Now reading: Chapter 4976: Master and Disciple II from Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse, a Action novel by Adui.

He looked grand and wild and unkempt and glorious, like a peasant who had sohow found his way to a king’s feast and was devouring everything before anyone could remove him. He looked like THE Living Paradox should look!

When THE Primordial Paradox arrived, when his regal feline Effigy manifested in the skies of THE Prima Indifferentia with paradoxical Infinities raging around its form, Erwin looked over from his al with eyes that held no fear.

They shone with recognition, with complex emotion that exceeded simple categorization. He actually nodded with respect that seed genuine despite everything between them.

"Master. It has been quite so ti."

...!

THE Primordial Paradox looked over at his disciple with eyes that shone with their own complex light, his regal Effigy settling into stillness above them while its blue-gold starred fur pulsed with Infinite progression that matched the rhythm of his thoughts.

He observed the collapsed Primordial Architect and the consumption that was still occurring and the mixture of corruption and Infinity that his disciple was utilizing to amplify everything.

"It has been so ti, my disciple. You seem to be going wild nowadays, filled with endless ambition that I never would have expected."

His eyes fixed on the Kongamato’s corpse with appreciation.

"I never would have pegged my disciple to be killing Primordial Architects, and for you to even be elevating your harvest with Paradox and Infinity, you have grown into soone I can be very proud of."

...!

A complex expression appeared on Erwin’s face as the recognition shifted into sothing more complicated, the history between them pressing against the mont. He actually sighed with indignation that held genuine grievance beneath its theatrical surface.

"Master, you do not understand just how hard your peasant disciple has had it. Even now, while I am making all of these advancents in harvests, soone else will actually benefit from this."

He gestured at the Primordial Architect’s corpse with frustration that exceeded the gravity of what he was consuming.

"Soone you should know, as it seems you have taken Boundless Infinity from him. I am barely keeping it reigned in right now, and that guy who helped you co out will actually get a portion of my harvest." His eyes flickered with sothing between annoyance and grudging respect as he spread his hands with theatrical despair. "How crazy is that? A peasant like has to work really hard."

...!

THE Primordial Paradox actually laughed, the sound booming across THE Prima Indifferentia with weight that pressed against the corrupted proto-matter surrounding them.

It was genuine laughter!

He looked around at the chaos of this space, at the corruption and the Infinities and the collapsed Primordial Architect and his disciple who had apparently been killing beings that most Absolutes couldn’t even perceive.

He smiled with an expression that held pride beneath its paradoxical nature.

"How unique it is that at this point in ti, my Paradox and your Paradox are both influenced with Infinity. But never mind that, my disciple, it has been such a long ti."

His eyes t Erwin’s with directness that exceeded everything else.

"But I must ask. Do you want to talk first, or do you want to fight?"

...!

THE Living Paradox smiled back at his master, but then his expression shifted into sothing that held concern beneath its surface as he looked toward the being who had taught him everything about contradiction, who had shaped his understanding of impossibility, who had been betrayed by the very lessons he had taught.

And he saw sothing that made his theatrical persona fade into sothing more genuine.

"Teacher, you have beco a bit old and feeble, and I would feel bad attacking an old man like you right away." His voice carried care that exceeded re words.

"Let’s have you be comfortable first, and we can talk. Hey, we can even share a al, and for the first ti in eons, I can serve you again just like I used to."

His eyes held sothing that might have been nostalgia, and might have been grief, or might have been love for a teacher whose claim he had consud.

"A disciple once, a disciple always. A teacher once, a teacher for life. Please, let your disciple serve you a al one last ti."

...!

THE Primordial Paradox watched as his disciple carved out a portion of the collapsed Primordial Architect with care that exceeded what the violent consumption had suggested, the portion offered with hands that held respect beneath their ragged appearance. And THE Primordial Paradox accepted.

The two of them actually sat opposite each other cordially, master and disciple, teacher and student, the one who had been betrayed and the one who had done the betraying.

They sat across from each other in THE Prima Indifferentia with the corpse of a Primordial Architect between them, with corruption and Infinity swirling around them.

It was a ridiculous scene to see!

THE Living Paradox moved seriously to set up the portions for his master, arranging the carved essence with attention of genuine care and positioning the al with formality that exceeded what his peasant persona typically displayed.

He served his teacher one last ti with reverence that contradicted everything else about their relationship.

And in the region around them, in this place where THE Prima Indifferentia’s chaos should have dominated everything, sothing else had long since begun to rage with intensity that exceeded the surrounding corruption.

Unfathomably dense Paradoxes filled with Countable Infinities stord around their peaceful al, the geodesic Embodint THE Primordial Paradox had spoken still extending endlessly along its natural paths. Now, with both master and disciple present, with both Paradoxes existing in the sa space, the density of contradiction exceeded anything THE Prima Indifferentia had witnessed.

Blue-gold light mixed with obsidian-gold patterns as Bounded Countable expressions intertwined with unbounded paradoxical currents, and master and disciple sat peacefully within a storm that could have unmade lesser existences entirely.

They ate and they talked of old tis, reminiscing of the past they shared as they prepared for what would co next, because this al was exactly what THE Living Paradox had called it between them.

The last one.
