"This guy is delusional." Alex could not help but comnt from the side.
His comnt seed to have irked Kevin as he glared at him. But, this did not intimidate Alex in the slightest, as he just continued looking at him as though he was looking at a fool.
This ended up irritating Kevin even further. For a mont, he almost impulsively ordered the group of ruffians behind him to attack.
But, he was able to hold himself back, as he understood the consequences of doing that. While his family might have so deep underworld connection and background, it was not enough to be able to deal with all the families behind the group gathered in front of him.
"Okay, let’s set the matter regarding Kate aside for the ti being. Now, let’s talk about this brat. How about this, I’m going to give you so benefits, and you allow to teach this brat a lesson.
Even if it is going to be difficult for to be able to get her, he definitely cannot get close to her." Kevin took a deep breath before he spoke.
"Let ask you sothing. Are you an idiot, or are you just too tired of using your brain? If you are not going to use that brain of yours, why not donate it to soone else who might find it useful?" Alex asked with a puzzled expression on his face.
This guy, he was talking about them allowing him to deal with Michael. But, did he not know that Michael’s background was way above their own families?
If he needed to ask for permission from them in order to deal with soone, it was clear that he was not willing to go against them. But if he was not even capable of dealing with their backgrounds, how was he capable of dealing with Michael’s?
"Are you intentionally provoking ? Don’t tell , do you think that I am afraid of your Walter family?" Kevin asked as he pointed the baseball bat at Alex once again.
This ti, the anger on his face could not be hidden at all. It seed, Alex’s words had provoked him to the extent that he was about to erupt.
"What? You can’t handle being told the truth? Why don’t you go back and do your investigation, to see who it is that you are intending to deal with?
Your family cannot deal with my Walter family. What gives you the confidence of dealing with him?" Alex asked as he folded his arms in front of his chest.
Alex’s words made Kevin frown. He then looked at Michael, trying to see through him.
Was it possible that this guy really had so background? And, was this also the reason why Alex and the others were willing to go against him and his family, to protect this brat?
"Is he not just a nouveau riche? He won a lottery, winning so big money. But, is that enough to make you guys protect him like this?" Kevin asked with a puzzled expression on his face.
This was just sothing that he could not understand. His interaction with Alex and the others was not that frequent. But even then, they had interacted several tis, and he knew quite a lot about them.
They might like enjoying themselves out there, but neither of them was an idiot. This was sothing that he knew about them, so, he could not understand why they would do sothing like this.
To him, it felt as though it was not worth it for them to provoke a big enemy just for so useless friend.
"You are helpless." Raymond shook his head as he responded.
Kevin was just about to say sothing else when suddenly, Dalton moved and stood in front of him.
Dalton’s fra was quite intimidating, making Kevin to take several steps back. At the sa ti, the group of ruffians behind him all glared at Dalton, gripping the weapons in their hands tightly.
From the expressions on their faces, it was clear that if Dalton tried to do sothing, they would not hesitate to attack him.
Dalton on the other hand was not intimidated at all. Instead, he looked at Kevin with narrowed eyes as he said, "Do you think that just because you are from so gangster background, you can act all arrogant out here?
If you continue stirring trouble here, I will smack you to the ground. You and this group of useless kids behind you, I will beat you all up until your family cannot recognize you.
So, I’m giving you 5 seconds. Within 5 seconds, I want you to scram from here. Otherwise, I cannot promise that I will hold back."
Dalton’s words, and the scar on his cheek was quite intimidating, especially as he glared at Kevin, with his imposing fra.
Kevin felt a chill running down his spine as he faced Dalton.
Dalton was usually soone who spoke less and did more. For him to speak so much, it was clear that he was already holding back.
Kevin knew a lot about Dalton. He was a great fighter, and was involved in several fights. Even the scar on his cheek had been left during a fight.
Additionally, he was well known to be soone who usually did what he said. Since he said that he would take action, then that wasn’t a lie.
He did not doubt that Dalton had the ability of beating him together with the group behind him. The record that this guy had set was well known to many people.
"You!" Kevin seed to be angered, as he pointed his finger at Dalton. But, he retracted it in the next mont, when he saw that Dalton’s expression was shifting again.
Then, he nodded as he said, "Good! Good!"
After seeing that, he gazed at Michael behind Dalton and said, "You brat, just wait. You think that just because they are protecting you, they will continue protecting you all the ti?
The next ti that we et, we will settle all the scores. At that ti, I will make you understand what it ans to ss with ."
Kevin wanted to continue his trash talk when he realized that Dalton had begun moving. It seed, Dalton was already in patient with him.
Upon realizing this, he quickly scurried off together with the group that he had brought.
And as the group left, the small crowd that had been attracted over also began dispersing, disappointed that the show that they had been anticipating did not happen.
"Michael, don’t worry about him. We will personally take care of him." Alex spoke after Kevin and the others had left.
"There is no need. If he tries coming after , then he can only bla himself." Michael shook his head as he responded.
Alex and the others nodded. Since that was the case, then there was no need for them to take action.
Even if the families behind each one of them took action, to go against Kevin’s family, it was inevitable that they would suffer so losses, no matter how small.
Additionally, considering that Kevin’s family was involved with the underworld, they would usually use so unscrupulous thods.
At that ti, it would be quite complicated to deal with them. And if there was a possibility that they had even deeper connections, this issue would beco very troubleso to deal with, unless Michael’s background was involved.
Since Michael had decided that he would deal with Kevin, then there was no problem. Additionally, neither of them believed that Michael did not have the ability of dealing with Kevin.
"Adrian, let’s go." Michael said as he turned to look at Adrian, who was standing next to him.
"Yes." Adrian responded as he held the door open for Michael to get into the car.
After that, he got into the driver’s seat, before he drove away.
Alex and the others watched as the car drove into the distance.
"Raymond, I feel that there is sothing off about Kevin. That guy, even though he is usually so arrogant, just like you, but he does have so brains. It is completely unlike him to co after soone after just receiving so rumors." Alex suddenly spoke several monts later.
"Hey, who are you calling arrogant?" Raymond seed to have been provoked by Alex’s comparison of him and Kevin.
Still, he continued and said, "As long as soone tries to investigate, with a family background like Kevin’s, it is impossible for them not to know that Michael is not a simple figure.
Just from the fact that he is the one that acquired Sky Technologies, it is already enough to cause a lot of trouble. Not to ntion the background behind him, just Sky Technologies by itself is not that easy to deal with."
"Do you think, is there a possibility that there is soone manipulating things behind the scenes? But, why would they target Michael? Is it possible that it is soone who is an enemy from the central province?
Otherwise, within this city, I don’t think that there is anyone who can provoke Michael, especially by using soone like Kevin." Alex laid out his doubts.
Alex understood Kevin and his family. Since they were not involved in the sa field, they had not clashed. But of course, he had seen the clash between Kevin’s family and other families.
He knew just how powerful Kevin’s family was, and the thods that they usually used. So, it seed so unlikely for Kevin to do sothing this stupid.
"That is a possibility. But, we cannot be sure for now. So, let do so inquiries first." Raymond thought for a mont, before he responded.
