Infinite Evolution: Dominating The Apocalypse With My God Tier Items Chapter 154: Depature
The six quickly gathered once more. Getting out of here was easy — the president had handed them a beacon device that, once activated, would connect straight to the portal underneath the Pentagon.
So the problem wasn’t leaving; it was who they were leaving the survivors to.
It wasn’t possible for them to abandon the civilians as they were. The situation would quickly worsen without a leader and a properly sorted structure.
The civilians needed soldiers to hunt at. They needed builders to construct more hos.
They needed to piece this place back into a functional society before the group left. If not, then they were just leaving a heap of snacks at the Bloodborne’s doorstep.
"Elaine, were there any outstanding individuals you can recomnd?" Uriel asked after brooding for a while.
They didn’t need much — just soone who could hold things together until the military arrived.
After all, there was a confird camp of Bloodborne one corruption zone away. The governnt would be stupid not to send officials to defend this border.
Elaine’s eyes flashed as she thought silently for a mont before speaking. "Most of the outstanding fighters and promising talents are stars..."
Trisha spoke imdiately after Elaine finished. "Why don’t we leave so of the targets behind? That way we can be assured."
The three remained silent for a bit, unsure of this idea. They themselves had read through Elaine’s report.
Each of these people was invaluable, especially the non-combatants with utility gene skills.
They were all reluctant at the idea of leaving any behind, and their mission stated to recover them all.
"Sigh... we don’t have a choice. This is the only way. As much as these civilians are innocent, they are humans. There must be several figures holding dangerous thoughts and plans.
Plus, there must be other people who would be joining their camp. Without an iron-fist ruler, this area will slowly deteriorate into chaos." Seth explained his stance.
And the others couldn’t argue with his logic either. As reluctant as they felt, they needed to think of the bigger picture.
"Fine, let’s do it!" Uriel affird with a nod.
With that, Elaine left to sort those she thought would be the best to manage things.
anwhile, the others planned their departure, already setting up the array and preparing the stars for departure.
Seth stood on a platform in a wide ranch field silently as he observed the stars being arranged in the order of their specialties.
Their auras were indeed quite outstanding. Seth had already sensed a few Noble grades among the bunch.
There were also three with Royal grade among them. One in particular had a unique gene skill that caught Seth’s attention.
He had an unconventional ability that might seem useless at first glance, but was monuntal to a civilization.
Arcane Blueprint Manifest!
A strange Royal grade ability that had only one passive effect.
Ancient blueprints would manifest across the skin of the wielder, changing randomly every 24 hours.
Honestly, in every way it was useless to the user. One could even call it a trashy Royal grade gene skill.
But the content of these blueprints was important to a growing power like humanity!
When Seth interrogated the user, he got a layman’s understanding of how the skill worked.
The user was a ans through which the gene skill tapped into the karma fortune of the human race, forming blueprints of technologies and ancient artifacts that humans could craft!
This guy was a walking divine library for inventions. Like the one currently on his back — after deciphering it, Seth discovered it was the blueprint to craft a tech called the War Steed!
Seth was quick to draft it down, in case the 24-hour tir refreshed the content.
From this alone, Seth doubted Trisha’s credibility even less.
She was right — these guys really were the stars of the human race!
Who knew how many more were out there with unbelievable abilities and quirks that could further humanity’s advancent?
This put Seth’s heart at ease even more. This ant he didn’t have to carry all the responsibilities alone.
With this much talent, in enough ti he could slack off and focus on pursuing the thrill of progress he yearned to imrse himself in.
After several more minutes, Elaine had already picked a few combatants and a few utility-type Evolvers who would stay behind and maintain order.
And Uriel and the others were ready to activate the beacon.
Seth turned his gaze toward the horizon, the silhouette of the dragon and the Bloodborne appearing in his mind.
His expression grew cold. A war really was coming, and he had to make every preparation he could.
’For one, I need to get myself suitable classes!’ Seth’s eyes flashed.
He had decided that after this trip, he would be paying a visit to the origin realm — not to explore, but to get himself a pair of classes.
This wouldn’t be as easy as it seed, because sothing told him the foreign race bunch they clashed with last ti wouldn’t be letting them go so easily.
Seth frowned. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but their encounter with them last ti felt a bit too... hollow.
Now Seth knew more about the dynamics of power. He could affirm that the green-eyed bunch could have killed them whenever.
Yet they just watched as their teammate struggled against a bunch of early-grade Awakeners.
’Those eyes.’ Seth thought. It almost felt like longing?
His eyes flashed. ’No... greed!’
Seth wasn’t sure what, but it seed he and his friends had sothing they wanted...
This deduction led Seth to believe there was a likely chance those guys would be waiting for their return.
And this ti, the clash wouldn’t be as easy.
But Seth frowned, unable to understand the thought process behind his vague intuition.
No matter how he considered it, it didn’t make sense for the foreign race group to go through such trouble.
After all, no matter what happened, Seth and the others could always just exit from the origin realm.
Suddenly his pupils constricted. "Except they have a way of preventing exit!"
Seth felt a chill run down his spine. There was still a lot he didn’t know, so regardless, he decided to be extra cautious.
"Seth, quick, we’re activating the beacon now!" A voice called him out of his daze.
