She stopped pacing, turning to face Noah with an intensity that made the air between them crackle.
"A Lost Forgotten Principle might allow its wielder to attack their enemy’s past, unmaking their victories before they occurred. Another might grant the power to steal defeat itself, transforming any loss into triumph through thods that defied comprehension. Still others could reach across dinsions to strike at the very idea of their target’s existence."
"Why are they called ’Lost Forgotten’?" Noah asked, his mind racing.
Yoshinami’s smile grew cold with bitter amusent.
"Because, Master, the Early Creatures who created them are gone. The knowledge of their cultivation has been scattered across existence like seeds on barren ground. The Principles themselves persist in so form, but the understanding of how to awaken them, how to nurture them, how to wield them safely...all of that has been lost to ti and catastrophe."
She paused, her expression growing thoughtful.
"So say that fragnts of this knowledge still exist, hidden within the deepest archives of the most ancient Folds, occasionally mutating Land Lifeforms or Living Existences to give them glimpses of power. Others believe that the Principles themselves sotis choose new wielders, appearing in monts of desperate need to those who possess the courage to grasp impossibility."
The conversation had revealed layers of wonder and glory!
Yet even as he absorbed this information, even as Moiraine and the others listened with the careful attention of those trying to understand forces far beyond their usual scope, Noah felt that they were only scratching the surface of truths!
"Where," he asked, "are the Early Creatures now?"
Yoshinami’s expression grew distant, her crimson eyes reflecting sothing that might have been uncertainty.
"This, Master, I do not know. So whisper that all are dead. Others believe they have retreated into hiding, waiting for conditions that will allow them to erge once more."
She shook her head, dark hair flowing like liquid shadow.
"There is...you, Master. Would you not be able to tell where you were before this?"
She said such words dangerously!
...!
And Noah...had no answer to give.
The weight of mystery settled over them like a shroud.
Noah was silent for a mont before he sighed tyrannicaly and voiced out.
"Co to ," he commanded, his voice carrying the absolute authority of an Early Creature addressing one who had already acknowledged his mastery.
Yoshinami’s smile grew cold with satisfaction, her crimson eyes blazing with approval at his direct approach.
"As you will it, Master," she replied.
Her transformation began with a smile that held promises of protection and violence. Her human form began to dissolve with the fluid grace of water finding its natural level.
Stellar obsidian light erupted from her dissolving body, streams of darkness so pure they seed to absorb the very concept of illumination.
The light moved with purpose, flowing toward Noah like liquid shadow given direction and intent.
The streams of obsidian radiance wrapped around his head with ceremonial precision, weaving themselves into patterns.
The light solidified as it settled, transforming into a crown of such magnificent arrogance that reality itself seed to approve of its existence.
The crown hung sideways on Noah’s head, its positioning suggesting casual dominance rather than formal ceremony.
Its obsidian surface held depths that seed to contain entire Folds of darkness, while patterns of deep purple and gold traced across its surface.
|The Crown of Inevitable Retribution has been successfully bonded. You are now protected against any single attack from anything lesser than an Early Creature or a force wielding a Lost Forgotten Principle once in the next 24 hours. Any being lesser than an Early Creature or a force of a Lost Forgotten Principle who attacks you with lethal intent will face True Death..plete annihilation across all dinsions and possibilities.|
Noah examined the prompt with the careful attention of soone who understood that he had just acquired protection beyond the reach of most forces in existence.
True Death was not rely the end of life, but the complete erasure of everything a being had ever been or could ever beco.
"How," he asked, his voice carrying curiosity about the practical applications of such power, "can the number of tis you can act each day be raised?"
Yoshinami’s voice rang out from the crown itself, carrying the sa cold precision it had held when spoken from human lips.
"There are always thods, Master, but they require resources that most would consider... excessive. I need materials that can restore what is expended in delivering True Death to those foolish enough to challenge you."
Her tone grew contemplative.
"Early Sacred Herbs would suffice, their essence refined enough to replenish what is lost in each application of my power. Corpses of Inevitabilities would be even more effective, their concentrated authority providing nourishnt."
The coldness in her voice deepened as she continued.
"Living Existences, still warm with the breath of life, could provide enough essence. And corpses of Early Creatures... ah, Master, such materials would allow to act without restriction, to deliver True Death as casually as breathing."
HUUM!
The casual brutality of her words created ripples of shock that spread outward through every consciousness present!
Yet as the implications settled in Noah’s mind, as he considered the practical applications of such power, his thoughts turned inevitably toward solutions.
Corpses of Inevitabilities...he may have more soon.
Corpses of Early Creatures...well, there was one, but not currently in his grasp!
When it ca to obtaining Early Sacred Herbs in quantities sufficient to enhance Yoshinami’s capabilities, to plant multiple plots throughout the Early Veiled Shore that could support the advancent of all his followers...
There was indeed a place that held such treasures in abundance.
Aeternitas Concordia.
Past the The Living Coalition Gateway that awaited him in thr Transcendent Origin Battlefront Folds, where powers gathered that could provide everything he needed to transform his domain into sothing that approached the magnificent gardens in the territories of true Early Creatures.
His eyes blazed with the fire of possibility as plans began to form in the depths of his consciousness, strategies that would see his Early Veiled Shore transford into sothing that could rival the greatest achievents of Early Creatures!
The Crown of Inevitable Retribution pulsed with approval, its obsidian surface reflecting the ambition that burned within its master’s Existence!
