She waved her hand dismissively.
"But really, what are you doing here again when you have to focus on not getting collapsed by an Absolute? Splitting your attention too much, especially while facing an Absolute, could also have detrintal consequences for you."
She said such words as if she was actually concerned about him.
Noah knew otherwise.
But he knew of the information hidden within her deflection. Different Absolutes had different capabilities. Different limitations. What affected one might not affect another.
He looked toward the entrance of the Stoa of Dogmata as he continued speaking.
"When I was moving around in The Earliest Folds, I caught the gaze of a particular tyrant who was curious enough about to send his curiosity to nearly collapse and my people so ti ago."
His eyes burned with rembered fury.
"I made a promise back then that I would get him back. And he should be..."
HUUM!
Just as his words were finishing, space in the distance fluctuated!
Reality tore and reford as sothing powerful forced its way into the Stoa of Dogmata! The ancient pillars trembled slightly. The inscriptions of Dogmata flickered with recognition of a new presence.
And a mont later...
Gilgash appeared!
The First Leader!
His figure was glorious and imposing, radiating authority that made the surrounding atmosphere compress. His form was humanoid but idealized, as if soone had taken the concept of "leader" and given it flesh. Golden armor adorned his body in patterns that spoke of conquest and dominion. His eyes were sharp, calculating, filled with the intelligence of one who had commanded legions since before most civilizations existed.
He looked around with those sharp eyes, assessing his surroundings with the caution of a veteran who had survived countless conflicts.
...!
Either he had followed the trail of the chase between Noah and THE Weavers, or THE Weavers had purposefully left a trail that brought him here!
He would have likely gone in and entered THE Agora of Primordial Judgnt to continue his pursuit.
But Noah had other plans.
At this mont, he looked toward Gilgash calmly!
Because at this mont, he was doing a little thing the kids liked to call... divide and conquer.
The mont Gilgash appeared, he locked his eyes on Noah!
And Noah looked back calmly.
"You were looking for this whole ti, big guy."
His voice carried across the Stoa with steady confidence.
"You were curious about since The Earliest Folds. At this mont, I wish to close off this curiosity."
BOOM!
THE Fundantal Depth of Gilgash burned with imperious brilliance!
His aura exploded outward, pressing against reality with the weight of countless victories and endless ambition! The pillars of the Stoa groaned under the pressure! The inscriptions of Dogmata blazed brighter as if responding to the challenge being issued!
And shockingly...
His eyes or gaze did not even turn toward THE Secretive Eon even once.
As if he did not know that she even existed here.
Noah only noted this with veiled interest.
Had this ridiculous being actually made herself imperceptible to anyone else right now? It seed that Gilgash genuinely unaware that an Absolute sat re miles away, watching this confrontation unfold with amused curiosity.
Well.
That was more than okay.
This was between him and Gilgash.
Noah looked toward the First Leader as behind Gilgash, golden pools of brilliance began to form like black holes in reverse! Vibrant tips of weapons began to edge out one after another from those pools! Spears and swords and axes and hamrs, each one burning with imnse Depth and power!
The glory of the First Leader!
Gilgash nodded slowly as he observed Noah’s calm deanor.
"I have been curious."
His voice was deep and resonant, carrying the weight of one who had commanded armies since before ti learned to count.
"I detest that my Weavings and my existence have been led by THE Living Paradox and THE Weavers. I detest that a being like , a leader among glorious leaders, has been moving under the commands of another."
Sothing flickered in his sharp eyes.
"I actually envy you a little, Osmont."
The words ca with surprising honesty.
"Nobody commands you to do this or that. You decide for yourself how you go about things. Like how you decided to be here right now, however foolish that may be."
His lips curved into sothing that was almost a smile.
"For that, I am truly envious."
HUUM!
His Depth spilled out gloriously!
The air of Unity and Paradox radiated all around him, the dual nature of his allegiance manifesting in visible auras that pressed against reality! Weavings of The First Tongue began to bloom over all of his erging weapons, linguistic authority coating each blade and spear with enhanced lethality!
At this sight...
Noah’s eyes flashed dangerously.
"You fucking bum."
His voice ca out domineeringly and commandingly.
"Did I say you could use The First Tongue?"
BOOM!
His words carried the weight of absolute authority!
The Thesis that had not been denied since Muspelheim was applied to Gilgash!
None who oppose THE Genesis Monarch may utilize The First Tongue!
The effect was imdiate and devastating!
The weapons erging from Gilgash’s golden gates dimd greatly! The linguistic authority coating them flickered and died! The Weavings of The First Tongue that had been blooming across his arsenal simply... stopped!
He was cut off!
And the Way he expressed beca noticeably dimr!
His aura, which had burned with the combined authority of Unity and Paradox enhanced by The First Tongue, now burned with only its base components. Still powerful. Still dangerous. But noticeably reduced from what it had been monts before.
And yet...
Even when such a thing happened, the figure of Gilgash actually began to smile more and more!
An air of brutality and wonder perated around his skin!
He laughed!
The sound was deep and genuine, filled with the excitent of one who had finally found a worthy challenge after eons of predictable victories!
The paradoxical light around him beca more and more intense, his remaining authority surging to compensate for what had been stripped away!
"Good!"
His voice bood across the Stoa.
"You are the real thing!"
His eyes blazed with sothing that looked almost like joy.
"I have always wanted to break away from Paradox and THE Weavers. Today, at this ti, I pit every ounce of my Depth and being here!"
He raised his arms, and the weapons in his golden gates surged forward despite their diminished state!
"I lay all that Gilgash is... I lay all those I have led and all my accomplishnts on this fight!"
His aura exploded to its maximum intensity!
"I either co out the other side glorious and with your Claim beneath my feet, or the na and the legend of Gilgash shall stop here now!"
His smile beca sothing feral and beautiful.
"It can only be one or the other!"
HUUM!
The words were gloriously heavy and imposing!
After they were said, Noah looked at this being and nodded lightly.
Behind him, a magnificent blue-gold Seal began to rise.
THE Absolute Seal of Infinity!
It burned with patterns of boundlessness that made space itself groan! Endless designs conveyed the concept it represented, and the weight it carried pressed against Gilgash’s aura with force that demanded acknowledgnt!
"Then fight."
Noah’s voice ca calm and certain.
"Because this... will be the last fight of your existence."
...!
The Stoa of Dogmata trembled as two powers prepared to collide!
In the distance, unseen by Gilgash but fully visible to Noah, THE Secretive Eon watched with eyes that sparkled with genuine interest.
She had her chin resting on her hand.
She was smiling!
