On the coffee table there appeared a small silver tallic cube, smooth, and polished, with no visible openings or controls.
Michael looked at it curiously, before he picked it up. He was quite surprised to find out that it was very light. By estimation, the weight of this cube did not exceed 100 grams. As for the size, it was just 5 cm in terms of dinsions.
This made him quite surprised considering that this cube was supposed to transform into a laptop. Just how was it going to be able to transform into a laptop, despite possessing such low weight?
This level of technology, it was just extraordinary. It was no wonder that it only existed in science fiction ideas, and not in the world at the mont, well, maybe apart from the one that he had.
After observing it, there was actually nothing special about it. It looked just like an ordinary cube, with the only thing special about it being the material that the cube was made of.
If it was dropped on the side of the road, many people would definitely ignore it. As for others, they might find it a little interesting at first, but then lose interest later on.
After having enough observation, Michael pressed the top and the bottom of the cube, which were indicated by arrows that pointed up.
This thod of activation was sothing that he had learned when he made the purchase of the laptop.
As soon as he finished pressing it, a transformation occurred.
As his thumb pressed down while his index and middle fingers applied pressure from below, the silver cube ward instantly, its surface shimring as fine lines of light spread across it.
The tal began to flow outward, unfolding and multiplying in layers, expanding far beyond its original 5cm form. Thin panels slid free, growing longer and broader, edges stretching as if drawn from the cube itself.
In seconds, the mass reconfigured and widened, solidifying into a full-sized laptop resting across his hand, as the last traces of the compact cube were absorbed into its fra.
Michael was amazed by this transformation. If not for the fact that he knew that this cube could transform into a laptop, he would have been freaked out by this transformation.
Even as the laptop rested on top of his palm, Michael noticed that despite the change in size, the weight did not change at all.
Looking at the laptop that looked very advanced, Michael placed it on his lap, before he began observing it.
For the brand, it did not have any. It was as if it was just a model that had been created, not yet for sale.
The laptop was ultra-thin, made of smooth silver tal with seamless edges and no visible hinges or vents. Its surface was smooth and reflective, with a clear, luminous display and a minimalist, refined design.
Looking at the laptop, it could easily make soone misunderstand its capabilities. Additionally, without the ports being visible, one might think that it did not support HDMI cables, USB drives and other interfaces.
The Advanced technology that was used in making this laptop made it so that so things could not be seen unless needed.
So, despite its seamless appearance, the laptop did support HDMI, USB drives, and other interfaces. The ports were adaptive and hidden. They remained invisible until needed, then ford precisely at the edge or surface when a compatible cable or device was brought close. Wireless equivalents were also supported by default.
It was just that, due to the technology that was used in making this laptop, it would not be ideal to use this laptop in public. Otherwise, it would raise so concerns.
The good thing about it was the fact that it could transform into a watch and other forms. Additionally, it was not as though Michael wanted to use this as a laptop. Instead, it was just the anchor for the super intelligent AI.
Michael pressed the power button on the laptop, and the machine ca to life. As the laptop powered on, the silver surface dimd slightly while the display ca alive with a gentle glow.
A brief pulse of light swept across the screen, then settled into perfect stillness. A mont later, a voice erged, neither chanical nor fully human.
"System online," it said evenly. "Cognitive core synchronized. Identity confird, Michael Santos."
A short pause then followed, before the voice sounded again, "I am fully operational. How may I assist you?"
Michael imdiately understood that the AI had already integrated into the laptop. So, at the mont, it was almost as though the laptop had gotten a pilot.
Good thing, the laptop supported voice command. So, Michael placed the laptop on the coffee table, before he gave a voice command, "Transform into a smartwatch."
At Michael’s command, the laptop’s surface shimred as if liquid, the silver body shifting and folding in on itself.
The AI’s voice echoed softly, "Command received."
Panels then compressed, edges curved, and the once-wide fra contracted, layers sliding fluidly together. In just 2 seconds, the laptop had condensed into a tallic smartwatch resting on the table, its display glowing clearly.
"Configuration complete," the AI said. "All functions remain available."
Michael was impressed by the fact that the transformation of the laptop into a smartwatch only took two seconds. Since that was the case, it would be able to help in so occasions, though, he would not mind if it would have been faster.
Michael picked up the smartwatch from the coffee table, observing it closely. The screen of the smartwatch was currently on, showing the current ti and date.
As he scrolled through the smartwatch to see the features that it possessed, he realized that it was not much different from a laptop. It had all the features of a laptop, despite having the form of a smartwatch.
If soone else was given this smartwatch, they would be impressed by this level of technology.
Though, one thing that he noted was the fact that, despite the change in form, the weight was always constant.
After observing it for a while, Michael wore it on his wrist.
After wearing the watch, Michael contemplated for a mont before he asked, "So, how should I address you?"
"Currently, I don’t have a na. Master can decide on the na on which I will go by." The AI swiftly responded.
Michael contemplated for a few seconds before he decided, "From today onwards, I will be referring to you as Onyx."
"Na received. Onyx awaiting command." The AI responded. And this ti, Michael thought that he could feel so emotions within the voice of the AI.
"Okay, for now, just connect to the internet, and absorb as much information as possible. After that, I would like you to make sure that any information related to is hidden. But don’t hide the information that its disappearance will cause concerns." Michael instructed.
"Understood. Initiating now." Onyx responded. At the sa ti, the screen of the smartwatch suddenly dimd, before it went off.
Of course, only the screen was off, but the smartwatch was still functioning. Additionally, considering that the AI was present, Michael did not need to actively control it.
He could just use voice command in order to have Onyx do for him what he wanted to do. The only exception would be in a situation where he was among a group of people.
Michael then ignored the AI, deciding to relax. He would start pushing another skill to the expert level tomorrow. But for now, he decided to relax by going to play so gas.
The villa had an entertainnt room, and several arcade gas were available. So, Michael went there to play. It was just that, due to his current abilities, so gas that required reflexes were just too easy for him.
In the end, he decided to settle for strategy gas, as at least, he would get so challenge.

The following morning, Michael woke up, before he began doing as he had planned. The skill that he was going to push to the expert level this ti was creative writing.
Creative writing was the art of weaving thoughts, emotions, and stories into words that captivated the mind. It allowed a person to craft vivid characters, build compelling worlds, and shape narratives that resonated, provoked, or entertained, transforming simple ideas into experiences that lingered long after the page was closed.
Due to the fact that he already possessed script writing skills and songwriting skills, when he began reading on this skill, it actually began at 90% of the beginner level.
It was only at this point that Michael finally began enjoying the fruits of the efforts that he had been putting for several days now. And as ti went on, there might even co a ti where he would start a skill imdiately at the expert level.
Unfortunately, no matter how many skills he had, it would not automatically unlock other skills. Otherwise, by now, he was supposed to be having quite a number of skills at beginner level.
Ti elapsed, and slightly over 3 hours later, Michael completed pushing the skill to the expert level, gaining another 6,011 SP.
Looking at the ti on the smartwatch on his wrist, Michael realized that it was already 9:23 a.m.
So, he got out of bed, freshened up, before he went to the living room after changing into another set of clothes.
Michael did not have to wait for long, before the bell rang, indicating that there was soone at the door.
