Qiantang River, located in the southern part of the Chu Kingdom within Bright Moon County, is a major river, geographically part of the coastal region.
At the sa ti, Qiantang River is also the largest tributary downstream of Lingxi, eventually flowing into the Qingli Sea.
It is worth ntioning that in this expedition, Lu Zhiwei and Lu Yuanshan did not make any special preparations.
Both of them have refined their Lifebound Flying Swords, and with such Magical Treasures, they are capable of contending with Tier Three Spiritual Artifacts.
For Lu Yuanshan, there’s nothing much to enhance regarding his Magical Artifacts.
As for Lu Zhiwei, there are so deficiencies.
Lu Ping had Lu Zhiwei and Lu Yuanshan go to Qinghe Market beforehand to purchase one or two Tier Three Spiritual Artifacts for Lu Zhiwei.
Lu Zhiwei has just entered the Foundation Establishnt Stage and does not have any Tier Three Spiritual Artifacts, necessitating so purchases to ensure safety for this journey.
Following Lu Ping’s advice, Lu Zhiwei was to procure two Spiritual Artifacts on this trip.
One is the Tier Three Middle Grade Demon-locking Ring.
This artifact functions similarly to the Vermilion Bird Ring.

After arriving from Cyan Lotus Mountain at Qiantang River, the two hovered above the Qiantang River, looking down, the scene presented was not a rushing river but a gentle one, with the surface appearing remarkably calm.
It’s only during sumr that the Qiantang River experiences tides, creating a spectacle of waves.
At other tis, the water remains as calm as it was now.
It is unimaginable that beneath this tranquil water lies a Foundation Establishnt Level Sea-Overturning Flood Dragon causing havoc and terrorizing the region.
Along the banks of the Qiantang River, nurous towns and villages are gathered, flourishing because of this great river, giving rise to a developed shipping and fishing industry.
"Brother, as Father ntioned, the creature called the Evil Flood Dragon, once awakened, would rampantly devour surrounding mortals and livestock, massacring the area. Such a demon calamity must not be tolerated."
Lu Zhiwei herself doesn’t detest all demon beasts but holds a significant aversion towards those who widely consu mortals.
Demon beasts have distinctions of good and evil by nature too.
Tad demon beasts can beco Mountain Guardian Beasts or mounts, benefiting cultivators, also known as Spirit Beasts, such as Cloud Stepping Beasts and Flying Cloud Beasts, etc.
However, untad demon beasts often, to satisfy hunger or expedite their cultivation progress, consu mortals and cultivators on a large scale, becoming bloodthirsty and indistinguishable from demon cultivators.
The Sea-Overturning Flood Dragon in the Qiantang River originated alone from the Qingli Sea over a hundred years ago, ascending along Lingxi, eventually choosing Qiantang River, a mundane gathering place, to live and breed.
After over a century of developnt, it has gathered many water demons under its command.
And because Qiantang River is a gathering place for mortals, within a thousand-mile radius, there are no Cultivation Markets, Cultivation Clans, or Sects for cultivators.
Thus, few cultivators pass through here, let alone settle.
Not even a decent Spirit Vein is found here, making it a place lacking in Spiritual Qi, unsuitable for cultivators to stay long.

Though called a valley, it mostly consisted of marshland and lakes.
The surrounding area was eerily silent, with no sign of large creatures; even insects and birds were hard to find.
Upon confirming the location, before the three could deliberate their next move, the water below began to stir.
With the river as the center, massive water currents surged and swirled, rapidly forming a whirlpool.
Lu Zhiwei noticed, her brows slightly furrowing.
They hadn’t even descended into the water to approach the Sea-Overturning Flood Dragon’s lair, yet it appeared to surface on its own?
What was happening?
While Lu Zhiwei pondered, Lu Ping had already subrged.
Utilizing his advantage as a Consciousness Body, he imdiately went underwater to investigate, witnessing a massive black flood dragon, much larger than the Black Water Profound Snake, ascending in the water.
Its entire body was covered in dark diamond-shaped scales, and its upper half was shrouded in a faint black mist, making it extrely eerie.
The most striking feature was its head, adorned with a flood dragon horn, and its body had grown short limbs, albeit not prominent.
"Stay alert, the flood dragon has appeared!"
As a Golden Core Ancestor, Lu Ping instantly recognized the creature’s origin, imdiately communicating to alert Lu Zhiwei and Lu Yuanshan.
Hearing this, Lu Zhiwei did not deliberate why it exhibited itself, instead, she promptly took out the Demon-locking Ring.
The Demon-locking Ring was connected to Lu Zhiwei’s mind, and after injecting Magical Power, the ring’s body expanded rapidly from bracelet size to form a massive ring rotating in the air.
"Go!"
Lu Zhiwei called softly, pointing afar, aiming the Demon-locking Ring at the vortex to trap the Sea-Overturning Flood Dragon as it surfaced.
But before the Demon-locking Ring reached the water’s surface.
Suddenly, anomalies erupted above the river.
A hissing sound burst forth.
More than a dozen black water columns of human size sprang skyward, blocking the Demon-locking Ring’s suppression.
The power of these columns, though seemingly ford from water and appearing weak, was in fact, extrely solid, capable of piercing a cultivator’s body if struck.
The two forces clashed in the air, producing a dull sound, leaving neither side able to overco the other, deadlocked in midair.
Subsequently, the water surface churned violently, with the enormous body of the Sea-Overturning Flood Dragon erging, splashing a wide scope of water, creating a roaring sound.
A pair of lantern-sized pupils, filled with eerie light, gazed at Lu Zhiwei as if observing prey, evidently pinpointing her as the one who attacked.
"Vajra Ring!"
Witnessing the scene, Lu Yuanshan imdiately acted, unleashing the Vajra Ring, hurling it forcefully towards the Sea-Overturning Flood Dragon.
