Now reading: Chapter 4998: Research II from Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse, a Action novel by Adui.

The information was too grand.

So grand that...

The sparkling blue lights all around Noah began converging behind him with purpose that seed almost codic in its timing. They gathered and compressed and solidified into shape that had no business existing in this mont of existential revelation.

A chair.

The endless Infinity he now conducted had ford a chair behind him, and Noah fell onto it.

He had to sit down for this!

He genuinely had to sit down for this!

The Four Aspects of the Oldest Paradox of Existence. THE First Tongue. Existence. Chaos. Paradox.

They were the Keys of Civilization!

He had laid a Claim on Mana. On THE First Tongue. He had forged Phones and studied Logos and Philology and Archai and built his advancent around the linguistic architecture of Observable Existence. That was his path. That was his foundation. That was what he had believed defined his relationship with Infinity.

But before he did all of that, he had Infinity.

Before THE First Tongue. Before the Keys. Before the classifications and the thodologies and all the structures that beings used to understand how power worked.

He had Infinity.

THE Beholder was saying that he rejected the idea of the Four Aspects. That why would Infinity rely be sothing expressed through THE First Tongue? That during THE First Cause, Infinity was there.

By itself.

Without any expression through anything else!

...!

DUM!

Noah felt the beat of his heart again, heavy and grounding, as he thought about everything this implied.

If Infinity was its own grand thing by itself. Its own Civilization. Its own wonder that was not just expressed through THE First Tongue but existed independent of all expression entirely.

Did that not truly an that it was THE Civilization that could beco any Civilization?

He had just managed to wield Paradox by conducting Infinity. He had not spoken Phones. He had not invoked linguistic architecture. He had simply directed the endless sea toward an Aspect, and the Aspect had responded.

Could he...

Noah looked at his hand.

Skin, fingers, and lines across his palm that fortune tellers in his old world might have claid held aning. Mundane. Finite. Human in the most basic sense of what that word ant.

And yet.

"O Chaos."

HUUM!

From above his palm, endless blue light began to gather with responsiveness that felt eager, that felt almost excited to demonstrate what was now possible. The blue compressed and darkened and transford, shifting from the radiance of Infinity into sothing else entirely.

Obsidian light.

Chaotic obsidian light that churned with patterns that defied prediction, that moved in ways that contradicted themselves, that existed in states of constant flux without ever settling into stability.

It blood around Noah with majesty that exceeded anything he had consciously designed.

A black dahlia.

The flower ford from pure Chaos, its petals dark as the void between stars, its structure impossibly intricate. Each petal held endless rivers of obsidian flowing across its makeup, currents of Chaos that moved through the flower’s architecture like blood through veins. The dahlia surrounded Noah completely, massive and terrible and beautiful.

Noah looked at it srizingly.

He had not claid Chaos. He had simply directed Infinity toward that Aspect, and Infinity had expressed it because Infinity could express anything.

DUM!

His heart was pounding now.

More and more with each beat.

Simultaneously, he raised his left hand. His lips trembled as he spoke.

"Existence."

HUUM!

Blue light blood above his other hand and transford with the sa eager responsiveness, shifting from endless potential into specific expression. But where Chaos had beco obsidian darkness, this beca radiant multicolored light that held every shade Observable Existence had ever produced.

The light rose upward from his palm.

It expanded and structured itself and beca sothing grand.

A Dyson sphere.

Vibrant and beautiful, the multicolored construct represented Civilization itself made manifest. It was not a physical structure but a conceptual one, a sphere that contained the idea of what Civilization ant when taken to its ultimate expression. Worlds within worlds. Systems within systems. Life supporting life supporting life in endless cycles of existence perpetuating itself.

The sphere rotated slowly above his left hand, representing an imnse Civilization that could have housed everything that had ever lived or would ever live.

...!

Noah was breathless.

But he kept going.

He could not stop now. He had to see. He had to know. He had to feel what this new understanding truly ant for everything he was and everything he could beco.

"O Paradox. O Mana!"

HUUM!

The phenona that blood behind him exceeded even what had co before.

In glorious blue-gold radiance, countless Phones began arranging themselves with purpose that spoke of THE First Tongue recognizing its own nature being invoked. The linguistic symbols of Observable Existence gathered and structured and beca an endless book that stretched out behind Noah’s seated form.

Endless pages filled with Phones that had been written and Phones that had yet to be conceived. The book extended infinitely in all directions, containing all language that was and all language that could be, THE First Tongue made manifest as the dium through which reality expressed itself.

And beside it, intertwined with it, an endless gold and obsidian Mobius strip.

Paradox given form.

The strip twisted through dinsions that should not have permitted its geotry, a surface that had only one side and one edge despite appearing to have two of each. Gold and obsidian flowed across its surface in patterns that contradicted themselves, that existed and did not exist, that were true and false simultaneously.

THE First Tongue and Infinity were represented.

And Chaos and Existence and Paradox surrounded him.

Noah had conjured it all in one sitting.

"..."

It hung around him brilliantly at this mont in ti. The black dahlia of Chaos with its rivers of obsidian. The multicolored Dyson sphere of Existence rotating with the weight of all Civilization. The endless Grimoire of THE First Tongue stretching infinitely. The Mobius strip of Paradox twisting through impossible geotry.

All of it responding to his direction.

All of it expressed through the Infinity he conducted rather than contained.

He could only look at it.

No prompts ca because he did not want them to co. He wanted to be in this mont. He wanted to feel this Existence, this Paradox, this Chaos, this First Tongue. He wanted to exist within this unbelievable wonder that surrounded him and understand what it ant that he could produce it.

He wanted to just feel.

So he did.

In the distance, across spans of space that should have prevented any observation, THE Beholder watched.

The geotric fragnts surrounding that ancient eye had expanded to their widest configuration, as if even a being who had existed since before differentiation needed to see more clearly what was occurring. The luminous core at the center of THE Beholder’s form blazed with brightness it had not displayed in eons.

After so long.

After billions upon billions of years of observation.

It was finally looking at sothing radiant. Sothing brilliant. Sothing that reminded it of that age of pure potential before complexity erged to limit what existence could be.

THE Beholder spoke, and its voice carried across the Wandering Territories.

"In the age of nothingness, potential had no form because form had not yet been conceived. Infinity was not a path or a thodology or an aspect of sothing greater. It was simply the nature of what existed before existence learned to have boundaries."

The eye focused upon Noah with attention.

"What you display now is barely even the beginning of comprehension. But it is sothing I have not witnessed since that age ended and differentiation began its work of limiting what had been limitless."

The geotric fragnts rotated with deliberate slowness.

THE Beholder’s voice deepened with significance.

"You are beginning to go to the Civilization of Infinity itself. As what Infinity has always been and what complex life has always failed to perceive because perception itself requires limitation that Infinity does not possess. At this mont, you can be considered to have begun truly walking upon THE Civilization of Infinity."
