"What is going on? Are you sure that soone took the mission, and claid that it would be completed yesterday?" Ronald asked.
At the mont, he was inside his study in his mansion, where the Kingsley family was located. Currently, inside the study was Anthony, whom Ronald was asking.
"That is how it was supposed to be. But for so reason, there has been no response at all since yesterday night." Anthony responded.
At the mont, Anthony had several bandages wrapped around his head, including part of the face. He was kind of funny to look at.
The reason why he was like this was due to the attack that he had received from Michael, knocking him unconscious. Lucky for him, Michael had no intention of killing him back then.
Otherwise, it would not have been so minor injuries, and instead, he would have been left with a crushed skull.
Upon hearing Anthony’s response, Ronald frowned. At the sa ti, he felt that there was sothing wrong.
Was it possible that the assassin had failed? Otherwise, considering that the person who had taken the mission was of a high level, they would have already killed that kid by now.
But for so reason, all was silent, as if nothing had happened at all.
At the sa ti, he had a bad feeling in his heart. Even though they had planned well, making sure that even if soone investigated about the assassination attempt, they would link it to soone else, it was still problematic to deal with.

"Got it." Anthony nodded before he left the study to relay the command given.
Ronald was left behind, still in deep thought. He was wondering, was it the right decision to try to assassinate Michael?
If there was a possibility that this assassination was linked back to him, it would be troubleso. After all, previously, if they had clashed, at most, they would only have to fail in their business venture.
But an assassination attempt would lead to a far much worse fate. There was even a possibility that they might end up being killed in turn.
Despite thinking a lot, Ronald could not co up with a solution. So, he could only rub his temples slightly, to ease the slight headache that had begun appearing.
’I guess I better focus on sothing else. Maybe I should start planning for a retreat.’ Ronald contemplated.
Thinking about that, he took several docunts from the desk that he was sitting behind, before he began writing sothing.
But he had only written for a little while when he was interrupted when soone barged into the study.
Having put a lot of concentration in making the plan, Ronald was imdiately irritated due to the interruption.
He looked up, before he questioned with a severe expression on his face, "What is it? Do you not know how to knock?"
"Sorry, boss. But, sothing big has happened." Anthony quickly apologized before he said what had brought him there.
"What? Are mountains collapsing, to the extent of making you lose your composure like this?" Ronald, with a frown on his face, asked.
"No, but boss, this is big." Anthony quickly shook his head as he responded.
"What is it? Can you just say it already? I have sothing that I need to deal with, I don’t have ti to waste." Ronald got impatient.
"The information on us has been leaked online. The information includes all the dark secrets of the Kingsley family, such as tax evasion, quality problems and so on.
The information has been spread, and it is already trending on several search engines and short video platforms, with many people already beginning to boycott our supermarket chain.
The shares of the supermarket chain have already began plumting, and several banks have already called, asking us to pay back the loans.
Several people that we have a cooperation with have already begun canceling the cooperation, with several employees beginning to strike, asking for their pay..." Anthony quickly explained what was happening.

Upon hearing what was really happening, Ronald slamd his hand hard on the desk as he stood up. His expression told it all.
He was furious, but confused at the sa ti. Of course, he would be angry, when he saw that everything that he had worked so hard to build, was so easily collapsing.
Then, the confusion ca, not understanding who was targeting them. It was clear, whoever it was that was targeting them was not that simple.
After all, just from what he had heard from Anthony, it was clear that the information was so much detailed. It was not that easy to be able to gain so much intelligence on them, without them knowing a thing about it.
Many of the things ntioned by Anthony had already been covered up, or had happened several years ago. Most people had already forgotten about them, only for them to be dug out at this point.
"Do you have any idea on who might be targeting us?" Arnold took a deep breath before he asked.
He understood, at the mont, he had to remain calm. He had to find a quick solution on how to deal with this issue.
"We have quite a number of enemies, but I doubt that any one of them is capable of doing this. But, the most probable person might be that kid, Michael." Anthony thought for a mont before he responded.
Ronald nodded, as he had also thought the sa. Even though they had made enemies, none of them was capable of eliminating them within just an instant.
If they had the capabilities, they would have already dealt with the Kingsley family long ago. After all, the Kingsley family was known to be domineering.
They used all types of thods in order to deal with their enemies, to the extent of eliminating so of them completely. As for those that they could not completely eliminate, they made sure to cripple them.
Ronald took out his phone, before he made a call to his personal assistant.
Today, the personal assistant was at work, while he remain at ho, waiting for the news of the assassination. But now, he had no other choice but to contact his assistant.
"Try to make sure that everything is stabilized. Stabilize the workers, the banks, and our partners, at least to make sure that things don’t just collapse completely. I will try to find a solution." As soon as the call connected, Ronald instructed.
After that, he ended the call, as he contemplated what to do. At the mont, everything pointed towards Michael, showing that he might be the one who had made a move on the Kingsley family.
But the problem was that, there was no evidence at all. Still, the probability was high, considering that even the assassination had most probably failed.
At this mont, the door of the study was opened, before a wheelchair rolled in. Sitting on the wheelchair was none other than David, who had been discharged from the hospital.
According to the hospital, he was supposed to continue staying in the hospital to be monitored, but he refused. Since that was the case, he was discharged, but had been staying at ho since he ca back yesterday.
"Dad, what’s going on? The entire mansion is in chaos." David asked with a puzzled expression as soon as he entered the study.
