"Squelch!"
Vogue dragged the still-beating heart completely out of the man’s chest without warning.
The bloody warm organ continued beating in his hand, spraying blood through its severed blood vessels like a tap splashing dark red liquid everywhere.
The three remaining shadows were stunned when they saw Vogue move so fast.
The first shadow nad Luke was even more shocked when he suddenly saw Vogue appear directly in front of him in the blink of an eye, as if he had teleported.
He imdiately changed his sword style as he sliced directly at Vogue’s head. But his sword paused midway when he watched as Vogue casually grabbed the still-beating heart of his second companion an tossed it to the ground.
The first shadow was filled with fear, terror, and anger. The anger was not at Vogue but at the person who had sent them!
The two other remaining shadows had been positioned behind Vogue, so they couldn’t clearly see when Vogue had torn through the second shadow’s rib cage like it was made of paper and violently removed his beating heart with his bare hand.
Seeing that Vogue had briefly paused, the two shadows behind him seized the opportunity.
They moved forward with incredible speed, pushing their bodies to the limit as they pierced through Vogue’s heart and chest.
Aiming for an instant kill.
"Whoosh!"
However, their eyes widened as they realised it was an afterimage! As the afterimage faded, they saw the bloody hole in the body of the second shadow, and their eyes widened in shock.
"Wha—" the third shadow opened his mouth in disbelief but wasn’t about to complete his sentence.
"Bang!"
A powerful crimson fist suddenly burst straight through the back of his skull with an insane force.
"Squelch!"
With a wet, sickening ’splat’ sound, his entire head exploded like an overripe waterlon squashed by a sledgehamr.
Instantly, chunks of eyeballs, wet brain matter, sharp skull fragnts, and warm blood sprayed everywhere, covering the fourth shadow’s body and face.
The first shadow had already frozen in shock and terror, anwhile, the fourth shadow was simply confused, his mind unable to properly process what was actually happening. Everything was moving too fast and too violently for his brain!
Vogue landed softly behind the fourth shadow and wondered how to kill him. He ford a knife shape with his palm and then sliced it through the third shadow’s neck.
The cloak as well as the head flew into the air as blood sprayed from the empty neck of the shadow like a geyser.
Vogue then slowly turned his body to face the first shadow and smiled at him, as if they were old friends.
The first shadow’s weapon were still frozen mid slice. Currently, all his body was trembling as though the surrounding temperature had dropped below 0 degrees. The mont Vogue turned to face him, his knees started shaking and when Vogue smiled at him he felt as though a demon was about to consu his soul and he literally fainted from shock.
"Eh? Don’t die yet!" Vogue flashed to his side and grabbed the shadow an sighed in relief when he saw the youth had just fainted.
He opened the person’s hoodie was actually surprised to see a tattoo that he imdiately recognized. It was the symbol of one of the top three most powerful gangs in RustyGold district. This was more serious than he had initially thought.
Vogue cleaned his stained hand with the clothes of the other shadows dead on the ground.
He then grabbed the first shadow firmly by the neck with one hand and lifted him slightly. He slapped Kyle’s face three tis before he woke up.
"P-please, please, please! D-don’t kill , I’m begging you! I have two wives and two young kids waiting at ho. They are completely depending on to feed them and keep them alive!" " The mont the first shadow saw Vogue, he imdiately started begging for his life.
Vogue rolled his eyes in annoyance and gave Kyle another resounding slap. "Didn’t I specifically tell you earlier to be more creative with your words!? Not to ntion you’re barely 17, having two wives would just make want to kill you even more!"
The youth’s mouth was opened wide, and his face filled with confusion. But then his eyes suddenly lit up with understanding as a better idea ca to him. He nodded his head enthusiastically.
"Y-yes, boss! You’re absolutely right. Uhm, let try again. I actually have a six-year-old little sister and a one-year-old baby brother back ho. They are both waiting desperately for to co back and feed them tonight. That’s the only reason I even took this job in the first place. Please, I’m begging you to let live so I can take care of them." His voice cracked with what sounded like genuine fear and sadness.
Vogue thought about it and then nodded his head. "That works too."
But then he grinned as he stared at the youth like an old pervert seeing a naked young lady in his basent.
"I have excellent use for you." The third shadow’s body trembled and he felt like a prey as Vogue stared at him with those eyes.
He gritted his teeth. "I can do anything except that!"
Vogue’s face turned cold. "You think you have a choice?"
The youth clenched his teeth so hard he thought his jaw was going to break. Cold sweat began dripping down his entire body like a pool.
Hle knew with absolute certainty that if he spoke again or continued refusing, Vogue would imdiately kill him without any hesitation.
He sighed and all his dignity shattered along with that sigh. He finally nodded his head. "I-I will do it."
Vogue glanced at the youth in slight confusion. "I haven’t told you what you’re going to do yet and you already accepted, what if I swing the other way?"
The youth’s face was filled with question marks. "Are you not gay?"
Vogue’s face turned black. "Shut up and walk!"
