how to use them, not how to connect with them.

And that mindset had produced an election plan that was, frankly, worthless.

"Shinomiya," Asagiri said calmly, "your idea is naive to the point where it becos foolish."

Before Kaguya could snap back, he continued.

"You are excellent. More excellent than most people. Even more excellent than the current Student Council President."

He leaned forward slightly, his gaze steady.

"But what does that have to do with this election? Is the Student Council President automatically the most capable individual student in the school?"

"No. The Student Council President is the person the students are most willing to place their hopes on."

His tone sharpened, precise.

"In other words, the person they trust to secure tangible benefits and solve real problems."

"The more you emphasize how far above everyone you are, the more distant you beco. The more distant you beco, the less people believe you understand them."

Asagiri held Kaguya's gaze without flinching.

"If you were an ordinary student, would you vote for soone who doesn't understand your needs, soone who feels like they live in a different world?"

Kaguya's lips parted, but no imdiate retort ca out.

Asagiri glanced at Fujiwara Chika.

She blinked innocently, smiling as if to say, "This has nothing to do with ."

"You don't understand the feelings of ordinary students," Asagiri continued, voice steady. "You'll dismiss their concerns as childish, boring, trivial."

He paused, then spoke more slowly, as if driving the point in.

"You don't need to genuinely understand them."

"But you do need to understand what kind of person they want as Student Council President."

"And then you build your campaign around that."

He let the silence settle for a heartbeat.

"So."

Asagiri's eyes narrowed just a little, and his voice carried a faint, cutting amusent.

"Put away that mysterious confidence of yours, like Gojo Satoru."
