Within the galos Ynnere, a being wondered whether the path he was on was the right one.
Around him, dozens of Omniverses rotated as the complexity required to keep them all miniaturized and in such a state was utterly unfathomable.
Even the strongest of entities with imasurable complexity of existence experienced doubt, much less those who were weak.
It was general. It was unavoidable.
Across countless weavings.
Outside the scope of the vast galos Ynnere, galos Beyond, and even galos Nihilos.
Within a unique frequency of Existence.
Within an extrely unique Spoke of Existence!
Inside a region of the Expanse filled with a mixture of black and white strings.
There was a shadow of a woman who was sitting on a white string, her hands holding an Omniverse as she seed utterly engrossed in it.
Her entire figure seed to be made of a cluster of shadows that existed and didn't exist at the sa ti, her complexity being utterly frightening as it was not at the level of a Terrestrial Entity nor a Constellation Entity!
Even a Pioneer of Existence that stood above Existence Severing…was still a Constellation Entity.
Above that…was a Source Complexity.
Source!
The complexity of this entity could only be at this stage as, at this mont, another shadow flashed near her.
She didn't even turn towards it as she flipped the weavings of the Omniverse in her hands and asked lightly.
"What is it now? At least tell it is local."
Her voice was sweet and commanding at the sa ti, its intent firm and undeniable.
The other shadow was a man with an equally terrifying aura who spoke calmly.
"Sadly not local. A mission of high priority in another Spoke of the Wheel."
"Oh?" The shadow of the woman frowned at such words as she looked up.
"Yes. A few kids are planning on carrying out an action in a unique frequency of the Wheel. We just need to ensure it succeeds."
"Oh? Any more details? Any reason why?" Using the sa word, the shadow of the woman replied again.
The shadow of the man was still calm as he paused at these questions montarily before he replied.
"The only details I was given are that a little Pioneer and two Existence Severing Constellations seek to impose the weavings of…THAT Spoke of the Wheel to ensnare a target. No details were given on who they are or why they are doing what they are doing. We just need to ensure they succeed. As for why…we do not question orders. We rely follow. You know this by now."
"..."
The shadow of the woman was briefly silent before it continued.
"Who is the target that even deserves our attention to ensure they end up in that place?"
A heavy question.
Yet the reply was heavier!
"Mission paraters did not include their details either. Nor are we to probe the weavings of the target. Even those above us do not subjectively look at the identities of all those involved as we are supposed to stay away from any Entanglents. We are only supposed to ensure the weavings of the target are ensnared and pulled into that place, that is all. Barbatos…your position may be unique, but you are not above all of us. You cannot operate differently from us. Our job makes it so that we only do what we are told without tainting the Weavings of the Wheel. We only exist-"
"Yes, yes."
The shadow of the woman waved her hands dismissively.
Her shadowy figure was short and vibrant, her eyes sharp and filled with endless light as she continued with her interruption.
"I know. We only exist to ensure the flow of the Wheel. I just…find it odd that we are supposed to never question. Who are they to say that supporting or denying a certain event in so frequency of the Wheel is what allows the smooth turning of the Wheel to continue? We move covertly to make sure our actions aren't observed by THEM, who also stand to watch and ensure the flow of the Wheel. So really…who is right, and who is wrong? Have you ever stopped to consider this, O Amalthos?"
"..."
Her reply caused the other dark shadow, another Source Complexity entity, to frown before he replied!
"Barbatos…your father sits among those who gaze across countless weavings and see which screws need to turn in order to keep the flow. If you question him, you can do so yourself. I remain here speaking to you because I was ordered to undertake this mission with you. Simply because I am supposed to be here at this mont, in this Weaving. Otherwise, I would not bother."
WAA!
His words were cold.
Barbatos put away the Omniverse in her hands and looked at him closely as she sighed.
"Supposed to be here…you truly believe such a thing? The flow of the Wheel…"
Her surroundings began to buzz.
As if she was about to say sothing truly dangerous and profane.
She wanted to say that since she was born, she felt like nobody could truly read the flow of the Wheel.
Nobody could really understand where and what was supposed to happen!
Those who tried to take control, like her father and others, and said what they did was all for the continued flow of the Wheel… may very well be in the wrong.
There were others who took an entirely different approach and simply monitored, preventing any other forces from interfering or jumping between different weavings of the Wheel!
At the end of the day, everybody believed themselves to be right.
As for her? Maybe even she was wrong.
"Haa…never mind." She sighed once more as she rose up.
"Lead the way. I rely exist to follow orders too, yes?"
"..."
The other shadow, Amalthos, looked at her silently before terrifying power and complexity began to bubble around him.
Within the span of an instant, they disappeared right after.
Their disappearance wasn't just to another location, but towards another Spoke of the Wheel entirely!
