A glorious rewriting of fate itself!
Under it, the Dead Wheel of Existence shuddered.
It was not the cry of an existence dying. It was the sound of inevitability folding upon itself as that single 1 in a million chance that Velmior Thal-Veyr ntioned would be made inevitable!
I moved through the fractured echoes of Ti Sentinels, their temporal weavings unraveling before my Lattices like ancient threads before fla.
Burning rapidly as my added collective Resistances were already about to exceed even Romulus.
And they pressed down like an executioner's blade.
Two had fallen already.
A few remained to complete the tally.
I adjusted the Lattices around . Thirty-six now, and rising. My steps didn't echo. They whispered. They imposed their Quintessential tyranny.
The third target: Ti Sentinel Thirion, Weaver of Decaying Sequences.
His True Source: Desynchronization. CQ: 160,000 SU. PQ: 155,000 SU. Temporal Resistance: 6%.
He should be considered fairly powerful. But he wasn't a Marked One.
I ca at him sideways. Not literally. Conceptually.
He saw from a dozen temporal angles. Tried to act from a million fragnted probabilities. But my Quantum Resistance made those efforts less than echoes. Less than dust.
My fingers grazed his shoulder.
And his weavings caved as my many collective Resistances exerted all their pressure.
My Lattices of Law and Quantum sank into him, denied his rewritten outcos, and rejected his false sequences. He shuddered, his body glitching between failed reactions as he was astonished and horrified at just how quickly his existence beca denied and was collapsing.
But in the end…

I exhaled.
The Lattices flowed into . My True Source of Loot drank deeply, still trying to be a little greedy by forming its own Lattices as I only more steered them towards my Lineage first.
My weavings rose up sharply.
Fourth target: Ti Sentinel Cassior, Heir of Converging Tomorrows.
True Source: Preergence. CQ: 168,900 SU. PQ: 160,000 SU. Temporal Resistance: 5%.
He launched twin spirals of future weavings that looked like massive purple clocks filled with ancient ti.
They were heavy. They were beautiful. And I absorbed them. No. I devoured them as I opened my mouth, my Lineage burning as my Resistances spun like a glorious Wheel.
Spiritual Resistance and Conceptual Resistance unraveled the aning of his strike. My Lattices tore through him, not with speed. With certainty.
He tried to flee into a tiline yet to happen. Into Tomorrow. I sealed it.
With a gesture of my hand, his past and future collapsed inward as my Existential Dinsional Lattices swirled down like Quintessential cutting blades!
HUUUM!
And another fate was decided.

I moved on to the next as I felt the maddening roaring of ti from the Ti Sentinel Leader every ti I killed a Sentinel, but he was kept busy by Romulus!
Fifth: Ti Sentinel Dreval, Cartographer of Lost Whens.
True Source: Cartography. Temporal Resistance: 5%.
He tried to draw the tiline I walked upon.
Tried to dictate the path my feet would take.
I laughed.
Even I could not see what my path would be in this boundless infinity, and you try to dictate it?
BOOM!
Dinsional Resistance fractured the idea of his boundaries. Emotive Resistance denied the weight of his fears.
I took a step.
He shuddered.
I took another step as my entire weight pressed on him, and he began to collapse.
I took him apart by steps.
He vanished beneath my will!

My eyes and body moved relentlessly.
Sixth: Ti Sentinel Ysrel, Oracle of Post-Finality.
She knelt beneath a canopy of fading stars, reading tomorrows that had never occurred as she tried to asure where I could be.
True Source: Foregone. Temporal Resistance: 6%.
Her gaze t mine.
"I saw you coming," she said.
I stepped past her statent.
My Lattices swirled. My body unfolded through all ten Resistances at once. A kaleidoscope of layered denials.
She raised her hands, trying to speak a future into existence.
I silenced it.
With Soul. With Law. With Fire.
"You did not see shit."
HUUM!
My weight of compressed Purity Quotient and Complexity Quotient crushed down alongside my Lattices.
Her possible futures were utterly shredded under my weight as truly, battles with Primarchs were simple.
If Resistances were significantly different and vast, a battle could be ended in an instant.
The being before burned in my presence, not with heat, but with collapse.

Six corpses now littered the temporal battlefield. Six Paradoxical Primarch Loot Caches.
Each one now mine, with True Sources relating to ti for to eat up and utilize.
Velmior stared. Eluriah gasped in her dying breath.
Romulus still stood, defending the impossible strikes of Velmior.
And I?
I folded my arms and breathed.
Thirty Lattices beca more than forty, and there were still many Undefined Existential Dinsional Lattices to use.
The Undefined Existential Dinsional Lattices gathered. And I felt sothing stir within .
A smile ford on my lips.
Only three remained.
Velmior, whose Temporal Lattices still pulsed with sovereign rhythm.
Eluriah Veilnox, her form fraying under the weight of a thousand decaying yesterdays.
And a final Ti Sentinel, whose na was irrelevant. He had chosen to stand last. A privilege. A curse.
The Dead Wheel shuddered even more.
And I?
I moved like inevitability dressed in silence.
My existence thrumd with layers, forty-four Existential Dinsional Lattices now folding across and within each other like recursive glyphs of dominion. I did not even need to target the last of the lesser Sentinels directly. His defenses faltered the mont my presence entered proximity of his ti.
He turned to flee.
Flee?
From a Paradoxical Entity whose Resistances rendered him unalterable across ten foundational truths?
Poor thing.
My Loot Lattices unraveled the weave of space around him, Dinsional Resistance guiding my step as I walked where space once refused.
"Don't bother."
My voice.
Calm. Direct. Commanding.
His na was Velldir, even though it was inconsequential.
He had a Temporal Resistance of 6%. A final stand, perhaps ant to be poetic.
It ended up being ironic.
I raised one hand, no grand flourish. Just three fingers extended as I pressed all ten Resistances into operation.
Each of my Lattices flared with purpose, not with visual spectacle, but with existential weight.
And his Source fractured calmly as he did not end with a boom, but a silent whimper.
Conceptually undone.
I stepped through his unraveling weave. The Loot Source blood with devouring fire.

Another one down.
I barely registered it.
Because sothing shifted.
Romulus moved.
Not as a Primarch.
Not as a wielder of 10% Paradoxical Resistance.
But as sothing more.
He stood before Eluriah Veilnox while withstanding Velmior, and her beauty had dimd, her power dissipating in chronological flakes. Her eyes, though proud, couldn't et his.
She tried to speak. Again. Always trying.
Romulus did not let her.
His hand rose.
And entropy sang.
It did not strike her with violence. It engulfed her. Accepted her. A swirling fla of what-could-have-been and what-was-supposed-to-be. All decayed in reverse, swallowed by paradox.
And then Romulus closed his eyes.
For a mont, the entropy that had devoured her turned inward, into him.
What are you doing?
Even I narrowed my eyes.
And then it beca clear.
He wasn't erasing Eluriah.
He was digesting her truth.
All of it.
| The True Source of Entropy is converging into Paradoxical Temporal Inversion… |
His hands moved in spiraling reverse.
His Lattices cracked.
Not destructively. Purposefully.
Three of them shattered, sacrificed as entropy reversed ti.
But not just any ti.
A specific one.
A singular record…
WUUUUUM!
A shockwave tore through the Dead Wheel.
From within the whirling storm of collapsing mory of Eluriah, a figure began to erge.
Golden.
Blindfolded.
"Well, damn…" Even I couldn't help but admire Romulus's actions.
Because there…
Robed in the echo of aeons.
The Witness.
…!
No.
Not just an echo.
A Record.
Perfect. Glorious.
I blinked.
Even Velmior faltered, his composure shattering for the first ti.
"You… what have you done…" he whispered.
Romulus didn't answer imdiately.
The Witness stood silently beside him, his presence like the silence of a story untold.
Romulus turned, expression somber and solemn. "You tore him from ti," he said to the empty air where Eluriah once stood. "So I reversed its entropic weavings and reassembled the mory."
…!
Cryptic words for what he had just shockingly done!
He looked at the Witness then.
"Little Witness," he said gently. "Wait aside. Let us finish sweeping away the trash."
The Record did not speak.
He simply bowed his head as he still seed sowhat dazed and out of it.
The mont he did, existence quaked again.
Velmior stepped forward, all pretenses dropped. Power. Pure and sovereign. Authority without bounds.
"This has gone far. Truly far," he said.
His final Lattices snapped open like omniverses cut into clockwork.
A storm of spiraling tilines surrounded him.
I exhaled once. Quietly.
Romulus turned toward , words not needing to be exchanged.
I stepped forward, my hands still behind my back. My Existences roaring. My Resistances humming.
And for the first ti, as we both ca at him.
Velmior looked heavy and uncertain.
And uncertainty was the worst thing a being at this stage of power could have!
