"All of this is because of that punk, Michael Santos. I knew that he was close to the girl that I set my eyes on. So, I decided to teach him a lesson.
I never expected that he had a very influential background. So, the mont that I decided to take action against him, he actually used so thod in order to reveal the dirt on my family.

If there was anyone that he hated, it would be none other than Michael. After all, he was the reason why he had lost everything. If not for Michael, why would he be in a situation where he was poisoned by the food that he ate?
Just thinking about the pain that he had endured, he felt like capturing Michael, and tearing his skin to shreds. He had to tornt that guy, to make sure that he also felt what he had gone through the previous day and today.
While Kevin was still thinking about how to deal with Michael, Jeffrey on the other hand was silent for quite a while. This answer that he had received, it was completely unexpected.
From the looks of it, the green family was dealt with, not because soone was trying to sabotage their plans, but because they had offended soone.
Even though Kevin had not given a detailed explanation of what had really happened, he could already guess. This kid was obviously using his family influence to try and bully soone. In the end, it turned out that he was going to kick an iron plate, ending up in this state.
But there was one thing that he knew. This thod that this guy called Michael had used, it was the sa thod that was used in dealing with the Kingsley family. So, he thought that there was a high probability that it was the sa Michael who had dealt with the Kingsley family.
And if that was the case, it implied that this kid had quite a background. After all, judging by the movents of Annex supermarket chain, it was clear that not just anybody could do it.
The amount of capital that was invested for annex supermarket chain to be able to expand province-wide, not just anyone could take that out.
As for why he was sure that the one behind Annex Supermarket chain was the one that was involved with the fall of the Kingsley family, it was simply because of the fact that the thod that he used to deal with the gangsters was the sa one used on the Kingsley family.
’From the looks of it, it seems that even the Kingsley family offended this guy sohow. Or maybe, they were taken out because of competition, instead of him trying to sabotage our plans.’ Jeffrey thought as he rubbed his chin.
At the mont, the probability of the plans that they had made leaking was quite low. There was quite a great possibility that all of this was just a coincidence.
But then again, Jeffrey thought of sothing else. He looked at giving and asked, "For how long have you known this girl, and when did he show up close to her?"
"That girl? I have known her for over 3 months now. As for him, he only appeared beside her last month." Kevin responded without much thought.
Jeffrey was silent once again, as he thought of a possibility that this might have been a setup. After all, maybe soone was just trying to clear themselves by claiming that this was just a coincidence.
But still, from the looks of it, the probability was quite low.
"Do you know that girl well? Or you only know about her from an investigation?" Jeffrey asked once again.
"Her? I know her. She is from the Morgan family. She is the police officer, and recently went out for a training program. But the training program doesn’t really last that long, and she should be back by next year." Kevin hastily responded.
Jeffrey nodded at that. Now, he was sure, this was not so kind of plan. Instead, it was just a coincidence.
But why was it that coincidence after coincidence occurred, only to ruin their plans? This was sothing that was quite suspicious, but unfortunately, he had no answer to the question.
"Okay, I want you to tell all the information that you have on this person called Michael. The more detailed the information, the better," Jeffrey instructed.
At the mont, he had to know who they were dealing with. That way, he would be able to know what to do in what situation.
"I did an investigation on him. According to the information that I managed to obtain, it seems that he is kind of related to Sky Technologies. The information that I acquired did not state clearly what kind of relationship he has with Sky Technologies.
Still, that kid usually hangs out with Alex from the world of family, Raymond from the Morgan family, and even Dalton from the Anders family, together with others from so influential families within the city.
It is just that I don’t understand how he has the capability of dealing with my family. There is a possibility that it was the Morgan family and the Walter family that were involved in this." Kevin explained.
Jeffrey did not bother to respond, despite the surprise that he had received. He had not expected that this kid, who was most probably involved with Annex supermarket chain, was actually involved with Sky Technologies as well.
And as he thought about it, he suddenly rembered sothing. A few weeks ago, while they were enjoying themselves in a club, soone had ntioned sothing about Sky Technologies.
That guy had claid that the new owner of Sky Technologies was a youngster, most probably from the Central province. At that ti, he completely dismissed those words, thinking that the guy was simply drunk talking.
But now, the probability of that was almost 100%. If this kid was really from the central province, and it was the sa person that had dealt with the Green and the Kingsley family, then this was not going to be easy to deal with.
No matter how big the dark society was, it would have problems when it ca to dealing with those from the central province. Of course, only those with backgrounds from the central province.
Still, he found that Kevin was quite an idiot. He did not even bother to investigate clearly who it was that he wanted to deal with, before he recklessly went to deal with him.
And now, it seed that it was Kevin who had actually sabotaged their plans. If not for him provoking that kid, would the Green family have been taken out?
Thinking about this, and rembering how Thomas had spoken, Jeffrey decided in his mind. This kid had to pay the price for the mistake that he had done, even if it was done unknowingly.
"Alright. Do you have any other information that you would like to let know?" Jeffrey asked.
Even though this kid seed to be quite careless, if he had a more information, maybe Jeffrey would be able to get a clue on who they were actually dealing with.
Despite already thinking of the possibility that it was the sa person, who was involved with Annex supermarket chain and Sky Technologies, Jeffrey was cautious.
To Jeffrey’s question, Kevin shook his head. He had not interacted with Michael that much, and the information that he had gotten, he did not pay my attention to it. He only saw that Michael had so relationship with Sky Technologies, and he thought that Michael might have a relative who was an executive in that company.
Jeffrey took out his phone, before he made a call to Thomas.
"How is it? Is everything going right?" Thomas’s voice ca through the phone’s earpiece as soon as the call connected.
"Yes, I have. Still, there is soone that I need to get information on. It is soone called Michael Santos. Could you help investigate if he is related to Sky Technologies, and Annex supermarket chain?" Jeffrey replied.
There was a mont of silence, before Thomas responded, "Okay, give a minute or two."
Imdiately after that, the call ended.
For Thomas, it was not much of a problem for him to be able to find this information. After all, with dark society being the biggest gang in the Eastern province, it had quite a lot of connections.
So, as Jeffrey waited, his phone suddenly began ringing again. The call ca from Thomas.
"Boss." Jeffrey received the call.
"It is verified. This person called Michael Santos is related to those two. He is the owner of both Annex Supermarket chain and Sky Technologies. The acquisition of both of them was within less than a month." Thomas said in a low voice.
After that, he asked, "Tell , why did you want the information on this kid? Don’t tell , is he involved in anyway regarding the sabotaging of our plans? If so, things are going to get complicated. It is going to be complicated, to the extent that the plan might entirely fail."
