Now reading: Chapter 14: The Chat and the Queue from Infinite Wealth System: Crazy Tasks, Insane Rewards!, a Fantasy novel by ReaperXXD.

After finishing spending the Wealth Points, Jayden settled down and moved to the next thing that ca to mind.

Now he was rich, rich enough to create a company of his own. After the Title Advantage had doubled his cash rewards, he had gained 10 million dollars!

It had gotten to a point where Jayden was no longer stunned anymore. He already saw this as a shocking reality, and just like that, he was gaining a lot of money without even working for it...

Actually, completing tasks was undoubtedly an effort, but to be frank, what company would pay a worker five million dollars just to outbid a sharp-tongued millionaire on a Rolex and walk away without collecting it?

The Infinite Wealth System was literally the greatest thing that had happened to him in his life... And he hoped that one day... this system wouldn't disappear.

That was beginning to be one of Jayden's fears at this point.

The next day, Jayden attempted to plan so stuff before heading to lectures when a ssage suddenly popped up on his ChatNet app.

[[New Chat — Cammy.]]

Jayden's eyes glinted at once.

"Camillia... Oof, I can't believe I forgot to call her," Jayden shook his head.

[[Camillia: Wow... So you're really good at ghosting, huh?]]

Jayden blinked, then chuckled to himself.

[[Jayden: Ghosting? I'm right here.]]

[[Camillia: Could've fooled . I texted two days ago. Not even a 'seen.']]

Jayden flinched. It was then that he noticed the "Hi" and "Jayden are you there?" ssages she had sent two days ago. He had to admit that he had been very busy.

[[Jayden: Yeah... That's on . Things got a bit hectic on my end.]]

[[Camillia: Hectic? What kind of college senior life are you living that's that busy?]]

[[Jayden: Haha. Let's just say it's... different. But I promise I wasn't ignoring you.]]

[[Camillia: Mhm. I'll pretend to believe that. For now.]]

[[Jayden: That's all I ask.]]

Jayden grinned.

[[Camillia: Anyway, just letting you know. I won't be around campus today. Family stuff ca up. So feast or celebration or whatever.]]

[[Jayden: Big family thing?]]

[[Camillia: Very. The kind where there are too many people asking way too many personal questions.]]

[[Jayden: Like "When are you getting married?" or "How's school?" type of questions?]]

[[Camillia: Exactly! You get it. I need ntal prep before I walk into that battlefield.]]

[[Jayden: Sending virtual strength. And snacks. You'll need both.]]

[[Camillia: Thanks. You better save a good story for Saturday to make up for your ghosting.]]

[[Jayden: Story? I've got a whole novel ready. I'll let you choose the Chapter.]]

[[Camillia: Haha, smooth. So we're still on for Saturday then?]]

[[Jayden: Definitely. I'd hate to miss it.]]

Jayden smirked repeatedly as he sent that.

[[Camillia: Alright. But if you vanish again, I'm cancelling. No rcy.]]

[[Jayden: Noted. I'll make sure I'm easy to find.]]

[[Camillia: Good. I'll let you get back to whatever top-secret thing you're doing. I'll text later if I survive today.]]

[[Jayden: Looking forward to the survival update.]]

[[Camillia: Bye, Mr. Dangerous.]]

[[Jayden: Bye, lady of the feast.]]

Jayden leaned back with a small grin, staring at the last ssage. For a mont, everything else faded into the background.

.....

Monarch Café. (Jayden's newly bought café)

The sll hit first.

Rich. Warm. Smoky-sweet with a strange undertone that made your brain jolt like it had just woken up. The first student to take a sip earlier that morning had widened his eyes and said just one word:

"WHOA!"

Now, it was nearly 1:00 PM, and the Monarch Café was under siege.

A line had ford from the counter to the exit door—and was now spilling out into the hallway.

"Next, please!" linda called, trying not to panic as the register blinked red with every new order.

A guy in a red hoodie practically shoved his card across the counter. "Bro, two cups of that new stuff! I don't know what's in it, but it made finish a whole assignnt in thirty minutes!"

"It's the beans," muttered Reese, one of the baristas linda employed, juggling three steaming cups at once. "Or magic. Honestly, maybe both."

Actually, he couldn't afford to disclose the secret, as ordered by his boss.

Soone from the back of the line yelled, "Is this where people co to feel alive again? Because I need five!"

linda laughed tightly from inside, wiping her forehead. "Okay! Okay! Calm down, people! You'll all get your miracle juice!"

Another student, a tall girl with huge glasses and a laptop under her arm, stepped forward. "Can I please get three takeaway cups? I need my groupmates to experience this. One sip and they'll actually start pulling their weight."

A few chuckled.

Behind the scenes, the machines humd, stead, and groaned like exhausted marathon runners. The beans Jayden had secretly delivered last night were brewing into sothing addictive. The first set of people who had noticed it were students, and they were reacting like it was a potion from the gods.

"I don't know what's happening," Reese muttered, watching the steam rise from the espresso maker. "It's just coffee. Right?"

linda grinned. "Yeah. But now it's Monarch Coffee."

A few students near the windows took selfies with their cups. One posted on Loopi with the caption:

"New café blend just dropped. I swear I can hear colors now."

On FaceWorld, soone else uploaded a short clip of them dancing around after one sip, captioned:

"Monarch Café's new coffee is cracked. What did y'all put in this?"

The post already had 20,000 views and rising.

Back at the counter, a guy tapped linda's arm. "Hey, uh... do y'all deliver? My roommate's in his room crying from exam stress. I need to revive him."

"Not yet," linda replied with a grin. "But tell him to co here and cry in line like the rest of us."

Just then, soone at the back of the café shouted, "IT'S SOLD OUT?!" A brief hush fell.

linda turned to Reese in panic.

Reese gave her a smile. "He should be patient."

linda quickly grabbed a microphone near the register.

"All right, everyone! Just relax. There is enough to go around. Just hang around and wait a little bit," linda said as she stared down at the lengthy queue outside the café.

A few groans rose, as many were clearly soaked in impatience.

People started taking pictures of the café, their cups, the nu—anything to prove they'd been here today.

So buyers even drank the coffee they bought and suddenly saw themselves coming back to join the queue.

It was crazy.

'Where did he get that flower from?' linda couldn't help but wonder, as she couldn't believe her eyes.

Monarch Café had beco legendary...

Overnight.
