The variations of Mana were unique in their versatility and applications.
With every Way he superseded and defeated, he could seamlessly mimic it as perfectly as the original. At this ti, Noah stood atop Lumivara as his massive Early Creature body was maintained, but instead of the poisonous green brilliance he had been displaying, The Way of Existence he now expressed was that of crackling purple lightning arcing across his entire form!
He had killed and devoured six entities so far since being separated from Tor. Two had followed the Way of Poison, two the Way of Fire, one the Way of Mass, and one the Way of Lightning.
And his Primus Mana continued to beco all that much more versatile as he could seamlessly mimic any of these Ways with complete authenticity.
Lumivara was genuinely astonished as she looked up at him from her position and asked with curious confusion, "Master, is your Way that of Mana, or Poison, or Lightning? You seem to shift between them so easily."
Noah replied with calm certainty, "Yes."
Lumivara blinked with incomprehension at such a simple answer.
"What does that an, Master?" she asked with adorable confusion.
Noah replied calmly as he gazed ahead at his next target in the distance, a massive behemoth-like creature that resembled a wooly mammoth of titanic proportions.
"The spark you consud showed you Mana and how your Light could be ever so glorious through proper understanding of its foundation," he explained with teaching patience. "My Mana can observe and mimic other Ways because I only follow Mana at its core, but I am also potentially following Everything since Mana has infinite variations and expressions."
His reply carried terrifying implications as he focused his perception on the 88 Decillion Mammoth in the distance. The creature pulsed with the Way of Defense, its entire existence dedicated to becoming impenetrable.
Noah observed analytically how this was a unique conceptual Way rather than an elental one. Defense as an abstract principle rather than a physical manifestation.
So he chose to express Lightning for this encounter specifically for an extrely quick and penetrative result against this enemy.
And he could have chosen to manifest a bow or spear as the delivery chanism for his long-range strike as he had done before. But he had more variations available to explore, and he could always try newer applications of his versatile Mana!
So he looked down at the visage of Lumivara beneath him and asked with asured curiosity, "What do you think for sothing designed for long-range devastation? A bow? A spear? A sniper rifle? Or perhaps a ballista? A nuclear warhead?"
Lumivara blinked with confusion at several of those terms.
"I am not familiar with so of those weapons, Master," she admitted honestly. "But the ballista seems interesting from how you said it?"
Noah smiled at her words. There were many applications of Mana he could experint with in the future, weapons and tools from his mories of the blue planet and beyond.
But for now, he would indulge her curiosity.
A massive ballista began to form in the air above Lumivara, materializing from compressed lightning-infused Mana! The weapon was easily twice Noah’s current transford size and pulsed dangerously with concentrated purple arcs of electricity that crackled with lethal intent.
Noah made a deliberate pulling motion with his hands, and a terrifying oversized arrow ford on the ballista. He poured imnse waves of his Way of Mana and Hunger into the projectile, compressing it further and further.
He already had the True Expression of The Sovereignty of Mana and Hunger active from consuming an Unquantifiable Unit of Everything, so the arrow blazed with overwhelming authority!
Below him, Lumivara’s eyes shone with awe and genuine marvel as she watched this terrifying weapon being prepared for release!
Noah looked at the distant mammoth with coldness as he spoke.
"Mana is the foundation of all interactions and changes in existence," he said with tyrannical certainty. "Defense is rely the resistance to change, the attempt to maintain a static state against external forces. But resistance requires energy, and that energy cos from Mana itself."
His eyes glead.
"So how can Defense powered by Mana ever truly stop an attack that asserts Mana’s dominion over that very defense? The defender. is using my foundation against , which ans I simply need to reclaim what is mine."
His logic was absolute in its confidence.
"And Hunger consus all things, including the concept of protection itself. Defense cannot stand against the combination of these truths."
HUUM!
Then he released the ballista bolt!
The seemingly impenetrable massive Mammoth ca to sudden attention as it sensed the incoming threat. Its body imdiately shone with a brilliant bronze glow of concentrated defensive power, layers upon layers of protection manifesting instantly!
The creature had survived this long by making itself nearly invulnerable, and its instincts activated perfectly.
But it did not matter.
BOOM!
The ballista arrow struck with apocalyptic force! The purple lightning-infused projectile punched straight through the bronze defensive layers as if they were paper!
The Mammoth’s body was shot through and through, a massive hole carved from front to back! Crimson-gold blood spurted out in torrents as the creature’s Way of Defense collapsed entirely!
Noah looked at the scene with cold satisfaction as he already opened his jaw unnaturally wide. He beckoned toward the massive corpse, and it flew toward him through compressed space to be consud!
Lumivara watched with cheerful excitent as her Master claid another victory!
"The Master is very strong! The Master is the best!" she said with genuine enthusiasm. "Nothing could possibly take you down when you fight with such overwhelming-"
Before she could even finish such words of praise, both her and Noah’s expressions rapidly changed as they sensed sothing approaching!
HUUM!
Near them, a glimr of white brilliance flared with sudden intensity! An entity radiating ecstatic power at the Pre-THE level appeared, materializing from concealnt!
Her gaze was cold and callous as she looked at Noah and the fox he was mounted on with contempt and disdain!
In the picosecond where the Ambient Integration had been disrupted while Noah was decimating his enemy, a creature at Pre-THE had found their location!
Noah’s gaze beca ice-cold as he recognized this entity imdiately. She was one of the twelve Pre-THE existences that THE Ti Surfer had brought with her, one of those actively hunting for him!
But she should in no way be able to recognize him in his current disguised state as...
The Pre-THE existence spoke with contemptuous disgust in her voice.
"I was wondering what that flickering Sovereignty of Light I sensed earlier was," she said while looking directly at Lumivara with hatred. "It seems to be a pathetic thing with no backbone that is acting as a mount for another? How utterly disgraceful."
Her eyes blazed with righteous fury.
"Let put you out of your fucking misery. A creature like you does not deserve to walk The Way of Light!"
HUUM!
The mont she said such words with absolute conviction, this being of utterly terrible power that Noah was not ready for and could not currently decimate made her move!
She was at the level of Pre-THE Existences with her Sovereignty much more established than the creatures Noah had been hunting. She had made trendous progress toward THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty!
A status sheet flashed before Noah’s vision with alarming details.
