The shadow tiger stood beside Carter. The witch hesitated to attack. They couldn’t feel magic within Carter but his tiger was vicious. That was no Awaken being.
"What? Afraid now?" Carter said gently.
"This one is an Elite. Run!" The witches turned around and rushed away.
The Tiger jumped forward and caught a witch. The remaining five ran.
"I’m sorry. But I cannot let you live."
The thick red aura wrapped around Carter. He disappeared in his location and jumped onto one of the running witches. With one simple punch, he caved her skull in and killed her instantly.

The tiger finished the other witch.

Carter moved quickly through the field, much faster than any witch could run.
The doctor in white coat caught another witch and broke her neck right there.

A witch tried to jump onto the tree but was caught by the tiger.

Only two witches remained. They fell on their butt and were overwhelming by fear.
"Please don’t kill us!" A witch begged.
Carter slapped the two of them so hard, they outright fainted. He kept them alive to interrogate them later.
"Doctor Hugo. You... How are you so strong?" Charles widened his eyes and mumbled.
"I learned so martial arts. That’s all." Carter chuckled.
Charles didn’t ask more. He knew the doctor didn’t want to say the truth.
"Go find so place to stay. I’ll catch up later. I need to deal with these bodies." Carter said.
Charles looked at the bleeding Peter. "He is in a very bad state and in need of dical attention."
"I’ll be with you soon. You need to go now or else more witches may find us." Carter made so excuse to chase them away. He dragged the body of the witches together. His tiger helped him.
"Be careful. We’ll wait for you." Charles nodded.
He picked up Florence and left with Peter. The shadow transford into a bird and followed them, making sure they left the premise entirely.
As for Carter, he needed to collect so shards.
’Let’s see if you can bring more power.’
Carter converted the five dead witches to shards.

Witches were incredible rare accordingly to Beatrice Cavendish, the witch that Carter t last ti he was here.

The white doctor disappeared. The pale man with dark hair replaced him. The usual well-tailored suit and top hat returned.
Carter woke a surviving witch up and used Deep Hypnosis on her.
"Tell everything."
The witch’s eyes dazed out. "Yes..."
These witches were within a Coven, but not the one that Carter knew about. This was called the Coven of the Dark Arts, an opposing force to the Coven of the Witches, which included the usual witches.
The Dark Coven didn’t practice hex magic or witch potions, they practiced dark magic. Dark magic ca from an entity called Mara, the Forest Crone.
As for Florence, she was related to a prophecy that the Crone made. The most powerful witch that ever existed, even more powerful than the Forest Crone, was the Dark Witch. It was prophesied that she would reincarnate after her death and the Dark Witches thought that Florence was her.
’This is a logical assumption. From what Charles told , Florence’s mother and father were human. She couldn’t be a witch. And yet, she has cursed blood. Maybe reincarnation is a thing?’
Carter hypnotized the other witch and learned the sa thing. He wanted to make sure he had the correct information.
From them, he also learned more about the witches and the erging force of the fifth tribe, the Necromancer.
’Huh... Necromancy exists in this world. This world has Undead so obviously there will be people that can and want to control them.’
According to the two witches, Necromancers weren’t Undead themselves, they practiced magic just like witches. But their magic focused on raising and controlling the dead.
’The Necroglotticon that I learn earlier. It must be a product of the Necromancers.’
After learning all that he could, it was ti for him to decide the two witches’s fate. They’re no innocence. But Carter didn’t want to kill them.
The pale man pulled the two witches closer and bit into their neck. He sucked them dry.
The first witch moaned. Her entire body constricted because of pain and pleasure.

Carter could suck her dry. But why should he? He had a far more interesting plan. Through his fangs, he released his own parasitic blood into her bloodstream, replacing her old blood.
His blood multiplied when they found a new host and filled her entire body.
He let the witch fall to the ground and then feasted on another.

The two of them were sucked dry. The power of the Crone inside them was pushed away. The black liquid was disintegrated and the hideous dark veins disappeared. The hair of the bald witches grew back, their skin beca brighter, smoother, and glowed in the night.
The two monstrous witches had beco two beautiful naked vampires.
The two witches regained their consciousness and knelt at Carter.
"Father..." They said.
’A neat trick. My synchronization rises as long as I get more blood. Then I can waste just a little of my power to turn them into a vampire.’
"Return to your Coven. Disguise yourselves well and hide yourself until further instructions."
"Yes, Father!" The witches disappeared into the night.
Carter watched them leave then turned back to the Shadow Apothecary and caught up with Charles.
[SHADOW APOTHECARY EQUIPPED]
His shadow transford into a horse. He jumped on it and rode away.
Charles and Peter had gone into town, the city of Bewingham. They knocked on the door of the Infirmary but they wouldn’t open.
"Please, we need dical attention!" Charles shouted.
"Please leave! We don’t take infected patients anymore!"
"What are you talking about?! We aren’t infected!"
"Please go away!"
Carter appeared just in ti. He jumped down from the shadow horse and kicked the door of the Infirmary open.
