He turned to look at Naldine directly.

"That is sothing I would really like to know."

He extended multicolored light toward her form, his authority reaching out to include her awareness within this expanded perception. Her eyes gained cognizance as she was pulled into this mont stretched toward infinity, her frozen expression shifting into animation as she processed what had just occurred.

She observed the landscape around them, observed Grimvault’s smile suspended in brutal configuration, observed everything held in stillness while the two of them moved freely through perception that had been extended beyond normal paraters.

"Hey."

Noah’s voice erged again, this ti directed entirely at her.

"You know about this Silurian Light, yes? We have a mont stretching out toward infinity here."

His eyes held hers with intensity that refused to acknowledge impossibility.

"Teach it to ."

...!

Naldine looked at him as if he were insane.

She observed the frozen landscape that was really their perception, observed Grimvault’s massive form suspended mid-mockery, observed everything that should have been moving held in stillness by an ability she had not known Noah possessed.

"Such a thing is impossible."

Her voice erged with frustration that pressed against the stillness surrounding them.

"To even sense THE Pulses of The Scales, Calymmian Proterozoic Scale entities have the imnsity of existence. The number of Bones, Organs, and developnt of their Civilizations. You cannot even perceive the Pulses, much less try to utilize one."

She stepped closer to him within this frozen mont.

"I did not tell you because it would hold no aning to you. I did not think you would seek conflict and adversity to co across any Calymmian Proterozoic Scale entity so soon. I expected to have ti with you and introduce everything else to you properly."

Her extraordinary visage maintained its imperious allure, but she showed her frustration at this ti openly.

"But you will not fucking sit still!"

...!

Noah remained looking at her calmly as she vented frustrations that had apparently been building since she first encountered him.

His expression held none of the contrition her words should have provoked. He had brought this situation upon himself through choices that prioritized advancent over safety, through decisions that drew enemies who possessed capabilities he could not match. He had known what he was doing. He had done it anyway!

And now he required tools to survive what he had provoked.

His voice erged with certainty that refused to acknowledge the impossibility she had described.

"Teach. ."

...!

---

The corpses were gone.

Where three Proterozoic Scale Primordial Architects had once lain in configurations of death around THE Creature’s throne, only bloodstains remained. The armored scales of Horus had been consud. The script-covered flesh of the second had been devoured. The elegant form of the third had been absorbed into foundations that continued growing despite having surpassed what most beings could comprehend.

THE Creature sat in the sa position he had occupied throughout his feast, but his body now buzzed with resplendent multicolored brilliance that pressed outward against everything within range. The flas surrounding his form burned brighter than before, fed by Proterozoic Bones and Organs that had been broken down into their constituent authorities and integrated into his existence. Every cell of his being radiated power that made the darkness of this domain seem insufficient to contain him.

He had consud three Second Scale entities in their entirety.

He had added their strength to his own.

And he remained hungry.

Even though Grimvault had dispersed the illusory screens across Observable Existence to prevent knowledge of what was occurring in that distant battle in THE Wastes, this domain between Observable and Unobservable operated according to different rules. A multicolored illusory screen continued floating before THE Creature’s position, displaying everything with clarity that the Calymmian Primordial Architect’s authority could not interfere with.

THE Creature observed it all.

And he had listened to everything Grimvault said about THE Pulse of The Scales.

His deep voice echoed out across the bloody domain with power that made the pooled fluids around him ripple despite the absence of physical force.

"THE Silurian Light."

The words erged as statent rather than question.

He raised his right hand brutally.

There, flickering above his palm, a fla manifested with colors that should not have been capable of existing simultaneously. It burned with hues that contradicted each other, configurations of light that pressed against perception with wrongness. The fla was small, perhaps the size of a fist, but its presence dominated the entire domain with authority that declared what it was capable of accomplishing.

This was not re fire.

This was causality made visible!

This was the power to unmake existence so thoroughly that even mory of that existence would cease to persist!

Anaximander, who had been observing the illusory screen with scholarly interest, pulled back instinctively the mont that fla appeared. His pristine robes shifted as he created distance between himself and THE Creature, his normally calm expression flickering into sothing approaching genuine concern. Even soone who had stood in the presence of THE Creature’s barbarity, who had observed him consu three Proterozoic Scale entities without flinching, found himself unable to remain still before THE Silurian Light.

He looked at the fla cautiously, observing how it burned without consuming, how it illuminated without providing comfort, how it existed as promise of annihilation rather than re destruction.

"I want to go help him."

His voice erged asured despite the tension visible in his posture.

"But I already know what you will say. Adversity, adversity. Blah, blah, blah."

THE Creature smiled grandly at those words.

Laughter erged from his blood-stained lips, the sound booming across the domain with genuine amusent that seed almost warm despite the horror surrounding its source. The fla above his palm flickered in response to his mirth, those impossible colors dancing.

"Co on, Jokul."

He closed his fist, extinguishing THE Silurian Light as casually as one might snuff a candle.

"It is ti for to make my return to THE Wyld."

"There is so much to be done."

He rose from his position atop the bloodstains where corpses had once lain, his multicolored flas expanding around his form as he moved for the first ti since his feast began.

"Tairiyya will join us along the way."

BOOM!

THE Creature’s fist smashed forward into the region ahead of him with force that should not have been possible to generate from standing position. The blow did not strike anything physical. It struck existence itself, that fabric of reality which separated this domain from whatever lay beyond.

Existence Splintered.

Cracks spread outward from the point of impact in configurations that resembled shattered glass, fractures in the very foundation of this space between Observable and Unobservable. Through those cracks, light bled in from sowhere else, illumination that carried authority unlike anything the current Observable Existence contained.

THE Wyld awaited, and THE Creature was preparing to return!
