Now reading: Chapter 4371 Collaboration and Civilizations II from Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse, a Action novel by Adui.

A simple and crude weave of Mana, but it was his!

He released the incomplete Weave and simply stood there, marveling at what had changed in a single day.

His power had risen tenfold compared to his old self. Ten tis stronger, ten tis more capable, ten tis more alive than he had been before The Ancestor appeared.

One day.

In one impossible, glorious day, everything had changed!

"Kael."

The voice cut through his contemplation with a gentle authority. The Ancestor's tone carried across the domain despite the distance, as if space itself had agreed to deliver the ssage personally.

Kael turned imdiately, his heart quickening from the reverence that ca from eting soone who had saved you and then given you tools to save yourself.

He found The Ancestor standing near the center of their settlent, surrounded by the soft glow of Mana that seed to follow him like atmosphere acknowledging its master.

"Ancestor," Kael said, bowing respectfully before approaching.

Noah, though Kael still thought of him primarily as The Ancestor, looked at him.

"All things here will be left for you to lead," Noah said simply, the statent landing like a crown being placed on shoulders that weren't sure they could bear its weight.

Kael's eyes widened. "Ancestor, I-"

Noah raised a hand gently, cutting off the protest before it could fully

form.

"You need to be careful," he continued, his tone becoming more serious. "Institute strict values for any newborns. For all generations that co after you. Not rely rules, but understanding. Not just commands, but wisdom that persists even after the reasons for it might beco unclear."

He stepped closer, and Kael felt the weight of those words settling over him.

"Instill in them the teachings of Mana I will instill in you. Show them the Way. Make them understand that this power isn't just strength-it's responsibility, it's purpose, it's the foundation of everything you're building here."

Noah's expression grew even more intense.

"But most critical of all...more important than any technique, any Weave, any advancent...is the reality of remaining isolated."

...!

The emphasis on that final word made Kael's breath pulse.

"Until I call upon you," Noah said with finality. "Until that mont, this domain is your entire existence. The outside world doesn't exist for you. Other beings, other conflicts, other opportunities...none of them matter. Only isolation. Only cultivation. Only preparation for the day when I will need you."

Kael nodded heavily, the responsibility settling over him. "I understand, Ancestor. I will ensure..."

"Co," Noah interrupted, his tone shifting slightly. "Gather everyone. It's ti for an infusion of Mana."

...!

Within minutes, the entire settlent had assembled. Forty-seven Fold Dwellers...no, not Fold Dwellers anymore, Kael corrected himself. They were sothing else now. Sothing more. Citizens of a

Civilization that didn't exist in any official records, followers of a Way that shouldn't be possible!

They gathered behind Kael, watching The Ancestor with expressions that mixed awe and gratitude

Noah stood before them all, and without preamble, without elaborate ritual or ceremony, he simply... released radiant sparkling blue waves.

Seas of Mana surged from him like tides that had been waiting eons for permission to flow. Blue brilliance washed over the assembled people endlessly, saturating them with energy so pure and concentrated that breathing it felt like drinking starlight.

The Fold Dwellers, the citizens of this hidden Civilization...gasped as they felt their Mana Loci expanding, their pathways widening, their capacities increasing beyond what they'd thought possible even after accepting The Ancestor's initial Sparks!

Kael watched The Ancestor with reverence and couldn't help but voice the question everyone was thinking.

"Ancestor... just how much Mana do you hold?"

The question seed almost heretical in its directness, but it had to

be asked!

The sheer volu of energy pouring from The Ancestor suggested reserves that defied all understanding of cultivation and capacity. Noah smiled but didn't answer directly, simply continuing the infusion until every person present was saturated, transford, elevated beyond their previous limitations.

In the days that followed, they stopped asking that question.

Eventually, they beca numb to it entirely.

The reserves of Mana from The Ancestor seed limitless. Truly, genuinely infinite in ways that made conventional understanding of power seem laughably inadequate.

Hours beca days. Days accumulated into a period of transformation that Kael knew would define the rest of his existence.

Everything he had known about Existence and power was being turned upside down, inside out, remade into sothing that made his previous understanding seem like a child's fairy tale compared to

brutal reality.

The Ancestor gave them power, and he showed them how to use it. How to shape it. How to build with it rather than simply throwing it

around hoping for results!

Mana Glyphs began forming among them. Simple ones at first, crude attempts at capturing intent in structured energy. But gradually, with The Ancestor's patient instruction and their own desperate practice, the Glyphs beca more refined.

And at this mont, standing in the training grounds they'd established, Kael heard the voices of children...children who days ago had been powerless, who had watched their parents forced to kneel, who had faced fates they couldn't fight against.

"Primordial Fireball!"

Three young voices called out in unison, and Mana Glyphs activated

around them. Small fireballs, nothing that would threaten anyone remotely powerful, but theirs!

And they manifested through their will rather than begged from existence or stolen from others.

Kael couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"Kael."

The Ancestor's voice again, but different this ti. Carrying

sothing that felt like... finality.

Everyone gathered quickly, sensing the shift in tone, understanding

that sothing significant was happening.

Noah looked at them all, his voice echoing out.

"My ti to leave has co."

...!

The unwillingness that appeared on their faces was heavy.

One of the children...a girl nad Lyn who had taken to Mana manipulation with natural talent that suggested she'd be formidable in years to co...ran forward and grabbed The Ancestor's robe with small hands that refused to let go.

"Ancestor, can't you just stay with us?" she asked

"Walk The Way together! We can all cultivate together, grow together,

be a Civilization together!"

The logic was simple, pure, and heartbreaking in its impossibility.

Noah knelt down to her level, his hand gently touching her head.

"We will walk the sa path," he said gently. "Just a little differently. I have my journey, and you have yours. The paths run parallel, but they

must remain separate for now."

He stood, addressing them all.

"I will see you all years from now. Many, many years. So many that you

might wonder if I've forgotten you, if the call will ever co, if this

isolation serves any purpose."

His voice beca firm.

"But understand this absolutely: only when I call for you can you

co out. Not before. Not if you think you're ready. Not if opportunity presents itself. Not if you face threats you think require outside help. Only when I call. Understood?"

They all nodded, so with tears in their eyes, others with determination burning so bright it made their newly ford Mana Loci pulse in response.

Noah's gaze found Kael, holding him with an intensity that conveyed everything that couldn't be said.

"Take care of this Civilization."

And then...

The Ancestor began to dissipate.

Not dying. Not leaving through normal ans of travel. Simply...

scattering into lights of pure Mana that drifted upward and dispersed into the atmosphere of their isolated domain.

Kael and the others watched in silence as their savior, their teacher,

their Ancestor disappeared into particles of blue brilliance that would linger in their territory forever, a constant reminder of what they'd been given and what they were ant to beco.

The silence stretched for several heartbeats after the last traces of

The Ancestor faded.

Then Kael turned to face his people, his voice booming out!

"Let us build the grand Civilization of The Ancestor!"

WAA!

The response was fierce. Voices rose in affirmation, fists pumped into

air crackling with Mana, eyes blazed with determination!

They would build.

They would cultivate.

They would remain isolated, hidden, preparing in secret for a call that

might not co for millions of years.

But when it ca...

When The Ancestor finally summoned them...

They would be ready!

And thus, a Civilization was seeded in the gaps between existence, in

the Wandering Territories where ti flowed differently and discovery was rely unlikely rather than impossible.

It would have ti. Millions upon millions of years of ti.

Ti to grow. Ti to evolve. Ti to beco sothing worthy of

the impossible foundation they'd been given!

As for what would bloom from it?
