Asagiri did not answer, and Yuuki Asuna did not answer either. Both of their gazes went past the man and landed on the person who had been thrown out of the room first.

After colliding with the blood faced elderly, that person's body went limp and fell to the ground. A very deep wound was clearly visible on their neck, from which blood continuously gushed out. The blood-faced elderly stood there motionless, seemingly confused, as if it could not understand what had just happened.

The next second, Asagiri and Yuuki Asuna's eyes fell on the blood stained kitchen knife in the man's hand.

"See, I told you."

Asagiri smiled and said softly to Yuuki Asuna beside him.

"I did not expect there to be other Players here besides us, and they actually used soone from the sa room as a at shield. That person's neck was almost cut off. How heavy was the hand? Tsk tsk, really terrifying."

At this mont, Yuuki Asuna could not say a single word. Before today, she was only a young lady from a wealthy family and had never seen such a bloody scene.

What happened before her eyes… was undoubtedly murder.

Why? Why could Asagiri remain calm in this situation, even having the presence of mind to make jokes?

Does this guy… not feel fear at all?

"Alright."

Asagiri reached out and gently placed his hand on Yuuki Asuna's slightly trembling shoulder, smiling.

"We should go. The clear ti limit is almost up."

Yuuki Asuna took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down.

"Okay…"

Just as the two were about to leave, the man holding the kitchen knife finally reacted. A sinister expression twisted on his face as he gritted his teeth fiercely.

"You saw everything… so you cannot leave!"

"Oh?"

Hearing this, the expression on Asagiri's face was not fear or caution but the delight of a fisherman who had finally caught a big fish. His voice carried the joy of a good harvest.

"I did not realize you were such a ruthless person. You really take things to the extre. Planning to kill us too just because we saw it? That is a bit interesting."

The man with the knife froze for a mont, unable to understand why the boy in front of him was not afraid at all even after witnessing him kill soone.

Is he insane? Or does he think I will not dare to act?

The man sized up Asagiri and Yuuki Asuna, confirming that neither of them seed to be carrying weapons. There was no need to consider the cute looking girl. She posed no threat. He only needed to kill the boy first…

"Go to hell!!"

The high pressure environnt, paired with the shock of killing soone earlier, caused the man to completely lose his mind. He raised the blood stained kitchen knife high, his face twisting with ferocity, and charged at Asagiri.

But Asagiri just stood there calmly, smiling, and glanced at Yuuki Asuna.

"Asuna Yuuki, if you do not act, he is going to cut ."

Seeing the man already charging forward, the blood stained knife flashing cold light as it was about to strike Asagiri, Yuuki Asuna reacted on instinct before she could think.

"Wind Blessing."

As the skill na left her lips, Yuuki Asuna felt her body grow light. The slender rapier appeared in her hand, and with a swift movent, she pierced directly into the wrist of the man raising the kitchen knife.

"Clang."

The kitchen knife fell to the ground with a crisp sound, followed by the man's painful scream.

"Ah!! My hand…"

Yuuki Asuna pulled out the rapier and watched the man clutching his wrist in agony. She felt no sympathy. She only looked at Asagiri, who wore his usual smiling expression, and sighed softly.

"You did that on purpose, didn't you?"

"Of course."

Asagiri admitted it without hesitation.

"Even without the dungeon reward, there is no way soone like him could kill with a kitchen knife. I only wanted you to act. Similar things will definitely happen in the future. If you get used to it now, you will not drag down the team later because of so saintly mindset."

Yuuki Asuna snorted lightly, raised her left hand to tidy her chestnut colored hair, and said calmly.

"Hmph, soone already planned to attack . How could I just wait to die because I was afraid of hurting them? I am not that foolish."

"Heh heh."

Asagiri's next words exposed her attempt to act tough.

"If that is the case, why did you not stab him through the throat? Do not say you were worried about getting cut. With the speed you just showed, you could have pierced his wrist first and then stabbed his throat. You said it so confidently, but you still cannot take a life, can you?"

Yuuki Asuna paused for a few seconds before forcing herself to argue.

"I… that is normal, isn't it? This is killing soone. Who could just do it without hesitation? You keep talking about , but you cannot do it either, right?"

Asagiri looked at her as if he had heard a cold joke.

"What are you talking about? I can do it without the slightest hesitation. Since you tested your ability, it is my turn to test mine."

As he said that, a black pistol suddenly appeared in Asagiri's hand. The next second, he did sothing that made Yuuki Asuna's pupils tremble violently.

Instead of pointing the muzzle at the man holding his wrist, Asagiri pressed the gun against his own temple, his finger already on the trigger.

"What are you—"

Before Yuuki Asuna could finish speaking, Asagiri's black eyes burst into golden light. He pulled the trigger without hesitation.

"Persona…"

"Human Asura."

The gun did not fire bullets like Yuuki Asuna expected. Instead, the mont Asagiri pulled the trigger, a two ter tall, completely black, faceless humanoid creature with strange glowing red patterns appeared behind him.

"So this is… the so called Persona…"

Seeing Human Asura appear, Yuuki Asuna realized his gesture was not suicide. The pistol must have been the summoning dium.

However…

Yuuki Asuna quickly noticed sothing else.

The blood faced elderly at the far end of the corridor, who had not moved at all before, suddenly stumbled backward several ters the mont Human Asura appeared. Even its tall body trembled.

This elder… who appeared as a monster to ordinary people… was it actually frightened by Human Asura?
