"There is a group of children that I would like to have enrolled in school. Their information, I will send to you after you get yourself a phone and open an email.
As for the phone, let get you one." Michael stated.
At the sa ti, he quickly accessed the system store, intending to purchase a phone from there.
Every item that appeared within the system store was priced at at least $1,000 in the real world. This implied that currently, Michael was looking for a phone that was priced at $1,000.
Since the filters for the phone did not present many things, though there were more advanced options, Michael decided to go with what existed in the real world.
A Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, priced at 0.013 SP for the 256 GB model. It featured a 6.9‑inch QHD 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm) processor.
It also had a 12 GB of RAM with storage a of 1 TB, a quad‑rear‑cara setup including a 200 MP main sensor, 5x and 3x optical zoom telephoto lenses.
As for the battery, it had a 5,000 mAh battery. It also included 45 W wired charging, wireless charging, S Pen support, a titanium fra, and up to 7 years of software updates.
Michael quickly made the purchase, which cost him 0.013 SP. As for the extra decimal points on his SP balance, Michael simply converted it into cash.
And with that, his bank balance had a $98,700 incrent, bringing his current balance to over $500,000 again.
Currently, Adrian possess the knowledge that was expected of a person his age. So, it was not much of a problem for him to be able to handle the phone.
After the email was set up, Michael quickly sent the information on the kids to Adrian’s email.
He had requested for the information from John the previous day. The information itself included the age of each one of them, and the level of education that they had reached before being taken to the orphanage.
This way, it would be easy for them to be able to continue with their education. While they might have to start studying in a class with younger children, but if they wanted to study, they had to go through this.
After sending the information, Michael also gave Adrian so cash, telling him to go to the bank and open a bank account.
After the bank account was opened, Adrian was supposed to contact Michael, so that Michael could transfer so money to his account.
"Okay, give a while, I should be able to handle this." Adrian responded, before he left the apartnt.
Remaining behind, Michael simply concentrated on reading. At lunchti, he had no other choice but to head out of the apartnt, to find a small restaurant to dine.
He could have cooked for himself, but since he had not bought the groceries, it was impossible for him to cook.
During his al, Adrian made a call, claiming that he had completed opening the bank account. And with that, Michael transferred to him $200,000, bringing his balance down to $341K.
After he was done with his al, he went back to the apartnt, before he continued reading.
Looking at the progress bar that was still moving, Michael got even more motivated.
In the afternoon, Adrian ca back, claiming that he had already completed what he was assigned with.
Now, all that was required was for the children to report to school after the sumr vacation.
When Adrian ca back, he went to shop for several things, including the groceries, so of the equipnt that could be used at ho and so on.
Since Michael simply rented the apartnt and settled in, there were quite a few things that needed to be done.
Good thing, the apartnt was already furnished. Otherwise, it would be much of a hassle to furnish the house, before settling in.
After Adrian inford Michael that he had already completed searching for the school, and had even gotten the admission letters, Michael sent them to John.
And with that, he finally concentrated on reading, without much distractions.
....
A week flashed by since Michael and the others arrived in Brenton city.
They had already began getting used to the life here.
For those that had already reached 18 years old, they had decided not to continue with their education, but instead, they decided to find sothing to learn so that they could gain so skills.
Michael understood them, as he was the sa. After all, an 18-year-old him, joining high school at this point, it was a little too much to handle.
But of course, there were so skills that could be learned even if soone did not go through high school.
As for Michael, during this past week, he had been so much focused on reading, and had only t up with John and the others twice.
Once was to inform them about the business that he had purchased for them. In order to acquire the restaurant, Michael had to spend a whole $300,000.
As for the reason why it was this expensive, it was simply because Michael decided to purchase a business that was located in a good spot.
So, it was expected that the price would be high. And, after he inford John about this, he took them there for them to see the business.
John was impressed by the business, as he had not anticipated that Michael would acquire such a business, which was in a very good location.
And as long as a good amount of money was injected into the business, there was a possibility that the business would be able to grow even further.
But of course, John did not agree, and Michael had no other choice but to not carry out this plan.
According to John, he thought that it would be better for them to get used to working there first, before thinking about expanding.
Thinking that he was right, Michael simply told him that if he felt that they needed to expand, then he could inform him.
If it ca to expanding the restaurant, Michael could acquire so recipes from the system store.
In fact, not all the recipes in the store could be found in real life, though, so people had thoughts about different types of foods and so on.
For that reason, it was possible for him to be able to get a recipe that was unique to the restaurant.
It was just that, all the recipes within the system store were of high value. The cheapest one was of course valued at $1,000 (0.01 SP), and there were even more that were priced at over $10,000 (0.1 SP).
Those recipes would need protection, so, he thought, during the ti that he would be expanding the restaurant, he might as well acquire sothing that would enable him to have so influence.
This way, he could easily discourage so people from using malicious thods in order to acquire the recipes of the restaurant.
But until then, he was simply focused on reading, to advance the driving skill to the advanced level.
After more than a week of continuous reading, he had managed to push the progress bar up to 47%.
It seed that the driving skill would be able to advance faster as compared to the unard combat skill.
This was to be expected, considering that there was not much to know about, after soone knew how to drive.
The maneuvers that a person could make in different situations were things that did not really possess much information on them, making it easy for Michael to be able to read through them in a short while.
Of course, if it was required for Michael to practice by himself, it would have taken a long ti for him to be able to understand and master the skills themselves.
But thankfully, all that he needed to do was to read. He did not even need to understand, as the system would do the rest.
Due to the presence of Adrian, who was basically jobless, Michael was living a life that was mainly based on reading.
All that he did after waking up was to freshen up, read, take breakfast, read, take lunch, read, take supper, freshen up, read, then sleep.
It was a kind of monotonous schedule, as he repeated these things for an entire week, but Michael did not feel bored in the slightest.
All the house work was left to Adrian. He was the one that was in charge of laundry, preparing the als, cleaning the house and so on.
But at the sa ti, Michael had inford Adrian to start studying different types of skills, as they would be quite crucial in the future.
The first one was obviously business managent. So, during this week, just like Michael himself, Adrian had also been busy, trying to acquire different types of skills.
It was just that, the way that Adrian operated was completely different from Michael.
For Adrian, he seed to possess photographic mory, as he was able to go through different types of books on skills, and easily master the information.
Additionally, his speed was extrely high, as within just one week, his skill level was already comparable to that of very advanced professors.
In simple terms, there was nothing within the business managent section that he did not know about.
Of course, accompanying the business managent were the negotiation skills, ability to speak in different languages and so on, which Adrian had been focused on acquiring as well.
Despite all this, Michael did not really focus much on what Adrian was doing, as he was busy on his own.
He was currently thinking, was it possible for him to be able to get the information, without just reading?
