Bai Cheng rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Just give another heating stove."

When she received the ssage, Yu Nian’s eyes practically sparkled with admiration.

"Wow, wow, wow! Little Cheng, I freaking love you! Let piecream you!"

"???"

Bai Cheng automatically ignored her flirtatious teasing and turned her attention back to her own tasks.

However, Yu Nian’s antics did remind her of sothing. She still hadn’t used the random blueprint she obtained from boarding the station.

Bai Cheng couldn’t help but wonder, "Since the third zone is such a disgusting snowy mountains, does that an the random blueprint from the platform login is guaranteed to be a heating stove?"

But her assumption turned out to be wrong.

Because what Bai Cheng saw on the blueprint was a small, ring-shaped object.

[Na: Explorer’s Pinky Ring (Blueprint)]

[Description: Crafted with special techniques, this pinky ring contains a unique magnetic field that resonates with minerals buried deep underground within a ten-ter radius.]

[Materials Required: Bronze Ingot ×1, Infinite Coin ×10]

"A detection device?" Bai Cheng rubbed her chin.

Reading the description on the screen, she realized that this Explorer’s Pinky Ring was just as crucial as the Heating Stove.

From the description, it was clear that these snowy mountains hid minerals underground, and this ring was the key to finding them.

However, Bai Cheng wasn’t in a hurry to craft it. Nightti was obviously not the best ti for mining.

Instead, she took out her ultimate slacking off tool, the Skeleton Throne Special Blueprint, and scouted out a relatively uncrowded corner of the train carriage before decisively choosing to construct it.

Its appearance was almost identical to before, but it had shrunk significantly in size. Rather than a throne, it now looked more like an ordinary chair.

Staring at the severely downsized throne, Bai Cheng couldn’t help but feel speechless.

"Did they make it this small just to prevent a second person from sitting on it...?"

She sighed. "What a sha that it’s a blue-grade structure."

At her current stage, Yu Nian’s Talent could only restore white-grade common or gradeless items. Things like the Skeleton Throne and Bai Cheng’s upgraded gear were beyond her ability to replicate.

Still, Bai Cheng had already thought of a way to help Yu Nian speed up her progress.

And of course, Yu Nian’s Talent would also be a massive boost for Bai Cheng as well.

Both of them had utility-based Talents, so helping each other was nothing short of a perfect synergy.

Bai Cheng took out the incomplete Train Core (3/5) from her storage. Important resources like cores and crystals didn’t have quality ratings. In other words, Yu Nian could replicate them with her Talent.

Although Bai Cheng had obtained Train Core fragnts twice, and they had automatically rged, the core itself remained incomplete.

She didn’t even need to deliberately break it. Just handing it over to Yu Nian would allow her to activate her talent imdiately.

Bai Cheng: "Nian Nian, how long do you think it’ll take to restore the Train Core?"

Yu Nian: "Hmm... I can’t say for sure, but I tested it a bit. Feels like it’ll take at least four hours."

Bai Cheng: "Don’t push yourself too hard. Take care of your health."

Yu Nian: "Got it."

Yu Nian’s restoration talent consud both stamina and ntal energy. She couldn’t operate like a machine, endlessly restoring items without rest.

Bai Cheng then turned her gaze to her Armor Core.

She looked at Chi Yan. "Can you break this?"

Chi Yan took the Armor Core and tried to destroy it, but a prompt imdiately appeared on the screen.

[Core items cannot be destroyed!]

Well, so much for that idea.

Still, at this stage, the Armor Core wasn’t as useful as the Train Core. Being able to replicate the latter was already a huge win.

Just then, the steadily moving train finally completed the final upgrade for the Cold-Resistant Heating Stove.

[Top-Grade! Integrated Infinite Heating Stove!]

[You have gained 1 distributable attribute point!]

"Even though the amount of cold energy absorbed the second ti was higher, upgrading it was still easy."

Bai Cheng picked up the stove and connected it to the train’s circuits.

Although she didn’t feel any tangible warmth spreading through the carriage, the cold air at the very back had now completely dissipated. Moreover, the train no longer faced that invisible resistance while moving forward.

"Now, we can travel smoothly even at night."

Bai Cheng’s eyes sharpened. This ti, she would reach the third station at an unprecedented speed.

Then, she would complete the Pioneer Trial as quickly as possible to obtain the second train carriage.

"Wait." Bai Cheng suddenly realized a critical issue. "The train hasn’t been upgraded yet. Right now, it can only connect to one additional carriage at most..."

If she didn’t upgrade the train, who knew if the reward for a single carriage would be replaced later?

"I wonder if a Level 2 train can connect to a new carriage."

Still, Bai Cheng wasn’t too worried. With Yu Nian’s talent, Train Cores would essentially beco an endless resource.

The only problem was the ti it took.

As the train continued moving, she sent another ssage to Yu Nian.

After a brief discussion, the two of them ca up with a preliminary upgrade plan.

Yu Nian would replicate Train Cores to upgrade both trains, while Bai Cheng would compensate for Yu Nian’s inability to upgrade during this period by enhancing her equipnt.

Soon, Bai Cheng received a batch of items from Yu Nian through the mail.

There was a lighter, flashlight, dagger, clothes, and more.

These were all items that Bai Cheng had already enhanced, and she had confird that their upgrade paths wouldn’t waste any ti.

However, her talent also had its limitations. So items, once upgraded to Legendary Quality, would automatically beco bound, aning that they couldn’t be returned to Yu Nian and could only be used by Bai Cheng herself.

Left with no choice, Bai Cheng decided to settle for upgrading items like daggers and clothes to Purple Epic instead.

She then pulled the train’s brake lever, bringing the train to a gradual stop.

Until the train was upgraded to accommodate a second carriage, there was no need to rush.

"Chi Yan, Zi Yuan, do you sense any danger outside?"

The blizzard raged on. Bai Cheng had a feeling that the dangers of this terrain’s Silent Night were more natural than creature-based.

In this kind of weather, would anything even be wandering around out there?

But the mont she thought of that, the howling wind was pierced by a sharp wolf’s cry.

"Awooo—"

"A wolf?" Bai Cheng’s expression brightened.

"Young Lady, it’s a magical beast," Chi Yan said. "This subordinate didn’t sense any ordinary beasts around us."

"Good." Bai Cheng’s eyes glead. "Eliminate them."

The fact that magical beasts still existed in such an environnt was undoubtedly good news.

After giving her orders, Bai Cheng sat down on the Skeleton Throne and began upgrading Yu Nian’s items.

Due to his attributes, Chi Yan was at a disadvantage in this weather, so the task of grinding experience fell to Zi Yuan, while he remained on guard duty inside the train.

Ti flew by, and Bai Cheng soon finished upgrading all the items.

After sending them back to Yu Nian, she opened her screen to allocate her attribute points.

This ti, she had gained six points in total, and her Spirit attribute now reached 24.

At this mont, Bai Cheng felt as though her vision could pierce through the darkness and snowstorm, seeing farther than before. Even her senses and hearing had noticeably strengthened.

"I’m becoming less and less human," she mused.

While she had been upgrading items, the furnace hadn’t been idle either. The 150 copper and tin ores obtained from the platform had now been fully slted.

Just as Bai Cheng was about to check what new items she could unlock, Yu Nian’s mail arrived right on ti.

Inside was a complete Train Core!

Seeing this, Bai Cheng imdiately broke into a smile.

"Perfect. Now we can upgrade the train!"
