Now reading: Chapter 134: That Was Probably Too Much from Infinity Is My Affinity?!?, a Fantasy novel by PeachySama.

For a brief, agonizing second, the entire Hollow Cinder Mine compound seed to hold its breath at the sheer audacity of my taunt

Garek didn’t say another word either.

His hardened eyes locked onto my relaxed, seated form with a look of pure, unadulterated execution.

Then, with a guttural roar, Garek launched the car-sized boulder straight up into the air.

The massive boulder arced high at like a mortar shell, while Garek instantly dropped his center of gravity before kicking off the compacted dirt with a force explosive enough to shatter the ground beneath him as he dashed directly at under the encroaching shadow of the falling rock.

[He is... slower than Arlath. But still, if that Tier 4 at-tank actually lands a single punch on , I’m gonna pop like a blood balloon...] I calculated, keeping my physical posture perfectly relaxed despite the blaring alarms going off in my head.

[Alright... you got this.]

Keeping my cheek casually propped against my fist, I flooded MP into Ice Pebbles, and the ambient temperature around my throne plumted instantly.

Two separate, highly compressed clusters of mana manifested in the empty air directly above my head.

The first rapidly compressed into an Armor-Piercing Ice Pebble, while the second spawned highly unstable Fragntation Ice Pebbles both aid directly at the boulder.

And the next second –

-Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa-!...

-Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom-!...

Guided perfectly by my precognition, the dual-layered barrage unleashed a relentless rate of fire that would put a modern Gatling gun to absolute sha.

The AP pebbles effortlessly punched deep, structural holes into the descending rock just a microsecond before the Fragntation pebbles slipped inside the cracks and detonated.

The sheer, overwhelming volu of kinetic force shredded the massive boulder into a harmless, raining cloud of dust and gravel long before Garek even reached the halfway point.

Ignoring the raining debris around us, the massive B-Rank veteran charged right into my ten-ter domain with the terrifying, unstoppable montum of a runaway freight train.

Running perfectly in conjunction with my passive skill Phantom Imposition, my domain remained completely undetectable to his senses, offering absolutely zero shift in ambient mana to warn him of the trap.

The second his boots slamd into my periter, a thick, thorny root erupted out from the ground beneath him before wrapping around his left ankle like a steel cable, attempting to rip the charging juggernaut right off his feet.

But the root snapped with a sharp crack under the montum of his dash, though the sudden, jarring resistance did exactly what I wanted it to do.

Garek stumbled, breaking his grounded posture for a re fraction of a second.

And the mont his chest dipped forward, a double-sized, 10 MP Fragntation Ice Pebble materialized right in front of his chest before-

-Boom-!

Exploding into a freezing blast of thumb-sized, razor-sharp ice shards directly against his hardened skin.

But Garek pushed straight through it all as if it were a light morning mist, and continued his aggressive dash toward my throne without losing a single ounce of blood.

"Is that all you have, boy?!" he roared, his voice physically vibrating the dirt around .

"One tough cookie, aren’t ya?" I noted with a highly unethical grin, watching the frost simply bounce off of him.

Four Fragntation Pebbles flared to life, forming a glowing ring of pure artillery directly above my throne.

Feeding a staggering 10 MP into every single projectile, I let the automatic fire rip.

-Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Head-sized, supersonic Ice Pebbles absolutely flooded the space between us, detonating against his body with deafening, overlapping shockwaves that rattled my own teeth.

Not even a beat later, Garek’s forward dash violently slowed to a complete, agonizing halt, forcing him to cross his massive arms over his face.

Slowly but steadily, the sheer, unrelenting kinetic force of the explosions began pushing him backward.

But Garek kept his boots firmly planted in the ground, stubbornly refusing to yield his footing, but the continuous impacts forcibly skidded him backward, carving two deep, parallel trenches through the solid earth.

[Durability aside... those explosions should’ve launched him straight into the tree line by now,] I calculated, genuinely impressed as I watched the glittering frost drown him. [Is he sohow increasing his own weight to anchor himself to the terrain? Or maybe stick himself to the ground...]

Reaching his absolute boiling point, Garek dug his boots deeper into the trenches and forced a heavy, defiant step forward against the barrage.

He dropped his arms, opening his jaw wide to unleash a condensed Earth-aspected shockwave of a roar, completely shattering my incoming barrage.

The exact mont he let out his little scream, I instantly dropped my barrage, before ripping out a single, 60 MP/s reinforced root, and lunged it straight through the glittering, freezing smoke screen like a coiled snake, carrying a wicked, hardened thorn right at the tip.

But unlike a normal person, I didn’t aim for the chest.

I shoved it directly into his open mouth, plunging straight down his throat with a sickening lurch before he could even blink.

-Guk!

Pumping 60 MP/s directly into Dominium Radicis’s neurotoxin, I opened a high-pressure tap directly inside his oesophagus, letting loose a massive, concentrated torrent of my unique neurotoxin, and flushing it straight down the man’s throat and directly into his stomach.

Garek’s eyes exploded wide as his stomach visibly bloated.

Snapping both hands up on pure instinct, he gripped the thick root before frantically ripping it out of his mouth along with a spray of green, toxic saliva.

Though he managed to pull the root free, the sheer volu of the dose had long hit his bloodstream.

Almost instantly, dark green veins visibly bulged across his neck, face, and arms like a spiderweb of poison.

His incredible Earth-aspected durability couldn’t do a single thing against a biological attack from the inside.

He stumbled a single step forward, his incredibly wide, terrified eyes staring right at my face as I tilted in confusion on the root throne as his nervous system completely crashed.

Through gritted teeth, he spat out a mouthful of green saliva along with a- "Bastard..."

And the very next second, his eyes rapidly rolled back into his skull before his body collapsed face-first into the dirt with an earth-shaking thud.

"Oo-kay...? Was that too much?" I blurted, staring at the twitching ss on the ground. I thought the dude would slow down a little or sothing... I an, he’s Tier 4!

And all I got in reply was a side eye from the System.

"Let’s... just get him to the infirmary..."
