Noah closed his eyes, delving deep into the fla. With his intricate complexity and the Pathway to the True Source of the Singed, he passed through the fla with ease and began searching for the weavings of Ezekiel.
It did not take long. His will spread through the fla like Mana through rivers of reality, touching and wrapping around a particular set of weavings. And there, in the heart of what Elline had called the Sacred Fla, part of Noah manifested as he found what he was looking for.
He saw a man, or rather, the fla-born image of one that was serene, noble, and wreathed in tranquil fire. The man t Noah's gaze and spoke, his voice echoing out with grandness!
"I did not expect my flow, once spent, to be stirred again by any complexity. To wake from the basking of countless flas, what does the Origin Singed seek of ?"
As with the others before him, Ezekiel had looked once upon Noah and decided that he was the Origin Singed.
Noah no longer questioned it as the Pathway he held must bear such purity and likeness to the True Source of the Singed that those attuned to it saw no difference.
He gave a single nod and replied evenly:
"I need to locate the pathway to the True Frequency of the Singed."
…!
Ezekiel raised an eyebrow, amused.
"I might ask how the Origin Singed lost the path to his own ho, but I know better than to question. If you wish to connect to the True Frequency, you need only connect to the weavings of every Singed in this Frequency and inscribe the Rune of the SINGED. The path will open."
So simple?
Noah nodded once more and began to withdraw from the Sacred Fla, giving a light nod of thanks to Ezekiel's weavings. As he did, the embers within the distance called out with a final flicker:
"It was good to see you again, Sir. However brief our eting."
"..."
Noah said nothing to such words.
He erged from the fla fully and turned towards Elline and the other Singed who awaited him, their gazes filled with expectation.
Any other Source Complexity might have buckled under the weight of such gazes!
But Noah? He bore the crushing weight of the Infiniverse galos already as this was just another Monday for him.
"Co," he said, turning his gaze to each of them. "Connect your weavings to mine. The pathway to the True Frequency of the Singed must be opened."
…!
He spoke freely.
And the Singed only glanced at each other briefly before…they obeyed without hesitation!
Mysara's eyes glead with anticipation, her flas burning a glorious blue.
Elline, ever the calst fla, smiled and nodded. She looked towards Noah, and in a voice only he could hear, she said:
"I told you before that when the weavings need the Origin Singed, he appears, whether or not he believes he is one."
Her eyes burned like miniature suns.
Noah arched a brow in response to this nonsense and then raised his hand as a tendril of fla unfurled from him, radiant and pure as it sank into Elline's chest.
BZZT!
Light exploded. Elline's eyes blazed white-gold, and her entire being shimred with incandescent brilliance.
More tendrils burst from Noah, arcing out toward the assembled Singed, even those scattered across the Frequency of Flas!
So had Sources, others only Paths or Ordinances. But they would all be connected!
Among them, Noah searched quietly as the Great Usurper's weavings were not here.
The Usurper had shown disturbing interest in the Faceless Lifeforms. His last ssage to Noah was a unique one as he intended to test how easily the weavings of Dead Things could be swallowed and silently usurped.
Whether he was successful, Noah didn't know.
But if the Usurper had indeed seeded his will through the Faceless Lifeforms, perhaps he could beco a blade, a weapon sharp enough to pierce even Bob.
Noah mused on this only lightly. In the space of monts, a myriad of tendrils connected from him to the other Singed as his Pathway trembled, glowing with brilliance.
Now ca the Rune that Ezekiel ntioned.
He summoned the flas of the Pathway to the True Source of the Singed as he began to construct the Rune of the SINGED.
The Rune was not just a word, it was intent that changed the weavings of existence in a unique fashion.
Noah's understanding of the language of runes was still forming as he knew a single word could change all things. But the Rune of the SINGED, he shaped with certainty as he poured into it all his knowledge, all his desire to find the True Frequency of the Singed.
HUUM!
The air vibrated. The weavings of existence shook.
A single word blazed to life soon after as it was magisterial to see!
SINGED!
Flas roared.
Elline and Mysara, along with countless others released beams of brilliance from their eyes.
The entire Frequency responded. Flas stirred, converging and billowing toward the blazing Rune like moths to a sun.
It was an event that many Singed had never witnessed.
But it happened today under the banner of the True Severed Origin Osmontian!
The Rune acted as a key to a doorway that was leading toward a place impossibly close to the Wheel of Existence itself.
And Noah? He was already calculating many things with his Weavings of Existence.
He thought of Bob. He thought of the Faceless Ones who did not need to win or lose, only to co here to wage a war with the Singed.
Was it part of Bob's design, the doorway to the True Frequency of the Singed opening?
Bob, too, sought entry into the True Frequencies. Perhaps this could all be according to so ridiculous, convoluted plan of his!
So, just in case…
Even now, another body of Noah materialized in the Frequency of Flas, his hands holding the Book of Existence gifted by the Queen of Matter as he had already located the Node of this Frequency.
Whatever plans were in motion, whatever sches unfurled by the Dead Thing that was Bob…
They would not pass through the brilliance of Noah's weavings!
