The first devil focused on regeneration, its body constantly healing and reforming no matter what damage it took.
The second specialized in long-range attacks, hurling golden spears and energy blasts from a distance.
The third was built for close-combat strength, its muscles bulging grotesquely as it wielded massive fists like hamrs.
The fourth dealt in illusions and ntal attacks, its form constantly shifting and flickering to confuse enemies while it assaulted their minds.
The fifth concentrated purely on defense, its skin hardening into armor that could deflect almost any strike.
The sixth moved with impossible speed, becoming a blur that was nearly impossible to track.
The seventh unleashed corrosive demonic energy that ate through anything it touched like acid.
All seven devils turned their blazing eyes toward Vogue and attacked simultaneously with coordinated fury.
The speed devil struck first, appearing beside Vogue in less than a blink and delivering a devastating punch to his ribs. The impact created a shockwave that rippled outward visibly through the air.
"Crack!"
Vogue’s ribs shattered on his right side from the force, bone fragnts puncturing into his lung. Blood sprayed from his mouth.
Before he could even register that first hit, the strength devil was already there. Its massive fist ca down like a teor in an overhead strike that caught Vogue on the shoulder and drove him into the ground.
"BOOM!"
The pavent exploded from the impact, creating a crater two ters deep. Vogue’s shoulder bone broke completely, his arm hanging at a wrong angle.
The long-range devil launched three golden spears from fifteen ters away. They flew through the air spinning like drills, each one aid at a vital point.
Vogue tried to dodge but the speed devil was already moving again, kicking him hard in the back and sending him tumbling directly into the path of the spears.
"Thud! Thud! Thud!"
All three spears pierced through his body. One went through his stomach, one through his thigh, and one through his left shoulder. They pinned him against the wall of a destroyed building.
The corrosive devil stepped forward, its hands dripping with black-green energy that hissed and bubbled. It touched Vogue’s chest, and imdiately his skin began to lt. The flesh dissolved like wax near a fla, exposing muscle and bone beneath.
Vogue scread, not from pain since he couldn’t feel it, but from the sheer shock of seeing his own body being eaten away.
The illusion devil wasn’t idle either. It was ssing with Vogue’s perception, making him see attacks coming from directions where nothing existed, making real attacks appear as harmless illusions. His sense of space beca distorted, up and down switching randomly.
anwhile, the defense devil positioned itself between the others and Vogue, its armored body ready to block any counterattack he might attempt. And the regeneration devil stood slightly back, ready to restore any of the other incarnations if they were damaged.
It was a perfectly coordinated assault from seven different angles simultaneously, each devil complenting the others’ abilities.
Vogue’s body was taking trendous damage. His regeneration was working overti, healing wounds as fast as they appeared, but new injuries kept coming faster than he could fully recover.
A slash from the strength devil opened a deep cut across his chest. The speed devil appeared and kicked his knee backward, breaking it the wrong way. The corrosive energy continued eating through his flesh wherever it touched. The spears were pulled out only to be thrown again, creating new holes in his body.
Blood covered the ground around him, so much blood it ford puddles that reflected the golden light of the devil incarnations.
But despite the devastating injuries, despite being overwheld by seven opponents at once, Vogue was still fighting back. His regeneration kept him alive and mobile when anyone else would have been dead ten tis over.
His severed shoulder reattached itself. The holes in his torso closed. The lted flesh regrew. Even his shattered ribs reford and his broken knee snapped back into proper alignnt.
He slashed at the speed devil as it blurred past him, actually managing to clip it and draw golden blood. He ducked under a punch from the strength devil and countered with an ice blade that stabbed into its eye. He used Shadow Step to escape from being surrounded, appearing twenty ters away only to have the long-range devil imdiately target him with more spears.
The battle was brutal and relentless. Neither side was giving any ground.
But Vogue realized quickly that he couldn’t win fighting like this. The seven devils were simply too much. Their coordination was perfect, their abilities covered every possible weakness, and they just kept coming no matter how many tis he hurt them.
He had no choice. He needed to use his trump card.
Vogue made a decision and imdiately began his transformation into his second dragon form.
At the sa mont, he severed five of his fingers with quick slashes of his blade. The fingers fell to the ground and instantly began growing, transforming into six perfect clones of himself within seconds.
Blue dragon wings suddenly erupted from Vogue’s back, tearing through his clothes and spreading wide. Unlike the single silver wing from before, these were a matching pair that glowed with icy blue energy.
A second horn sprouted from his head beside the first one, this one made of blue ice rather than silver. Now he had two horns curving backward from his skull.
His left eye, which had been silver, changed color and turned completely ice blue. His right eye remained silver, creating a striking two-toned appearance.
Frost imdiately began spreading across everything around him. The ground froze solid, ice coating the pavent in crystalline patterns. The air temperature dropped so drastically that his breath ca out as thick white clouds. Even the destroyed rubble around him beca covered in layers of frost.
Vogue’s physical strength rose by another three tis as the second dragon head’s power flooded through his body. He could feel the ice dragon’s presence in his mind alongside the ti dragon, both heads working together to enhance him.
His five clones had also transford, each one activating both dragon heads simultaneously. They stood ready with wings spread and twin horns gleaming, perfect copies of their creator.
The seven devil incarnations and the five dragon clones collided in a devastating clash of powers.
The speed-specialized clone activated Ti Step and Shadow Step together, moving so fast it appeared in multiple places at once. It engaged the speed devil in a battle where both combatants were nearly invisible blurs, their exchanges happening too quickly for normal eyes to follow.
The strength-focused clone activated Dragon Might to its maximum and charged the strength devil head-on. They crashed together like two colliding trucks, their fists eting with impacts that created shockwaves strong enough to shatter nearby windows.
Another clone used Ice Palace to trap the corrosive devil inside a fortress of frozen walls, isolating it from the others. The corrosive energy tried to lt through the ice, but the clone kept creating new layers faster than they could be destroyed.
The remaining two clones worked together against the other four devils, using combinations of ice attacks, ti manipulation, and dragon abilities to hold them at bay.
While this chaotic battle raged with explosions and energy blasts lighting up the street, Vogue himself had a singular focus.
He activated Ti Step and Shadow Step simultaneously, moving faster than he ever had before. The combination of both movent techniques plus his doubled dragon strength made him nearly impossible to perceive.
He appeared directly in front of the real Xander, who was floating in the center of his seven devil incarnations and controlling them all ntally.
Xander’s eyes widened in shock as he realized Vogue had gotten through his defenses.
Vogue’s face was completely calm as he spoke a single word.
"Explode."
In that exact mont, Vogue’s own body detonated. His entire form exploded with the force of a massive bomb going off at point-blank range.
But that wasn’t all. All five of his clones that were battling with the devils suddenly jumped at the at exploded.
