Now reading: Chapter 4153 Order! I from Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse, a Action novel by Adui.

She paused, letting the weight of that observation settle before delivering the final cut.

"Because currently, you are a Living Origin. But where have you been standing this whole ti?"

The question buzzed in the air like a noose waiting for soone to notice they were already wearing it.

Duke Whisker's tiny form went perfectly still, his mind thinking of those words.

Not just the words but the aning behind them…the suggestion that his loyalty was in question, that his judgnt had been compromised!

He sighed, a sound that sohow carried despite his size, and when he spoke, his voice carried the weight of soone who had just realized that wisdom could co and go.

"Origin Ama Gias is indeed one of the leaders of Living Origins," he said, speaking clearly enough for all nearby Origins to hear. "I am certain she will be wise in her dealings with beings who have been aiding the Young Miss. Beings whose origins may trace to those terrifying Fold Dwellers from the Wandering Territories. Or perhaps beings that… even Living Existences look up to."

…!

The warning couldn't have been clearer if he had painted it in letters of fire across the amphitheater.

Don't make an enemy of Osmont. Don't assu you understand what you're dealing with. Don't let pride lead you into a confrontation you can't win.

Origin Ama Gias stared at him with those pure white eyes, and for a mont, it seed like she might respond to the implicit warning with explicit action.

Then, with a motion that suggested she understood exactly what Duke Whisker was trying to say and had decided to proceed anyway, she waved her hand.

A do of white light erupted around them instantly, as if it had always existed and they had just now noticed.

The barrier was perfect in its isolation, their voices and words would begin and end within this space, unheard and unrembered by anyone outside.

She turned back to Noah and Sigrid, and when she spoke, her voice carried the tone of soone playing their strongest card first.

"I greet the Young Miss. It has been too long, and it seems you have had many fortuitous encounters." The words were cordial, almost warm, but they were just the setup.

"Is it perhaps ti for you to co ho? To the Living Origins that your father gave his life for? That your mother, your Ama, gave her life for? That your sister gave her life for?"

HUUM!

The words landed like hamrs made from crystallized loss.

Each na, each relationship ntioned, was a wound that had never properly healed, a sacrifice that had been demanded and given for the sake of sothing greater.

Sigrid's body trembled at the ntion of her family!

It was subtle, barely perceptible, but to those who knew her, who had seen her maintain perfect order even while giving away her Everything of Disorder, it was like watching a mountain crack.

The pain at the heart of her existence…the loss of everyone she had loved to the demands of Order, the sacrifice of her entire lineage for the sake of maintaining what the Living Origins deed necessary…had been touched with deliberate precision!

Beside her, Noah's expression shifted from calm observation to sothing altogether more dangerous.

His eyes pulsed with light that suggested violence being carefully considered, weighed, and prepared.

Then, for the first ti since arriving at this gathering, his aura leaked out.

HUUM!

It wasn't an explosion of power, wasn't a dramatic display ant to intimidate.

It was simply the natural radiation of what he had beco…Duke-level authority that pressed against reality with weight that made existence reconsider its arrangents!

The revelation landed among the Living Origins.

Even Duke Whisker's eyes widened, his previous suspicions confird but the reality still shocking.

Duke Gwendolyn actually took a step back, her mind recalculating every interaction with this new information.

He had been a Duke all along!

Had sat there letting them wonder, letting them guess, letting them underestimate!

He had shown up before them as a re Originus Venerant Fold Dweller in Aeternitas Concordia!

The aura suggested he was about to act…not speak, not negotiate, but act with the kind of decisive violence that had carried him through impossible situations before.

But Sigrid shook her head lightly.

It was a small gesture, barely noticeable, but it carried volus of aning.

She knew he would decimate Folds for her. But this was her battle, her past, her pain to confront.

She would take care of it.

Her figure beca surrounded by waves of white-gold radiance that didn't erge from her but seed to be pulled from the very concept of Order itself.

She looked unfettered, glorious, and almost holy.

"When I was young," she began, each word precisely chosen, perfectly ordered, "my Ama used to take to the Minor Folds of Origin. Into Wheels of Existence that held extrely weak beings…creatures that had barely discovered consciousness, civilizations that thought fire and mana was the height of technology."

The mory painted itself in the air between them, not visible but sohow present.

"She would play a ga with there. 'How would you exert order and stability for those you do not know?' she would ask. 'How would you guide without controlling? How would you structure without strangling?'"

Sigrid's eyes grew distant, looking at sothing beyond the amphitheater, beyond the current mont.

"We would spend years in those Wheels, invisible observers as I learned to nudge rather than force, to suggest rather than demand. She taught to see how small changes could cascade into massive transformations. How a single mont of order at the right ti could save a civilization, while too much would destroy their capacity to grow."

Her voice softened with sothing that might have been fondness if it weren't so thoroughly mixed with loss.

"She would take to see newborn stars and show how they naturally sought stable orbits. To dying worlds to demonstrate how even entropy followed patterns. To civilizations at war to illustrate how conflict itself was a form of terrible order. Those... were so of the happiest days and years of my existence."

The admission hung in the air, vulnerable and powerful simultaneously!

Origin Ama Gias remained perfectly still, her white eyes unreadable, but sothing in her posture suggested she rembered those days too.

Then Sigrid's expression shifted, softness replaced by steel.

"Recently, I have had eye-opening experiences. Ti to think. Ti to know a bit more about existence than what I was taught, than what I was allowed to know." Her gaze moved across the assembled Origins, touching each of them with weight that made them want to look away.

"I sent a shred of myself to observe a place called the Infiniverse. A place that others may never have a chance to see, a structure that defies conventional understanding."

She locked her gaze on Origin Ama Gias, and the intensity of that connection made the air between them crystallize.

"There, I saw... Order."

HUUM!

The word landed with the force of revelation.

"I saw Order," she repeated, her voice gaining strength with each word. "True Order. Not the rigid structure we impose, not the desperate control we maintain, but genuine Order. Entities living without fear, without chaos trying to eat them from within, without the constant threat of dissolution. Just pure Order that arose naturally from proper foundation."

Her body began to shine with radiance that made the do of isolation tremble.

"And I told myself…that was what I wanted to achieve, was it not? That was what my family died for. What your daughter, Origin Ama, sacrificed everything to protect. So I had ti to think."

The light around her intensified, Order itself seeming to concentrate in her presence.

"For the sake of Order. For the sake of Origins. I would move along the sa path to accomplish what needed to be accomplished. What my family, as you have so kindly brought them up, gave their lives to accomplish."

The Origin Ama's beautiful features shifted minutely, sothing in her expression suggesting she sensed what was coming, that the trap she thought she was closing had sohow beco a door Sigrid was about to walk through!

But Sigrid continued, her words now carrying the weight of absolute declaration.

"Because of all that, I feel like my path is not to walk among the Living Origins."

HUUM!

The statent landed like reality itself cracking!

Duke Gwendolyn actually gasped! Other Dukes stepped back as if physical distance might protect them from the implications.

"My path," Sigrid continued, each word a nail in the coffin of expectation, "will establish Order, but not with the help of Living Origins."

BOOM!

The do of isolation trembled from the weight of what was being declared within it.

THE Living Order, the ultimate expression of their authority, their carefully cultivated weapon, their Young Miss…was rejecting them entirely!

Not betraying them. Not opposing them. Simply walking away from them as if they were irrelevant to her purpose!

Fucking irrelevant!
