The letter Jiang Dali wrote to Demon Lord Bai Suzhen was simple and direct, rely one line: "I have returned to the Truth Realm 5, God-searching Palace has declared war on my Black Wind Village, seven days later, I will go to the God-searching Palace to make my move. If you don’t act, then wait another two hundred years."
For soone like Demon Lord Bai Suzhen, who has lived for centuries, the ntality is always to seek stability. As the saying goes, "A gentleman’s revenge is not too late even after ten years," but for this Demon Lord, revenge is not too late even after one hundred years, as long as the ti is right.
And what is the right ti?
In Jiang Dali’s view, the timing Bai Suzhen speaks of is nothing more than his strength is not yet sufficient. But timing is not sothing that can be waited for without action, the world is unpredictable, too many variables exist. Now, with the Wan Family taking action through the hands of the Eternal Life God and Blood Transformation Divine Venerable, that is the biggest variable.
However, even now that variables have arisen, the timing is still not mature yet.
Whether Bai Suzhen is willing to make a move is still unknown, and all Jiang Dali can do is notify this Demon Lord so that the other can wisely judge the advantages and disadvantages and make an intelligent choice.
Besides writing this letter to Demon Lord Bai Suzhen, Jiang Dali also made a second preparation.
This second matter required Master Hui Qi from Shaolin to personally visit the Holy Dynasty to bring the news of the Blood Transformation Divine Venerable’s Puppet Avatar sowing chaos in the vassal state to Yuanting Pavilion of the Holy Dynasty, and then through Yuanting Pavilion to alarm Lingyun Pavilion of the Holy Dynasty, hoping thereby to attract experts from Lingyun Pavilion to take action and apprehend Blood Transformation Divine Venerable.
This move was imbued with deep intentions. The reason for not directly approaching Lingyun Pavilion and instead notifying them through Yuanting Pavilion was to consider the existence of the Saint Dynasty Wan Family.
After all, the severely injured almost half-dead Wan Zhongchen is also a steward of Lingyun Pavilion. If faced head-on with Lingyun Pavilion, it may be difficult to succeed or might deliberately delay, but once notified through Yuanting Pavilion, the matter will be placed directly in the open. Not everyone in Lingyun Pavilion would necessarily side with the Wan Family, they will likely address the matter promptly and officially.
Shaolin is also a top-tier force, and in the past, so of its experts and lay disciples have gone to the Holy Dynasty for developnt. Although most of those experts and disciples have not stepped into the Returning to Truth Realm, they have established their networks and forces there, so when the highly esteed monk of the Hui Generation, Master Hui Qi sends the ssage, it is sure to be taken seriously and swiftly achieved.
Having completed these two tasks, Jiang Dali once again ca to the entrance of Dharma Cave, entering it under the guidance of the esteed monk Hui Jing.
...
Inside Dharma Cave, silence reigned, presenting a deep, distant, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, causing anyone who enters to involuntarily feel a calming presence and deeply sense the Zen chanism.
Unlike the oppressive Buddha Power in Wooden Man Alley, the Buddha Power within Dharma Cave was llow and gentle, providing a comforting feeling of warmth reminiscent of a wanderer returning ho after years away, a surge of imnse and familiar emotion flooding the heart, evoking a deep sense of closeness.
Jiang Dali entered the cave, standing tall with hands behind his back, feeling that his surging Inner Strength and slightly anxious emotions seed to be magically soothed, settling down involuntarily, as if even the most urgent matters ahead need not stir him. His keen eyes scanned the surrounding rocky walls adorned with Buddha statues, each with a serene expression, lifelike and naturally exuding Zen chanism.
"Amitabha Buddha! Master Jiang, the place ahead is where Ancestor Dharma once faced the wall in years past."
Hui Jing, dressed in gray monk robes with a brownish-red shoulder cape, raised his hand to point forward.
Jiang Dali raised his eyes, seeing a smooth stone wall with nothing on it in the front, below which lay a cushion, showing no peculiarities but was the zone where Buddha Power was most concentrated. Even his formidable Primordial Spirit could clearly feel the distinct energy field in that cushioned area, indicating it was indeed a unique place.
Hui Jing said, "Back then, Ancestor Dharma faced the wall here for nine years, eventually achieving Bodily Buddha, yet also pierced through Heavenly chanism. When Ancestor finally spoke after nine years, his first words were two: ’Not good!’"
Jiang Dali looked at Hui Jing, "Not good? Are you referring to that disruptive item contained within Dharma’s Heart?"
Hui Jing nodded and replied with a tone of neutrality, "Correct! It is a terrifying weapon born with the heavens and earth! Possessing infinite Magic Power, it can alter anyone’s fate, driving people worldwide into madness."
"Oh?"
Jiang Dali’s interest was piqued, "From your tone, it seems you have opened Dharma’s Heart and know what that item is? What kind of terrifying weapon is it? It could drive such a person as Dharma Venerable into madness post-breakthrough..."
Upon ntioning the final word "madness."
Jiang Dali noticeably felt the Buddha Power fiercely undulating within the cave, inexplicably becoming suppressive and restless, yet quickly calming down.
"Master Jiang, please refrain from careless speech!" Hui Jing hurriedly advised, then with downcast eyes, shook his head saying, "Regarding what that item is, it touches upon vows made before my rebirth as Hu Hualihan, I beg forgiveness for my inability to disclose it."
"Vows? So your reincarnation as Hu Hualihan was indeed to protect the secret of that item?"
Jiang Dali’s interest was even more heightening, yet a sickening feeling of having his appetite whetted but not fulfilled bothered him, feeling helplessly drawn to wanting to punch that old monk.
Why ntion sothing you can’t divulge?
The so-called oath was akin to what the Esoteric Sect terd as the vows of the True Word Sect; monks of Esoteric Sect place great emphasis on seal, spells, and practice. The so-called tri-mystic cultivation refers to body, speech, mind, particularly vows set by virtuous lammas with Buddha Power before their demise, often hold the greatest binding force, observed even by other lammas.
