"I should have asked her to marry sooner," Alan thought as he stared at the flood of notifications appearing before him.
He turned to Latina.
She was completely engulfed in a cocoon of flowing crimson blood, pulsing like a living heart. Fine cracks spread across its surface before it shattered—blood petals dissolving into the air.
Latina stepped out.
She was unmistakably more beautiful now. More radiant. Her presence alone made the air feel heavier, as if the world itself acknowledged her existence.
"Is the Authority of Domination enhancing her charm as well?" Alan wondered silently as he looked at her.
The next second, she threw her arms around him.
"Thank you," she whispered.
Alan stiffened slightly before returning the hug.
"Because of you, Mother granted another of her Authorities," Latina said softly.
"I am now like a firstborn—soone who carries two of Mother's Authorities. None of my other siblings have that honor."
Alan held her a little tighter, his gaze drifting back to the system ssages.
They weren't finished yet.

"So… where do you want to spend our first night?" Alan asked.
Latina blushed deeply, burying her face against his chest before speaking in a muffled voice."Don't you have your own ho near the vampire cities?" she asked, still flustered.
"…"Alan fell silent, his expression turning distant.
Latina noticed imdiately and looked up at him."What happened?" she asked softly.
After a mont, Alan sighed and began to explain—about Reidan City, about how it had once been prosperous, and how its people had suffered under Vampires and other desert monsters.
When he finished, Latina tilted her head, clearly unconcerned.
"Does it really matter?" she shrugged."Aren't they just your subjects? Just rule over them."
Alan smiled faintly at her words.
Well… it's not like I can expect her to see the world the sa way I do, he thought.
Then he spoke aloud, his tone calm but sincere."Maybe. But is there any way you could… not see humans as prey?"He hesitated before adding, "I can provide you with as much blood as you want. Voluntarily. No hunting. No fear."
Latina pursed her lips, clearly thinking it over.
After a few seconds, she nodded."…Alright," she said quietly."But only for you."
Alan let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding and gently rested his forehead against hers.
"That's enough for ," he said.
For the first ti, Latina smiled—not the confident smile of a vampire noble or the overwhelming presence of soone bearing two Authorities—but a small, genuine one.
"Then," she said, squeezing his hand, "let's go to Reidan City."
Alan blinked."You're sure?"
"If they're yours," she replied calmly, crimson eyes steady,"then they are under my protection as well."
A new notification flickered silently at the edge of Alan's vision.
[ Reidan City has been marked as a Protected Domain ]
[ No Vampires will hunt the Reidan city residents and even protect it if need arrives ]
Alan looked at her in surprise.
"Okay… by the way, can you disguise yourself as a normal human? And can you eat human food too?" he asked while flying through the sky, holding her in a princess carry.
Latina nodded calmly.
"Even lesser vampires know how to disguise themselves as humans," she said.
"That's how most vampires hunt."
Alan nodded in understanding.
"As for human food," she continued, "only True Blood vampires and direct descendants can eat it. Lesser vampires can survive only on blood."
"I see," Alan replied.
"Let's go and et your siblings before heading to my city," he said.
Latina nodded—but her expression shifted. Her grip on his clothes tightened slightly.
"…Is this really okay?" she asked, worry clear in her voice.
Alan glanced down at her.
"Hmm? Is there a problem?" he asked gently.
"Why wouldn't I be able to et your siblings?"
Latina hesitated for a mont before answering.
"They… might not welco you," she said quietly.
"Most of them dislike humans. So of them hate them. And now…" she looked away, "…you are my husband."
Alan chuckled softly.
"Then that makes it even more important," he said.
"If they're your family, I should et them properly."
