Now reading: Chapter 3945: Brutal! II from Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse, a Action novel by Adui.

With movents that carried no more emotional weight than preparing a simple al, Thal’dorven removed the Marine Lifeforms caught upon his hook, using hands that moved with casual precision to snap their necks before tossing the bodies into a bucket placed conveniently beside him.

The sight was simultaneously mundane and horrifying, speaking to a perspective that viewed beings of trendous power as nothing more than ingredients for dinner.

Did Noah...not look at Basic Early Living Marine Lifeforms just like this?

"..."

As his gaze swept beyond the Early Creature, Noah began to observe the fantastical layout of this Blooming Shore that served as Thal’dorven’s domain.

The realm stretched across horizons that seed to exist beyond normal spatial limitations, each area dedicated to different aspects of cultivation and developnt that made his own Shore seem primitive by comparison.

Vast plots filled with radiant Sacred Herbs created patterns across the landscape, their arrangent suggesting knowledge accumulated over eons of experintation and refinent.

Each plant pulsed with its own inner radiance!

Massive and complex Sacred Totems rose from strategic positions throughout the Shore, their bells towering five tis higher than anything Noah had managed to construct.

The structures humd with authority so concentrated it was visible as distortions in the surrounding air, their presence suggesting capabilities that transcended his current understanding of what such monunts could accomplish.

Groves of trees bearing vibrant fruits created areas of concentrated life that made the very atmosphere shimr with barely contained vitality.

Each piece of fruit appeared to contain within its flesh the compressed essence of advancent itself, promising transformations that could elevate any being fortunate enough to partake of their bounty!

Throughout this impossible garden moved five unique Early Living Land Lifeforms, their presence adding layers of complexity to an already overwhelming display of accumulated resources.

Four appeared to be of Refined status, while the fifth was clearly Eminent, its size alone dwarfing anything he had previously encountered.

The Eminent Land Lifeform resembled a crystalline stag whose antlers branched into patterns that burned to observe directly, each point containing compressed Folds that pulsed with their own weavings!

Its re presence seed to stabilize the Shore itself, suggesting symbiotic relationships between Early Creatures and their chosen companions.

Additional features dotted the landscape with the kind of primitive grandeur that spoke to an entity that had achieved perfection through simplicity rather than complexity.

After absorbing this impossible wonder in what felt like both an instant and an epoch, Noah’s attention snapped back to more imdiate concerns as he noticed the tir for his survival trial.

Forty-five seconds remained.

The countdown felt simultaneously too long and impossibly brief, each passing mont bringing him closer to either triumph or absolute annihilation!

He looked ahead as the Marine Lifeforms around him began roaring their defiance, their voices combining into a chorus of challenge directed toward the Early Creature who had dared to treat them as re prey.

Their combined might created waves of authority that would have impressed even Honored Living Existences, yet their display seed to have no more effect than children shouting at a mountain!

Children trying to topple an elephant!

Thal’dorven looked up at them with what might have been amusent, his expression shifting from casual indifference to sothing approaching mild interest.

When he smiled, the expression carried the weight of Existence aligning themselves according to his will.

In the next mont, a single Glyph appeared upon his forehead with the brilliance of a Wheel being born.

The symbol blazed with the authority of Living Law itself, its presence transforming the fundantal nature of reality in the imdiate area!

The mont the Glyph manifested, a massive white hand descended from the skies above with the inexorable certainty of gravity itself.

The appendage was composed of pure Living Law given form, its fingers spread wide to encompass half of the remaining Marine Lifeforms in a grip that wanted no resistance!

Noah felt his existence freeze once again as the hand approached, but this ti his paralysis was not complete. The combined effects of his accumulated power and the desperate urgency of the situation allowed him to retain just enough mobility to act, though every second of delay brought the descending hand closer to sealing his fate.

The mont those massive fingers closed around him, he would be crushed out of existence with no more ceremony than swatting an insect.

He knew this!

He understood this with absolute certainty, the knowledge burning through his consciousness like acid through flesh!

Gritting his teeth against the overwhelming pressure that sought to reduce him to helpless prey, Noah’s mind buzzed with command!

|Summon the Lifeform Moiraine!|

BOOM!

...!

In the next instant, the space around his Marine Lifeform body buzzed with the arrival of sothing glorious!

The illusory yet tangible form of Moiraine materialized beside him, her nine winged halos and five hundred Eminent Glyphs blazing with authority that montarily challenged even the oppressive presence of the Early Creature.

She was shocked as she took in their surroundings, her enhanced perception imdiately observing the impossible nature of their situation!

But the connection between her consciousness and Noah’s allowed her to understand the critical nature of their circumstances without need for lengthy explanation.

His voice reached her through the chaos of clashing authorities, carrying the urgency of soone whose existence hung by the thinnest of threads!

|Keep us alive for the next five seconds!|

WAA!

Her existence erupted with power as understanding crystallized into action. Without hesitation, without calculation of odds or consideration of personal safety, she roared her acknowledgnt.

"Yes, Sir!"

...!

Valiant.

Glorious.

For him...she would give anything!

Every one of her five hundred Eminent Glyphs blazed with simultaneous brilliance as she channeled the full extent of her accumulated power against the white hand descending upon them!

The collision of forces that followed would determine whether Noah’s trial continued or ended in the crushing grip of a terrifying authority made manifest.

And with the power of an Early Creature, it was truly hard to say just how the scales would tip!
