Vogue’s eyes barely registered the texts written on the holographic image of his system when a loud scream tore his concentration like a flying sword.
He groaned as he felt the pressure had reduced drastically and a new found strength coursed through his body as he turned toward the direction of the scream.
There, he saw an horrifying scene he hadn’t witnessed in his twenty years of being on earth not even the dark web could match if to this level of brutality.
A young lady who had been rolling her child and purchasing things a minute ago had now transford into a horrifying being.
She was a dark-haired latino lady with a pretty smile. She was roughly 1.6m ters in height with a slightly thick figure. But Vogue didn’t get much look at her cause she had her baby with her in her stroller and he was pretty much invested in his book reading.
But now, she had transford into sothing else. Her height has expanded from 1.6ters to over 2 ters in the blink of an eye. Her arms elongated, reaching her knees and her eyes were pure golden, without a single hint of white in them.
Not just that, her nails elongated, becoming as long and sharp as a bears claws.

He staggered backward in pure shock and terror, as he lost his balance and crashed into Aisle 3, sending bags of rice and containers of beans tumbling down around him with loud crashes.
The employee with the na tag "Sandra", now stood with completely empty eyes and the old man Vogue had passed on his way in, was frozen in place, trembling. The handful of other custors scattered throughout the supermarket were all visibly shaking with fear and shock as they processed the scene with absolutely horrifying expressions painted across their pale faces.
Several people had their phones out, filming the horrific scene with shaking hands.
As the teenager knocked over Aisle 3, it revealed another Radiant that had been lurking just out of sight between the aisles.
This one had thick ropes of saliva drooling down its sharp rows of teeth as it fixed its gaze on the teenager like a beast who had been starving for hundreds of years.
This Radiant had once been Marcus, a young college student who was also an employee who usually worked behind the checkout counter. Right now, he was sothing else, hunched, with massive figure, elongated limbs and golden eyes.
In the next second, the Radiant actually leapt upward. Cruising over 3 ters in a single leap as it landed on the teenager!
"So fast!"
Vogue’s pupils constricted. He had thought the biggest challenge here would be the so called Players, but now, the Radiants turns out to be the biggest challenge!
The teenager’s scream was cut short with a wet gurgling and crunching sound that echoed throughout the entire store.

A weird roar cut Vogue’s thought off as he felt movent behind him.
Without hesitation, Vogue’s legs whipped to the back as he relaxed a roundhouse kick.

The radiant was sent flying three ters backward, colliding violently into Aisle 5, crashing through the shelving. Bags of chips exploded in mid-air, creating a shower of potato chips and cheese puffs that rained down.
The Radiant he’d kicked was an elderly woman who was also in the store with him. Shewa’s the wife of the elderly man he had passed by earlier. At this mont; her movents were jerky and uncoordinated, like a marionette being operated by soone who’d never used strings before.
Its neck had broken due to Vogue’s kick, turning 180 degrees beyond its normal neck.
The Supermarket had already descended into absolute chaos in the span of maybe half a minute.
Screams echoed from every direction as the teenager tried to fight off the radiant; only to have his skull spilt into two and his brain sucked out like noodles.
The others continued to scream out in fear as they rushed out in panic, running from the horrifying radiants that had awakened.
The sll of blood filled the entire supermarket.
But even as Vogue watched, he noticed the radiant with broken neck was starting to move.
It’s neck suddenly turned as it regained its normal angel. With its bones popping back into place. Its head tilted as heated droll escaped its lips.
"Reaugh!" It roared as it began walking towards Vogue.
Vogue smirked an he to took a step forward as he walks towards the now monstrous old lady.
At this mont, the woman’s husband suddenly arrived before the old woman that had transford into a Radiant.
"H-oney! T-this isn’t you. Co with let us take you to the hospital."
Vogue paused and he rolled his eyes. "Let us take her to the hospital? Old man, that thing isn’t your wife anymore. And I definitely I’m not helping you take that thing to the hospital."
The old man was imdiately furious and he snapped! "Young man. Didn’t they teach you to respect your elders?"
