[Inside the Soul Secret Realm - Burning City.]
Sunny was moving calmly, but his ntal connection to his scouting units was flashing red.
{Ten rcenaries have been destroyed.}
He raised an eyebrow, his pace still even. The grand class rcenaries were resilient Divine rank fighters; sothing was clearly strong here.
{Twenty rcenaries have been destroyed.}
He turned his head to the side, a frown creasing his face as the destruction rate accelerated.
{Ten rcenaries have been destroyed.}
Sunny turned his head to the left, his focus sharpening.
"What happened?" Josephine asked, noticing the abrupt change in his concentration.
"Sothing is destroying my rcenaries," he said, his voice low.
"And it’s coming from all sides, simultaneously." He imdiately brought out the holographic map. To both his and Josephine’s shock, countless red dots, numbering in the thousands, were moving all around the city. Several large groups were converging on their exact location with incredible speed.
"Hold on."
Sunny quickly dismissed their lion mounts, extending four of his magnificent, shadowy wings. He picked up Josephine in a secure, Princess-style carry and shot into the sky.
Josephine wrapped her hands tightly around his neck, her face filled with focused concern rather than fear.
"We should know our enemy first," Sunny explained, and she nodded, agreeing with the necessity of reconnaissance.
They watched from high above as twenty ghostly figures, ard with spectral weapons and emitting cold spiritual energy, stopped precisely on the spot they had just vacated.
"Are those ghosts?" Josephine asked in surprise, recognizing the ethereal quality of their form.
"I think ’wraiths’ is more fitting here—soul ghosts," Sunny clarified, fitting the enemy to the realm. With a thought, a towering Earth Knight rose from the ground, fully armored and radiating the imnse strength of a Third Order powerhouse.
SCREECH!!!!
The unknown creatures let out loud, agonizing shrieks and launched themselves at the Knight. The Knight drew its massive sword and smashed it down on one... but to the Knight’s non-existent consciousness, the attack simply passed through the creature, yielding no effect.
BAM!!!
With a chilling, unexpected force, one creature struck the Knight. The construct slid backward several feet, a clear dent appearing on its earth armor.
"Wow. These things are strong, and they are immune to physical attacks!" Josephine exclaid, analyzing the combat data instantly.
"Yes, and your tal Goddess Bloodline will be useless against them too, as it specializes in physical and tallic manipulation." Sunny stated, his gaze calculating. He stared at the wraiths as dark, blood-red chains burst out from the scorched ground, binding them all in place.
"They are strong... but they can’t escape the Abyssal Chains." He watched as the chains instantly began to drain all the spiritual energy from the ghostly figures. In the next mont, the twenty wraiths shattered into dust.
{Congratulations, Master killed twenty Third Order Soul Ghosts: gained 20,000,000,000 EXP.}
’A whole one billion EXP per kill?!’ Sunny realized, the scale of this realm’s treasure trove hitting him.
’If I mine here effectively, I can easily enter the Fifth Order before leaving the Soul Secret Realm.’ He turned his head to the hovering map, where thousands of red dots represented thousands of billions of EXP.
"Ok... It seems I found a way to rank up extrely quickly," he said, a satisfied smile returning to his face.
"Really? That’s good news. How?" Josephine asked, her focus imdiately on optimization.
"By killing all of them. Can you fly stably?" he asked.
Josephine nodded. Slowly, Sunny let go of her body, ensuring she could manage her own flight before releasing her hand entirely.
"How long do you think you can maintain flight and stay hidden?" he asked, calculating the duration of the incoming massacre.
"In one place, about five hours," Josephine said, quickly calculating her energy consumption rate.
"More than enough," Sunny decided. "Stay hidden and remain safe."
Sunny descended from the sky, landing lightly in front of the damaged Earth Knight, his wings turning into dark smoke. He took in a deep breath and deliberately released his full Fourth Order spiritual energy across the entire burning city.
WHOOSH!!
SCREECH!!!!
SCREECH!!!!
SCREECH!!!!
SCREECH!!!!
The sound of thousands of loud, angry shrieks ca from all directions as the hordes registered the powerful, provocative presence. Sunny calmly sat cross-legged on the ground and closed his eyes.
"System, get ready for the maximum absorption process. I must enter the Fifth Order rank before the powerful Fourth or Fifth Order Soul Ghosts reach my location."
{Ok Host. Beginning preemptive energy stabilization.}
WHOOSH!!
The earth around Sunny moved violently, and fifty massive Earth Knights rose from the ground, creating a perfect defensive circle around him, their swords ready for a fight they couldn’t physically win, but could delay.
"Although my Knights can’t kill you, they can effectively block and delay you," Sunny whispered, anticipating their arrival.
SCREECH!!!!
Sunny opened his eyes, staring at the incoming horde of Soul Ghosts rushing toward them, wave after wave of ethereal death. With a thought, another 100 Knights appeared, forming a second, outer defensive circle.
"Here goes nothing," he murmured, his eyes closing again. He then activated the Abyssal Chains to the absolute maximum range and power.
BOOM!! BOOOM!! BOOOM!
Hundreds of huge, blood-red chains burst out from the ground like demonic tentacles, lunging toward the monsters. The chains wrapped around tens of hundreds of ghosts simultaneously, drawing on the imnse power of the Abyssal Domain. In less than ten seconds, they drained all the spiritual energy from the ghostly figures.
{Congratulations, Master killed twenty second Order Soul Ghosts: gained 10,000,000,000 EXP.}
{Congratulations, Master killed fifty Third Order Soul Ghosts: gained 50,000,000,000 EXP.}
{Congratulations, Master killed one hundred Third Order Soul Ghosts: gained 100,000,000,000 EXP.}
{Staring Absorption process.}
Josephine watched from the air as a brilliant, intense golden light glowed from Sunny’s body, shooting into the sky and creating a sudden, radiant rain of gold dust.
"....?!"
She looked down as the golden rain fell on her, and blinked in shock as she felt a fundantal shift in her own power.
"I actually entered the next rank just by exposure?" she muttered in shock.
{Congratulations, Mate entered the Third Order.}
{Congratulations, Master gained 20 Divinity.}
The slaughter continued, the Chains tearing through the ranks.
{Congratulations, Master killed forty second Order Soul Ghosts: gained 20,000,000,000 EXP.}
{Congratulations, Master broke through to the Fifth Order!!}
’Too slow,’ Sunny thought, overriding the System’s montary pause. He needed more power, faster.
Countless clones instantly burst out from his body, charging into the remaining ghosts, each clone summoning its version of the All-Changer sword. With every flash and slash, a ghost shattered into dust, and his EXP continued its teoric rise.
Sunny smirked, watching the Billions of EXP burn away, until the word he was waiting for finally sounded.
{Congratulations, Master broke through to the Sixth Order.}
Instantly, the rain of gold stopped. The movent of the entire world—the flas, the dust, the remaining wraiths—froze. Even Sunny was stunned into montary stillness as the System’s next words sounded, marking a profound, terrifying evolution of his very being.
{Congratulations!! The seventh Bloodline: Behemoth, has been unlocked.}
{Behemoth Hidden Bloodline: Bahamut has been unlocked.}
Before the world’s fozen gaze, two perfect, black dragon horns erupted from Sunny’s head. His wolf ears retracted, replaced by human ears, and then two huge, magnificent dragon wings burst out from his back, unleashing an unimaginable, suffocating energy over the land. Every single creature—the Earth Knights, the distant, frozen wraiths, and even Josephine—felt an existential chill down their spine as the presence of a true Ancient Power was unleashed.
