Looking at all the categories that were displayed in front of him, Michael felt his heart skip a beat.

After a thought, he accessed the electronics and appliances category. The mont that he did that, he found that there were different kinds of electronics, which included laptops, phones and so on.

Simply put, anything that was considered as an electronic and an appliance was in this category. It was just that, looking at the brief introduction of each item, he could tell that none of them was cheap.

At least, with his current financial situation, it was impossible for him to be able to get them.

But, it was completely different right now, considering that the cheapest item within the store was priced at 0.01 store points. And at the mont, he had an entire one point.

Looking at the dazzling array of items, Michael almost impulsively made several purchases. Still, he managed to hold himself back, as he decided to explore the other categories first.

One by one, he began accessing the other categories, realizing that whatever was within those categories, they were quite expensive.

Additionally, looking at the brands and so on, it was clear that every item that was within this store could be found in real life.

This was to be expected, considering that paperwork had to be done by the system, if he made a purchase.

And when he looked at the real estate and property, Michael realized that he could actually purchase even land.

In fact, he could even buy an island. But just looking at the price, Michael shook his head, realizing that it was impossible for him to make a purchase, at least for now.

Finally, Michael’s gaze settled on the conversion center. This was the only category that he had not explored.

The mont that he thought about accessing this category, only information was displayed in front of him.

Other than this, there was nothing else. But, there was a piece of information that appeared in his mind, making sure that he understood what was going on.

It turned out that the SP could be converted into cash. As for the conversion rate, just as displayed by the screen in front of him, a single SP was equal to $100,000!

This was quite crazy! Right now, Michael’s saving could not even reach $30. This was the amount that he had set aside for purchasing food.

As for any other money, he had already spent all of it, making purchases for the books that he was studying.

But, to be told, that just a single SP point was enough for him to be able to change his life completely, it was just unbelievable.

But with the facts displayed in front of him, Michael had no other choice but to believe.

Apart from the information on the conversion of the SP points into cash, it was clearly stated that cash could not be converted into SP points.

Additionally, the items within the store could not be purchased using money. Only SP points could be used to purchase the items within the store.

Regardless, why would Michael want to spend money and convert it into SP? He was so poor in that, he wanted to directly convert the SP to money, not to ntion the vice versa...

Michael fell into a mont of contemplation. He was thinking, what was he supposed to do? With all these items available within the store, he could make several purchases.

According to the conversion rate, it seed that a single item, the cheapest within the store, was valued at $1,000.

This amount of money, for soone as poor as Michael, it was life-changing.

Despite working as an accountant at the gang, his work was simply to record the information on the money. It was not as if the money belonged to him.

In fact, there were strict regulations within the gang, which made sure that he would not lie about the money in the records.

After contemplating for a while, Michael ca to a decision.

Right now, the main problem that he was experiencing was the lack of money. As for the SP points, he could earn them as long as he studied.

But, what was he supposed to study if he did not even have the money to purchase the books that he required? So, right now, the best decision was to convert the point into cash.

With enough money, he would be able to acquire enough resources, which would make it easier for him to be able to study, gaining new skills or advancing the ones that he had.

But then, he thought, was it possible to convert just about 0.1 points into cash, and then use the rest of the points in purchasing sothing from the store?

He had only thought of that when suddenly, another piece of information appeared in his mind. It was clear, the minimum amount of points to be converted into cash was 1 point, without a maximum limit.

This frustrated him slightly. After all, $100,000 was way beyond what he needed right now. In fact, just a few hundred dollars would be able to change his life, as he could purchase a phone, together with other resources.

Regardless, since this was the restriction, there was nothing that he could change about it.

Despite feeling reluctant, Michael went ahead and did the conversion. Feeling a tinge of pain in his heart, he watched as his current balance turned from one to zero.

But at the sa ti, his phone suddenly received a notification.

With anticipation in his eyes, Michael picked up the phone, realizing that it was a ssage from the bank.

{ $100,000 has been credited into your account 23*******83. Current balance, $100,010.}

From the ssage and the balance, Michael could imdiately tell that it was true, the system was real.

Despite the information within his mind about the system being present, it was always hard to believe that soone would be able to get sothing like this, without doing anything!

At the end of it all, it was not as if he was the only one who was diligently studying. He was also not the only one who was in trouble and in need of money.

So, so doubts might arise about why he was the one who received the system, and not soone else.

This might involve luck, but at the sa ti, it could be a scam, or even a prank. It was just that, with his current status, who would even want to scam him?

As for a prank, he was not that familiar with many people, and among those that he knew, there was not even a single one of them that was capable of playing such a high level prank on him.

This only left the system being real being the highest possibility. But, it was only after he had received the ssage from the bank that he finally felt relieved.

As for the reason why there was only $10 in his account initially, it was because the $18 were on him in cash.

Michael almost wanted to rush out of the apartnt right now and head to the market and make purchases.

But considering that it was already almost midnight, and his apartnt was located in a very poor district, he decided against it.

Shops in this area closed very early, by around 7:00, it was quite difficult to be able to find an open shop. As for why that was the case, it was due to the rampant criminal activities and the domination of gangs within the area.

As for the police, what could they do? They arrested gangsters everyday, but on the sa day, or the following day, the gangsters would be back on the streets once again.

This clearly implied that these gangsters were not that simple, implying that they could not be uprooted easily.

After taking a deep breath, Michael decided to sleep, wait for morning to co. It was just that, he felt completely restless, making sleeping difficult.

Still, at around 2:00 a.m., he managed to sleep. When he opened his eyes again, it was already 6 in the morning.

Without any hesitation, he got out of bed, got a pair of clothes and toiletries, before heading out.

This apartnt building did not have each apartnt having its own bathroom. It was shared, though there was a division between male and female washrooms.

When he got to the washroom, Michael was lucky not to find anyone there. So, he quickly took a shower, changed into the pair of clean clothes, before heading back to his room.

After getting back in his room, he took his phone, confird the balance once again, before stepping out. There was nothing else that he required, other than the phone, he was going shopping after all.

But he had only stepped out of the apartnt building when suddenly, he stopped. He realized, he still had to go to work today.

He worked everyday, from 7:00 in the morning all the way to 6:00 in the evening. If he did not go to work, they will co looking for him.

Even though he currently had money, and a thod of earning more in the future, this was sothing that was going to take quite a while. And right now, he did not really have a thod of resisting those gangsters.

Despite his reluctance, Michael made a quick decision. He decided, he would head to work first, and in the afternoon, during lunch hour, he would head out for the purchases.
