"My creator… please give a na."

Alan nodded.

"From now on, your na will be Xander."

At first, he considered combining his own na with Alex—Alanxander—

But in the end, he chose sothing simpler.

Xander.

[ Na has been set. ]

[ You have nad your second Guardian: Xander. ]

"Alan… what is this?" Sage Sticks asked, still staring at Xander.

Alan glanced at him.

"As you can see… it's a new magic created by soone nad Mumud. There are many fields involved in this—alchemy, necromancy, golem creation, and such."

Sage Sticks nodded slowly.

"Mumud… who was he?"

"He was soone whose magic simplification theory was stolen by his master, Braham… and then presented to the world as his own creation."

Sage Sticks frowned upon hearing this.

"As expected from a demonkin… what else can you expect from them?" he said, shaking his head. "Still… even if that's the case, you used the bodies of previous legends."

"I know what you're saying," Alan replied calmly. "But it's better than letting them rot away. At least this way, a part of their legacy lives on."

He looked at Xander.

"This being carries a fragnt of both Alex and Kruger… but it isn't them. It's their experience—the legacy they left behind."

Xander stood silently.

He looked like a handso young man, with golden hair and blue eyes, and fair skin. His build was lean yet sturdy, and a fine cloak rested over his shoulders.

No one would think he was undead just by looking at him.

'Though… why did he end up as undead? Lucifer wasn't undead either when I created him…'

Alan thought for a mont.

'Maybe it's because of the many high-level bodies used. His level is much higher because of that…'

'So… if I use too many dead bodies, I'll end up creating an undead-type guardian.'

Alan nodded, understanding another aspect of Guardian Creation.

"Anyway, I'm going to the next island," he said, glancing at Sage Sticks.

"Just follow … with him."

He then looked at Xander.

"As you wish, my creator," Xander replied with a nod.

"Alan is fine," Alan said.

Xander nodded once again.

"As you wish… Alan."

There was no need to waste ti, so Alan imdiately entered the 64th island.

Then—

He t Miner Gis.

Clack!

Clack clack clack!

The 64th island was a cave.

A massive, open space where minerals grew from every surface. Blue ores embedded in the ceiling illuminated the area with a faint glow.

At the center—

A Death Knight stood.

Gis.

He was enormous.

A giant skeleton, comparable in size to the orc warriors turned into Death Knights. Because of that, the pickaxe in his hand looked unusually small.

"A tanker… he must be really durable."

Kuwaaaaaang!

Alan didn't hesitate.

Using Quick Step and Holy Swordsmanship, he rushed forward with overwhelming force.

But at that mont—

Ttang!

Death Knight Gis started mining.

Even as Alan charged straight toward him—

Gis ignored everything and continued swinging his pickaxe.

"…Eh?"

Alan frowned.

It was absurd.

Why was he ignoring the enemy?

'Is his artificial intelligence broken?'

For a mont, Alan thought this might be easier than expected.

He even smiled slightly.

Chaaeng!

His sword struck Gis' skull—

But—

[ Gis is mining. ]

[ Gis is invincible while mining. You cannot deal any damage. ]

"Oh… so that's the setting."

Alan nodded as he read the ssage.

"Invincible while mining… then what if there's nothing left to mine?"

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He raised his hand.

"Black Hole."

A dark sphere ford above the cave—

Then expanded rapidly.

The surrounding space distorted as everything was pulled toward it.

The walls—

The ground—

Even the minerals Gis was mining—

All of it was devoured.

The cave collapsed in seconds.

Gis stopped.

There was nothing left to mine.

The mont his pickaxe halted—

His invincibility disappeared.

"That's it."

Alan didn't hesitate.

"100,000 Army Blockade Sword."

Boom!!

Chains of force bound Gis in place.

"200,000 Army Massacre Sword."

A heavy slash struck his body.

Crack—

"100,000 Army Mortality Sword."

BOOM—

The final strike landed.

Gis's massive body shattered—

And collapsed completely.

"Wow…"

Alan looked at the pickaxe with interest.

"Pagma even took this while digging his grave…"

He muttered as he stored it in his inventory.

"Pagma was a real bastard, huh."

Alan glanced toward the next island.

"So… what do you think, Madra?" he asked. "At this point, it's obvious. One of the remaining islands must have Death Knight Madra as the guardian."

—That bastard Pagma… he's lucky he's already dead. Otherwise, I would've killed him myself—even if I had to crawl out of Hell.

Madra replied angrily.

Alan chuckled.

"As you can see, I can also resurrect you," he said casually.

—Don't joke with .

Madra's voice turned cold.

—What you created isn't resurrection. It's just a fragnt… a legacy of those people. It's closer to necromancy. The only difference is that you didn't bind their souls—you only used the remnants of their experience imprinted in their bodies and lingering soul essence.

Alan listened quietly.

—I already have a successor. I don't need another.

Madra added.

Alan nodded.

"As you wish."

He paused, then spoke again.

"But can I—"

—Use my body to create another one of those things you call Guardians? Go ahead. I don't mind.

Madra finished before Alan could ask.

A faint smile appeared on Alan's face.

"Thank you."

Madra simply gave a low hum in response.
