Dwayne sat on his chair, failing to believe that Michael was the one who had acquired the shares.
With Michael holding 46% of the shares at the mont, it implied that he had the greatest power and say within the corporation.
So, if Michael intended to change sothing within the company, it would be quite simple. That was unless Dwayne could gather the other shareholders, so that they could suppress Michael with the remaining 54% of the shares.
As long as both of them had the sa thought, and were against Michael’s decisions, it was inevitable that Michael would have to give in.
But of course, this was sothing that was only going to be considered in case the future of Vanguard Corporation was in jeopardy. Otherwise, it would be almost impossible to be able to convince the other shareholders to go against Michael, without knowing his background.
After all, with Michael holding 46% of the shares, and within such a short ti, everyone could easily tell that Michael did not have a simple background.
Going against him would obviously end up creating so form of enmity. And if they could not deal with his background, they might end up losing much more than just the shares that they held within Vanguard Corporation.
While he was still pondering about this, he decided, he would first have to know what Michael’s intentions were, before knowing what step to take next.
While he was usually a pessimistic person, usually considering the negatives first, before the positives, this ti, he decided to hold back first. He had to wait, otherwise, if he took action prematurely, and it turned out that Michael had no intention of ssing with Vanguard corporation, would he not suffer an unnecessary loss?
Previously, when he was investigating about Michael, he had managed to find a few hints, pointing towards the Santos family. It was just that, there was no definitive evidence that proved that Michael was from the Santos family.
At first, he realized that apart from the basic information that they possessed on Michael, he could not find any other information on him at all.
In the end, he decided to resort to another strategy, to investigate the Santos family. Investigating such a big family was obviously not a small issue.
But due to the connections that he had built over the years, he was able to find a few pieces of information.
Even though he did not find any information regarding Michael Santos within the Santos family, there was sothing that told him of another possibility.
After all, the eldest son of the current leader of the Santos family had eloped with a pregnant woman, who was his girlfriend back then. They had never officially gotten married, at least not under the approval of the Santos family.
It was just that, when Dwayne did the investigation regarding this eldest son of the Santos family, he realized that just like Michael, he could not find any information on them.
He did not even know where they had gone to, and what their current situation was. This made him link the possibility that Michael might actually be the son of the eldest son of the current leader of the Santos family.
Even though it was not a guarantee, but still, there was a possibility that there was a connection between Michael and the Santos family.
And who were the Santos family? They were actually amongst the top most powers within this nation. They were not easy to provoke.
If not for the favors that many of the connections that he had owed him, it would have been almost impossible for Dwayne to be able to get much information on the Santos family.
As he was thinking about this, he decided that it was ti for him to go back ho and rest. Not to ntion a lot of work that he had done during the day, he still needed to settle his mind concerning the sudden acquisition of shares by Michael.

On Michael’s side, he did not know what was happening outside Brenton city. After all, those people were mainly communicating directly, or it was just Dwayne’s own thoughts, sothing that Onyx could not access.
Regardless, when Michael was inford by Adrian that the 32% shares had already been acquired, it was already around 6 in the evening.
Finally, it was ti to acquire the remaining 56% of the shares of Vanguard Corporation, making him the sole owner of the security firm.
Without hesitation, Michael accessed the system store, before he searched for Vanguard Corporation. After that, he saw that he could purchase 54% of the shares of Vanguard Corporation.
As for the price, it was just as he had calculated before, 399,600 points. As soon as he confird the purchase, the points were deducted, with his balance dropping to 148,621 points.
Despite the expenditure, if the SP was converted into cash at the mont, it would be equivalent to $14.8621 billion.
With this amount of SP, he could buy a few more small companies in different provinces, just to increase his foundation. But for now, Michael did not intend to do that.
Instead, he thought, he would provide convenience for the growth of sky technologies. In case there was sothing that needed to be dealt with as soon as possible, or there was problem with the acquisition, he would use SP to deal with it.
While he was still thinking about this, his phone suddenly began ringing. Looking at the screen, he realized that it was Dwayne who was calling him.
This left Michael slightly puzzled. After all, previously, after he had purchased the shares of Sky Technologies, none of the previous shareholders called him.
As for Martin, who was the CEO of Sky Technologies, he did not own any shares of sky technologies. He only contacted him, because he was the one that was in charge of the operations of the entire company.
But now, unexpectedly, the founder of Vanguard Corporation was actually calling him? But as Michael thought about it, he realized that this was almost the sa situation with Martin?
After all, unlike Sky Technologies that the shareholders did not actively engage in the managent, Dwayne was the CEO of Vanguard Corporation. So, it was to be expected that he would call him after the acquisition, right?

Through his human insight skill, Michael was able to detect the emotional fluctuations within Dwayne’s voice. At the mont, Michael could detect the feeling of both joy, and hope at the sa ti. Apart from that, there was also admiration.
And the words that Dwayne said left Michael completely dumbfounded. The issue concerning the money being deposited into Dwayne’s account had not much of an impact.

But the thing that left him dumbfounded was regarding Dwayne’s words regarding the agreent between the two of them. When did he even make an agreent with Dwayne?
It was just now that Michael had completed the purchase of the shares, so, how co they had co to an agreent before?
Regardless, Michael thought that this was possibly the manipulation by the system. This made him more amazed by the power of the system.
After all, it was able to manipulate Dwayne to believe that he had communicated with Michael before, and they had made an agreent.
Despite that, Michael did not linger on this issue for long. Instead, he thought about Dwayne’s words that he would be the one that would continue managing the business.
This was actually sothing that Michael was not much worried about, as he was prepared to purchase a bio human to go and deal with that.
But since Dwayne was going to be in charge, then there was not going to be much of a problem. He was much more aware of the operations of the company, and more than that, most of the connections that had been established were kind of based to Dwayne himself.
So, it was indeed much better to have Dwayne continue as the CEO of Vanguard Corporation. After all, it would not affect any of his plans at all.
All that he needed to do was to supervise the developnt of Vanguard Corporation, to decide what direction to head to.
Michael was not really sure about what the system had dumped into Dwayne’s mind, still, he decided to act according to his original plan.
"Okay, I have a plan that I would like it to be initiated as soon as possible. Just make sure that the plan is followed thoroughly, without any changes. I will have it sent to your email in a short while." Michael spoke after a mont of silence.
