Damon and Ariel checked out of the inn and headed towards the vast mountain where Azure Dragon Sect test will be held.
The streets had grown considerably more congested than before, bodies packed together in every direction, and he had to force his way through before they finally arrived near the Sect’s gates.
Inner disciples had already positioned themselves between the candidates and the spectators, unleashing their spiritual pressure of True Spirit Realm onto anyone who step forward.
This was the welcoming test — a test of will.
To pass, each candidate had to withstand the crushing spiritual pressure radiating from those cultivators and push through regardless.
Many had already crumbled. Dozens lay scattered across the ground while disciples hauled them clear of the testing zone.

Seeing their performance, the inner disciples parted without a word, allowing them through to the Sect entrance.

On the way to the sect gate, Damon spotted two beautiful girls — both with dark purple hair, one wearing hers in a long ponytail while the other let hers fall straight — standing before a young man who was shouting at them.
"You dare to humiliate ? Jack Frostborn? Do you know who I am?"
The straight-haired girl moved behind the other girl, while the one with the ponytail moved forward and cover the other one.
"We just walked in front of you then asked you if you were alright. Because the spiritual pressure test from the inner disciple earlier your face didn’t look fine. How exactly does that count as humiliating you?"
"I have no use for concern from common girls like you two." Jack snapped.
"So, we wounded your little pride, did we?" The ponytailed girl’s tone was laced with mockery.

"Who the fuck dares—!" Jack turned, only to find Damon at the other end of his wrist.

"I don’t care if you are a noble or what, but... Don’t cause a scene right before the selection."
Jack pulls out his hand free with a sharp "Tch!" and fixed all three of them with a glare.
"My sister is an elder here. Rember that na — Jack Frostborn — because I’ll make sure that you all pay for this. You damn commoner," He turned on his heel and strode off toward the sect gate.
