Abel felt imnse relief when he realized that the one calling was his daughter. Still, he had so worries. If sothing had happened to Marion, and she had been kidnapped, the kidnappers could as well use Marion’s phone to call.
That was a low probability, considering that most of the tis, they used anonymous calls in order to inform those that needed to know about the kidnapping incidence.
Regardless, he watched as his wife went ahead and received the call, before she put the call on loud speaker.
"Hello, Marion, is that you?" Anna imdiately spoke the mont that she received the call.
"Yes, mom it’s ." Marion’s voice ca through the phone’s speaker.
Hearing her speaking, the two imdiately felt relieved. All the tension that had been building up within them was finally released.
From the way that Marion was speaking, it was clear that she was okay. Since that was the case, at least, they did not need to be too much worried for now.
"Tell , where are you, and how are you doing right now? Did anything happen?" Anna imdiately asked, impatient to understand the current situation that Marion was in.
On the other hand, Marion took a deep breath before she replied, "Mom, I was almost caught. The two of them were killed."
The mont that she said those words, silence descended within the living room of the villa. The two were trendously shocked, as neither of them had expected sothing like this.
They had initially thought, even if Marion was kidnapped, it would not lead to anyone’s death. At least, that was until the Wilson family had agreed to the collaboration with the Laito family.
Even though Marion had not said who exactly had died, the two of them imdiately knew. After all, she had left with her two bodyguards, the ones that they had assigned to protect her for several years now.
At this mont, the tension that had disappeared gathered once again. At this mont, the couple was extrely nervous, wanting to understand what happened.
"Sweetie, are you all right?" Anna asked with a cracked voice.
"Yes, I was lucky, I was saved by soone. Currently, I’m in his house, I will co back in a few days." Marion replied.
The two of them once again felt relieved. Even though they were sad with the death of the two bodyguards, considering that they were familiar with them, they felt relieved that Marion was not hard.

She was in a dilemma. She was not sure if she was supposed to reveal exactly how things had unfolded. After all, the abilities that Michael had shown back then were just too overwhelming.
Not to ntion anything else, there was a great possibility that both of her parents would not believe her at all. Even she herself would not have believed it if soone told her, and not seen it with her own eyes.
When she remained silent for quite a while, both Anna and Abel looked at each other, puzzled. Was there sothing that she was trying to hide?
At the sa ti, a possibility erged in their minds. Was it possible that, just like Cynthia, Marion had also gotten a boyfriend?
Was it possible that it was this boyfriend of hers that had helped her out? Was she afraid that if she revealed this fact, they would get angry at her?
"Marion, what is it? Just tell us directly, there is no need to hide anything." Abel tried to calm his emotions before he spoke.
"Ah?" For a mont, Marion was confused, not understanding what her parents were talking about. At the sa ti, she thought, was it possible that they had already guessed what had happened here?
If they really guessed the identity of the person who had helped her out, did that not imply that they already knew about Michael’s existence?
And if that was the case, then why did they not help him out when he lost both of his parents? Or could it be that they only ca to know about his existence recently?
Still, despite what she was thinking about, she quickly said, "I cannot clearly explain what happened, but he dealt with those guys that had been sent after .

Marion’s words left both of her parents confused. Anna could not help but ask, "Who is the one who helped you? Or, are you hiding a boyfriend? Believe , the incident involving your aunt will not repeat itself at all."
At this point, Anna had already thought that, if there was anyone that was capable of helping Marion out of the situation that she was in, it was clear that they were not simple.
Since that was the case, if she was willing to get married to that person, then it would not be much of a problem. At least, as long as that person was not like the Laito family, that would be great.
"Mom! What are you talking about?! What boyfriend?!" Marion was stunned and she could not help but exclaim from the shock of her mother’s words.
And after taking a deep breath, she spoke before her mother said anything, "By the way, the one who saved is actually related to aunt Cynthia."
The mont that she said those words, both Anna and Abel were completely shocked. They understood the implications of the words that Marion had said.
If this person had a relation with Cynthia, was it possible that he was Zachary, the one who had eloped with her? That was the only possibility that they could think of.
Even though Zachary did not get involved with the family business, that did not imply that he was weak. In terms of combat, he was incredible. He could even fight against professional fighters and win.
Additionally, if it was possible that he had already returned to the Santos family, with the use of the Santos family’s connections, it was not a problem to deal with a small group of gangsters.
Just thinking of this possibility made the two of them tremble. At the sa ti, Abel felt excited. After all, it had been such a long ti ever since he saw his younger sister.

It was only then that Marion realized that her father was together with her mother. All this while, it was Anna who was talking to her.
Despite the slight surprise, Marion braced herself as she decided to reveal everything.
"Dad, I would like to offer my condolences. I was just inford that Aunt passed away several years ago." Marion revealed.
When she said those words, there was an extended mont of silence. And, Marion could not see the expressions of her parents, but she could already guess just based on the silence.
Both of her parents knew Cynthia, at least they knew her much better than she did. And, Marion knew the fact that her father was so dotting towards Cynthia.
Occasionally, he would ntion her, claiming that it would be very good if she had been around. At least, they could be together, share good monts as family.
From this, she could already tell how much Abel loved his sister. This was sothing that she had seen even during the ti that she was still young.
For almost a minute, nobody spoke, as both Abel and Anna tried to process the information.
Not knowing where Cynthia was, was extrely different from knowing that she was dead. At least, not knowing her whereabouts presented a possibility of eting again.
But knowing that she died, and not recently, but several years ago, was there even any hope there? Only despair remained.
Finally, after a while, Abel managed to regain his bearing, before he asked in a low voice, "Tell , is the person who saved you Zachary? From what I know, he definitely has the ability to do that.
Is he close by? If he is, I would like you to give him the phone, so that I can talk to him directly. I want to understand sothing from him."
This ti, Abel’s inquiry was t with silence from Marion’s side.
