The sky-eye—the manifestation of the Architect’s surveillance—did not strike imdiately. It lingered, pulsing with a cold, analytical dread. Kai knew the window of opportunity. The Architect was currently re-allocating resources to patch the 'Shattered Wilds' breach.

He didn't have much ti before the next wave—or sothing significantly worse—arrived.

"Elara," Kai said, not taking his eyes off the shimring grid above. "If we want to survive what’s coming, I need to break the level cap. The current systemic restrictions on my growth are the only thing keeping at the 'Sovereign' level."

Elara wiped a smudge of glowing data-residue from her cheek. "You're at level 50, Kai. The threshold to move beyond that is a death trap. Most who try to force the barrier end up being scrubbed by the system as 'bloat data.' You’ll be treated like a virus."

"Then I’ll be the most infectious virus they’ve ever faced," Kai replied.

He turned toward the deepest part of the Shattered Wilds. His Omniscient Arbiter’s Sight identified a massive 'Data Sink'—a concentration of raw, unformatted energy where the world’s code bled out from the cracks in reality. It was a high-risk zone where the environnt itself was unstable, constantly fluctuating between existence and erasure.

It was the perfect place to feed.

"The system rewards efficiency," Kai noted, walking into the heart of the distortion. "To level up, I don't need to fight stronger enemies. I need to consu the structural foundation of the zone itself."

As they reached the center, reality grew thin. The trees here were flickering images of trees, and the ground felt like walking on static. Kai sat in the lotus position, letting the chaotic flow of the Data Sink wash over him.

He didn't just absorb the energy; he assimilated it.

[System Notice]

Warning: Assimilating raw data flow.

Stress test initiated.

Current EXP efficiency: 400%... 800%... 1200%.

The pain was imdiate—a white-hot tearing sensation as if his very identity was being deconstructed and rebuilt. But with Primordial Assimilation, the trauma was translated into pure growth. He pulled in the ambient energy of the forest, the residual mana of the defeated Purge Constructs, and the very ground of the Data Sink.

His level began to climb, the digits flashing with a relentless, violent speed.

Level 55... 62... 70...

Each level granted him a deeper insight into the world's structure. He felt the limitations of his physical form peeling away, replaced by a density of energy that allowed him to exist slightly outside the reach of the Architect’s gaze.

[System Notice]

Level 80 reached.

Talent 'Primordial Assimilation' synchronized with Reality Architect.

Unlock: 'Code-Walking'.

Host can now temporarily exist as data, moving through the grid to bypass physical barriers.

He stood up, his skin glowing with a faint, shifting gold light. He felt heavier, yet more ethereal. He had bypassed the system's attempts to gatekeep his power by essentially "hacking" the experience curve.

But the rapid growth had consequences.

The sky-eye above surged. The Architect had detected the sudden spike in his power. The white grid lines overhead thickened, glowing with an angry, corrosive violet. The entire Shattered Wilds began to collapse, the reality-patch failing under the weight of Kai’s evolution.

"You've triggered the alarm," Elara said, her hand tight on her blade. "They're not sending constructs anymore. They're sending a 'Global Reset'."

Kai looked at the horizon. He could feel the pulse of the Architect’s main server—an imnse, terrifying presence of order and stagnation. He was only level 80. He needed 20 more, and he needed them before the world reset.

"Let it reset," Kai said, his eyes locking onto the center of the grid. "I'm going to take the experience from the ones sent to stop ."

He drew his blade, his aura of gold and violet swirling into a storm that threatened to tear the sky itself. The grind was over; the raid on the Architect had begun.
