THE Living Emotive stood between THE Undivided One and her fallen companion, her colorful hair blazing with authority as she released Embodint after Embodint against the approaching horror.
|Emotions are the foundation of existence! Fear shall beco my weapon, and the fear you feel at facing an Absolute shall consu you!|
BOOM!
Her Embodint crashed against the winged lion with force that would have devastated any weak Absolute!
THE Undivided One didn’t even slow down.
It passed through her Embodint as if it were mist, its serpent-mane hissing with amusent at her attempt to weaponize its emotions. This creature had existed since before emotions were differentiated from raw experience. It did not know fear. It only knew hunger.
Emotive released another Embodint, and another, her voice growing more desperate amd grand with each Embodint that failed to halt the approaching predator.
"Rage shall beco a wall! Fury shall beco a shield! The intensity of my passion shall-"
BOOM!
THE Undivided One’s paw swiped through her Embodint and caught her across the torso, sending her tumbling down the mountainside with force that cracked the ancient stone beneath her impact.
She looked up at THE Creature’s temple with fury and desperation blazing in her eyes.
"CREATURE! HELP US!"
Her voice rang across Alfheimr with the weight of an Absolute’s full attention.
THE Creature remained in his temple, his multicolored flas burning steadily as he looked at THE Undivided One and THE Formless Terror approaching his position. The words of Emotive rang in his ears, demanding response, demanding action, demanding that he save her from the horror that was about to devour her.
But...
He spoke with a voice that held the authority of Existence itself.
"Adversity is good for your existence."
His tone was calm, almost gentle.
"See if you can get out of it yourself first."
...!
Below the mountain, Emotive’s expression transford from desperation into absolute rage. THE Undivided One was approaching her fallen position with leisurely pace, savoring the mont before consumption. Elental lay nearby, trembling with pain that he couldn’t suppress, unable to contribute anything to their defense.
"YOU...!"
Emotive’s voice burned with fury that transcended her usual manic energy.
"If I die, I will haunt you endlessly, O Creature! I will haunt you! I will-"
THE Creature was no longer listening.
His attention had turned fully to THE Undivided One and THE Formless Terror that approached his temple with hunger written across every aspect of their being. The serpent-dragon’s seven heads all oriented toward him with anticipation. THE Formless Terror churned with increased intensity as it drew closer to prey that radiated more authority than anything it had encountered in eons.
They looked at THE Creature hungrily.
They saw an Absolute surrounded by multicolored flas.
They saw a al beyond anything they had consud before!
They did not see what THE Creature truly was.
THE Creature spoke a single asly Embodint.
"Existence...acknowledges my grasp."
The words were simple. Almost casual. They held none of the elaborate declarations that other Absolutes used, none of the lengthy descriptions of authority and power that Embodints typically contained.
And yet.
BOOM!
THE Creature stretched his hands outward from his temple, his multicolored flas extending with them as his authority pressed against reality with weight that defied comprehension.
The serpent-dragon, whose coiled body stretched for miles across the corrupted proto-matter, suddenly found itself shrinking. Not shrinking in the sense of becoming smaller, but shrinking in the sense of being compressed, being contained, being forced into a space that its existence should not have been able to occupy.
THE Formless Terror, whose churning mass had no fixed boundaries, suddenly found those boundaries being defined against its will. It was being given form. It was being forced into shape. It was being compressed alongside the serpent-dragon with authority that brooked no resistance.
Both of them ended up in THE Creature’s palm.
THE Undivided One that had been miles long now fit within his grasp. THE Formless Terror that had been an ocean of potential now occupied the space between his fingers. They writhed and struggled and released authority that should have devastated everything around them, but THE Creature’s definition of existence overwrote their definitions entirely.
He was the glimr of Existence.
They existed only because he permitted it.
And now, he chose not to permit it.
THE Creature squeezed.
The sound that erged was not a sound at all, but rather the absence of sound where existence was being unmade. The serpent-dragon’s seven heads scread silently as their forms compressed beyond what any form could sustain. THE Formless Terror churned with desperate intensity as the chaos that comprised its being was forced into order, into structure, into definition that it had never possessed and could not survive.
They beca mush in his palm.
THE Undivided One and THE Formless Terror, beings that had existed since before THE Infinite Unfurling, beca nothing more than paste squeezed between THE Creature’s fingers. Their authority, their power, their eons of accumulated existence, all of it compressed into sothing that could be held in a single hand.
THE Creature brought that hand to his mouth.
He threw what remained of their existence past his lips with casual grace, consuming the paste of two primordial entities as if it were nothing more than a light snack. His multicolored flas burned brighter for a mont as he absorbed what they had been, adding their weight to his own already incomprehensible foundations.
His figure continued to be shrouded with multicolored flas as he did such a thing, his expression never changing from its calm composure. This was not a battle to him. This was not even an inconvenience. This was simply maintenance, the removal of pests that had wandered too close.
Below the mountain, Emotive yelled out for him again as THE Undivided One drew closer to her position.
But THE Undivided One that was attacking her had frozen in place.
Its serpent-mane had stopped hissing.
Its wings had stopped beating.
Its eyes, which had held hunger monts before, now held sothing else entirely as they gazed upward at THE Creature’s temple.
Fear...blood.
THE Undivided One had just watched two beings of equivalent power and origin...beco paste in THE Creature’s palm. It had just witnessed an Absolute demonstrate power that exceeded anything it had encountered in its entire existence!
Very few understood the power of THE Creature.
Very few... understood his Imnsity.
