"I've completed the Trial of 100 Unique Items," he replied. The elders nodded in approval.

"This ti, your reward is here. Simply choose any grave," they said as Alan looked around the silent cetery.

"So… will I receive another fighting technique this ti?" he asked. The elders shook their heads.

"No. We have also combined our other skills. For example, one of us was a Master Tailor," one elder explained.

"And I was both a Master Artificer and a Master Blacksmith," another added.

"This ti, depending on your luck, you may receive either a combat skill or a craftsman skill."

Alan nodded as he looked at the nine graves.

It would be great if I could get a craftsman skill, he thought. Creating equipnt granted him stats, and that was sothing he truly needed right now.

After all from now on he can't acquire any more stats from items below legendary rank.

As for combat skills—unless it was a Sword Saint–level ability—he already possessed more than enough powerful techniques. Besides, he was already planning to get the Undefeated King Madra class, so it wouldn't matter much even if he didn't receive another combat skill.

"Are you ready?" the elders asked.

Alan nodded and stepped forward before choosing the ninth grave. Nine was his lucky number in this life.

"Are you sure?" they asked again.

"I am," Alan replied confidently.

The elders nodded.

Suddenly—two books rose slowly from the grave, glowing faintly.

"Out of the nine graves, two contained dual rewards—one combat skill and one craftsmanship skill. And you have chosen one of them," the elders said with approving smiles. "Congratulations. Your luck truly is extraordinary."

Alan smiled as he reached out and accepted both skill books.

[ Master Tailor Craftsmanship Skill Acquired ]

[ Shadow Mastery Skill Acquired ]

"These two belonged to ," a middle-aged ghost elder said proudly. "I once saved a mber of Eclipse, and in return he left this technique. It was originally created by the legendary assassin, Lantier."

"Although it was once considered suicidal to learn Eclipse techniques without being one of their mbers, you don't have to worry anymore. Eclipse no longer exists," he added.

Alan nodded.

"Even if Eclipse were still active, I wouldn't really care," Alan muttered, examining the new skill. Shadow Mastery looked extrely powerful.

[ Shadow Mastery ]

• Allows you to control shadows freely.

• Initially activates using only your own shadow. With training, you can gradually link with surrounding shadows.

• The form and size of the shadow determine the mana cost. Shadows can also be given different attributes and work especially well with poison attributes.

• Cooldown: None.

• Multiple sub-skills can be created from Shadow Mastery based on your understanding and experintation.

• When used with poison attribute, power of ford shadow increases by 100% and poison deals 100% more damage.

[ Congratulations! You have obtained a Shadow Magic Skill. ]

[ Mumud's Shadow Magic Tree has been opened. ]

[ Legendary Spell: Devastation Acquired. ]

[ Level of Mumud's Magic Tree has Increased by 1. ]

Alan looked surprised by the unexpected windfall. He checked the upgraded Mumud Magic Tree—now, instead of ignoring 30% of magic defense, all his magic spells ignored 50%, and his magic attack power had increased by 30%.

He also noticed sothing new—different elental magics could now be fused together, though only two elents could be combined for now.

"Hmm… that's a really powerful level-up," Alan said with a satisfied smile as the ghost elders watched him.

"It seems you like it a lot," they said. Alan nodded in agreent.

"Now… it is ti for your final test," the oldest elder said slowly.

"Surpass Albantino."

[ Albantino Class Quest ]

[ You have passed all the tests of the Albantino Family. Only the final test remains. ]

[ Quest Clear Condition: Create one Legendary-rated item or defeat a Legend. ]

[ Quest Clear Reward: Rewards will vary based on how you complete the quest. ]

[ Quest Ti Limit: NONE ]

[ ....! ]

[ You have already defeated a Legend. ]

[ Quest Cleared. ]

[ A reward is being generated based on your play style up until now… ]

"You have already defeated a legend?" the ghost elders asked in astonishnt.

Alan nodded casually. "I defeated Pagma's descendant."

"Pagma's descendant? Hahaha! Excellent!" the elders laughed loudly. "Pagma himself was inspired by the works of our great ancestor before becoming a legendary blacksmith."

" It's great you defeated his descendant"

"Please choose another grave. This is a great occasion," they said warmly.

[ Hidden Quest Completed ]

[ Defeat Pagma or Pagma's Descendant ]

Alan nodded and looked over the graves again.

"The elders said two graves contained dual rewards… I already chose one earlier… maybe I can get another good one," he murmured to himself.

After a mont of thought, he pointed ahead.

"I choose the first grave."

The elders nodded, and a single skill book slowly rose from the grave, floating gently toward Alan.

It seems my luck finally ran out, Alan thought as he received the book.

[ Pauld's Magic Artifact Creation acquired. ]

"You got another crafting skill," one of the elders said. Alan nodded. Artifact creation ant rings, necklaces, and other magical accessories—but there was sothing special about this one. It was a Legendary-rated skill.

"Pauld was a great magician from Braham's era," the elder explained. "He was a pitiful man who could never overco the wall that was Braham, despite being a great magician himself."

"I t him once when he was lying drunk in an inn. We talked, and he confessed how useless he felt. He wanted to help humanity… and more than anything, he wanted his na to be rembered in history."

"At that ti, I suggested—why not create magic artifacts instead? He looked at for a long ti… and eventually agreed. Twenty years later, he returned with his first artifact. It was a ring—an incredibly powerful ring that reduced all resource consumption by half."

"Reduced resource consumption by half?" Alan asked in surprise. He suddenly rembered who Pauld was—the creator of the Ring of Absurdity.

"Yes," the elder said with a sigh. "But I lost it. I lent it to a friend, and sadly… he died in the Lako Labyrinth, located in the Lubana Kingdom—though that land now belongs to the Saharan Empire."

"So if you ever go there… try to find it in the Lako Labyrinth," the elder added.

Alan nodded thoughtfully.
