Previously, when Onyx did an investigation on NEXUS, it was clear that they usually had fatalities. This implied, they were always involved in dangers, and sotis, so mbers would end up being killed.

This indicated that the dangers that they faced were not simple at all. It was impossible for them to die just by facing normal people.

Maybe this was the reason why the governnt was not able to uproot the two syndicates within this nation, until now. Maybe they were worried that if they clashed, the mutants that belonged to the two syndicates could cause so death to the mutants that belonged to the governnt.

This was kind of ironic, considering that the two of them had a bad start. And more than that, they had not interacted that much either.
