The Early Veiled Shore had never looked as grand as this.
The golden sands burned with multicolored light that wasn’t coming from any external source but from beneath, from the substrate of THE Infiniverse herself as she pressed toward the threshold she’d been building toward since the first Miniature Infinite Cause had been installed in her foundations!
The seas around the shore moved with the sa light running through them, the dark water replaced by sothing that was water and Infinity simultaneously, and the multicolored flas of Persevere rose from Noah’s body every second as he stood at the waterline and looked up.
He wasn’t really looking up. He was looking at everything at once, his connection to THE Infiniverse running so deep that the distinction between observing her and being part of her had stopped being aningful. He felt the Three Thousand Realms expanding through that connection, felt the Primordial Realms pushing their foundations deeper into the substrate, felt THE Infinite Cause building in the upper layers of the domain like pressure behind a sealed door.
This Cause was his. That was the thing he sat with as the flas of Persevere rose and fell and rose again in their one-second rhythm.
Every Observable Existence had a First Cause behind its ergence, so originating truth that beca the foundational axiom the entire domain was built around. The Gilded Ones had spent Ages harvesting it, engineering their civilization from its expressions. The First Cause of this Observable Existence had produced nine Pri Causes that governed everything within it!
THE Infinite Cause was Noah’s. Not in the sense that he’d cultivated it or constructed it. In the sense that his mother had given birth to him, and in doing so had beco the originator of a Cause that had erged from the accumulated weight of her existence and what her existence had produced.
Alia Osmont, a Bounded woman from a world that had ended, had beco the origin point of a Cause that was now powering the ergence of an Observable Existence!
He felt her through the connection. Her power was rising in a way it had never risen before, the Cause that had originated from her turning back toward its source and elevating it, the feedback running both directions. Sowhere in THE Infiniverse, Alia Osmont was changing!
He also felt Henry through the connection, his son carrying the specific resonance of soone whose proximity to Noah had made them adjacent to everything Noah touched, and THE Infinite Cause was no exception.
Henry hadn’t originated the Cause and hadn’t cultivated toward it. He was simply connected to the being the Cause was centered on, and that connection was producing a boon he hadn’t sought and hadn’t expected.
The Cause was being validated now. Made grander than it had been as a nascent expression!
Made into THE First Cause behind the ergence of an Observable Existence, which was the highest validation a Cause could receive.
And he would benefit from it entirely and completely!
He opened his mouth.
"Let my engineering reach unfathomable heights." His voice carried across THE Infiniverse through their connection, and THE Infiniverse heard it. "Gilded Ones are born at THE Second and Third Scales from the power pulled from Causes. I want my foundations refined. My engineering made grander and newer and more unfathomable than even Gilded Ones."
He looked up at the erging aurora above, the light of THE Infinite Cause pressing through every layer of THE Infiniverse’s domain. "I want an answer to Infinity. How to grasp Absolute Infinity and beyond without losing who I am. I want my entire existence restructured to attain Infinite Foundation, Infinite Potential, an Infinite type of existence that can embody Infinity and THE Primordial Source just as easily."
The golden sands trembled beneath his feet.
"I want it all." He let the words build. "I WANT IT ALL!"
BOOM!
THE Infiniverse buzzed.
The Three Thousand Realms began expanding in the sa mont, each one pushing outward from its prior boundaries as THE Infinite Cause’s ergence fed directly into the weavings they were built on, the Cause elevating everything it touched.
The Primordial Realms responded as well!
Seas of Infinity ford where there had been no seas before, vast bodies of the substance materializing across multiple regions of THE Infiniverse simultaneously as THE Infinite Cause poured its power into the domain it was erging from. They moved in slow currents that followed no geography but their own, the multicolored rivers within them running in patterns that reflected the Cause’s nine facets before those facets had fully separated into their individual expressions.
Alia Osmont stood within one of those seas.
The Infinity around her rose to her knees and then to her waist and then surrounded her completely as her body began to change in response to what the Cause that had originated from her was doing at its mont of full ergence!
She didn’t resist it. She stood in the rising sea of Infinity with her hands at her sides and her eyes open, and the change moved through her with the completeness of sothing that had always been waiting for exactly this mont to begin.
The tendrils found Noah next.
They ca from everywhere within THE Infiniverse simultaneously, multicolored rivers of light carrying the concentrated expression of THE Infinite Cause directly toward the being the Cause was centered on. They were not gentle!
They pierced into his existence at every available point of entry, driving through his Source and his Infinity and his Observable Force and every structural component of what he was, and what they carried was not power in the sense he was accustod to receiving power but restructuring, the deep architectural revision of foundations that had been built one way and were now being rebuilt another!
His body broke apart!
BOOM!
It broke with the specific completeness of a structure being disassembled by sothing that knew exactly how it had been put together and had very specific ideas about how it should be put back together differently!
New circulatory systems ford within him, channels for Infinity and for the Cause expressions running alongside his existing architecture rather than replacing it, the engineering adding layers rather than stripping them.
He ca back together in the sa second he broke apart, and then broke apart again, and ca back together again, and the cycle ran at the sa one-second cadence as his Persevere, the two processes compounding into sothing that was producing a different being with each iteration!
Then THE Infiniverse splintered!
BOOM!
THE Splintering of Existence that soone had ntioned before!
And the Splintering caused the bloom of Nine distinct regions thay asserted themselves across the domain simultaneously, each one crystallizing from the weavings as THE Infinite Cause’s full expression separated into its nine foundational facet!
And the regions ford around those facets with the comprehensiveness of an Observable Existence organizing itself around its governing principles.

These Causes are distinct from the Pri Causes of THE First Cause of the known Observable Existence and represent the governing truths of a domain whose First Cause is THE Infinite Cause.|
