In THE Prima Indifferentia.

The storms of corrupted paradoxical proto-matter raged beyond the white barrier with violence accumulated since THE Living Paradox had initiated his flooding of this ancient space.

Blue-gold light from Infinite Seals mingled with the corruption, creating phenona that would have unmade lesser beings simply through proximity. Undivided Ones burned or prospered in that chaos, and Formless Terrors churned with instability amplified by the paradoxical nature pressing against their already confused existences.

But within the circular region emanating from the white tree, absolute calm prevailed.

THE Arboreal Warden Yggvaros sat alone near that tree whose bark glead with light holding no color yet containing all colors simultaneously.

THE Creature had departed so ti ago, returning to whatever conflict currently demanded his attention in Observable Existence. The conversation they had shared lingered in Yggvaros’s contemplation, but he found himself drawn toward deeper considerations than the fate of one ambitious defector from classification.

The white tree pulsed gently behind him, its dinsions continuing to vary with each observation. One mont it appeared a ter tall, the next it stretched toward horizons that did not exist in this place. Its branches followed geotric rules not yet differentiated from pure mathematical potential, and its roots disappeared into ground that was not ground in any conventional sense.

Yggvaros reached down and grasped a simple stick from the golden earth beneath him.

The vibrant gold soil responded to his touch with warmth accumulated since before THE Infinite Unfurling, and he began to draw.

His movents were deliberate, each stroke of the stick pressing into that ancient earth with purpose refined across eons of contemplation. A circle took shape before him, its circumference perfect despite the crude tool producing it.

He divided the circle into four equal sections with two intersecting lines.

In the first section, he wrote a single word: Chaos.

In the second: Paradox.

In the third: Existence.

In the fourth: The First Tongue.

The Four Aspects of the Oldest Paradox of Existence stared up at him from the golden earth, their arrangent familiar to any being who had studied the foundations of Civilization. These were the Keys that unlocked advancent, the authorities from which all other authorities derived, the paths that countless beings across Observable Existence walked in pursuit of power they could barely comprehend.

Yggvaros continued drawing.

From the circle’s edge, he extended branching lines outward, each one reaching toward a singular point in the distance. The lines converged as they stretched away from the Four Aspects, narrowing toward sothing that existed beyond the classifications most beings understood. A singularity where all paths t, where all advancent culminated, where the true nature of power revealed itself to those capable of perceiving it.

He placed a question mark at that convergence point.

For a long mont, he simply stared at what he had drawn, his features shifting between presence and absence as they always did for beings existing at the intersection of differentiation and undifferentiation. Then he erased the question mark with a sweep of his crystallized hand and wrote sothing else in its place.

Scale of Existence?

The words pressed into the golden earth with weight befitting their implications.

And on the branching lines leading from the circle toward that distant singularity, he began adding labels. On one line, he wrote Infinity, the symbols glowing faintly with authority borrowed from the concept itself.

On another line, parallel but distinct, he wrote Primordial Source, and those symbols seed to resist being written at all, as if the very act of naming this thing was presumptuous.

...!

Yggvaros paused in his drawing, the stick hovering above the golden earth as contemplation deeper than most beings could comprehend settled over his features.

"Existence churns as it has always, and those who seek power grasp at straws they believe will carry them toward the hub."

His voice erged asured, each word chosen with precision accumulated across cycles beyond counting. He spoke to no one but himself, yet his words carried weight pressing against the calm region around him.

"The Four Aspects serve their purpose well enough for those walking toward THE First Scale, toward the foundations of Civilization that most beings consider the pinnacle of achievent. Chaos and Paradox and Existence and The First Tongue, each one offering paths and thodologies and expressions of authority. Those who master them rise. Those who fail to grasp them fall. This has repeated since differentiation first taught existence how to have boundaries."

He looked down at the diagram he had drawn with eyes burning older than Prima Indifferentia itself.

"But those who reach THE Second Scale, or those who rely attempt the journey, soon discover a truth that the lower classifications cannot perceive. The Four Aspects are not the final and grandest source of power. They are expressions of sothing deeper, channels through which greater authorities flow into forms that mortal comprehension can process."

His stick tapped the word Infinity on the golden earth.

"This is one of those greater authorities. Infinity, that endless potential which existed before THE First Cause decided that boundaries should exist. It is hard to grasp, for how does one grasp sothing without termination? How does one contain sothing that refuses containnt? And yet it is easy to understand in principle. Sequences extending forever. Density approaching limits that cannot be reached. The absence of ending in any direction one chooses to look."

His stick moved to tap the words Primordial Source.

"This is the other. And unlike Infinity, it is neither easy to grasp nor easy to understand. What is THE Primordial Source? Where does it originate? How does one access authority that predates the very concepts of access and authority?"

Yggvaros set down his stick and folded his hands before him with a posture speaking of patience refined across eons.

"Those who begin utilizing aspects of Infinity find their path toward the next Scale illuminated in ways they did not anticipate. The endless nature of that authority resonates with sothing fundantal in existence itself, sothing that recognizes kindred nature and responds accordingly. Without Infinity or THE Primordial Source flowing through one’s foundations, advancent beyond THE First Scale is not rely difficult, but impossible..."
