Old Hawk shifted the topic back.
"I’ve already had soone notify him, but we’ve yet to receive a response," Andrew checked the ti, "Supposedly, Bai Xiaosheng isn’t satisfied, but regardless of how dissatisfied, there should be feedback. Why hasn’t there been any response?"
"How about letting Soruns sound him out?" Andrew suggested tentatively.
In person, Andrew would still call Soruns ’uncle’, even though Soruns really isn’t that old.
However, privately, Andrew would only call him by na.
Old Hawk didn’t really care whether his son showed respect to Soruns in private, as long as it looked appropriate publicly.
At this mont, old Hawk nodded, agreeing with Andrew’s suggestion, and imdiately snuffed out his cigar, picked up his phone, and searched for Soruns’ number.

"Logan?" old Hawk glanced at the incoming call, intrigued.
Andrew naturally knew who Logan referred to; their family had distributed Kelson shares among seven families, one of which was the Logan family—a small family, incomparable to the Hawk family, an existence dependent on them.
"What’s going on, my friend?" old Hawk answered the call, speaking leisurely.
But soon, old Hawk sat up straight, his face stunned, as he raised his voice, "What did you say?!"
Andrew looked at his father in surprise.
Old Hawk’s face was full of deep astonishnt, disbelief, puzzlent, and gravity. His expression changed so rapidly that Andrew was sowhat startled.
To his father, Logan was ostensibly a friend, but really akin to a subordinate; what could have happened on Logan’s side to cause such a reaction?
Could it be related to the transferred Kelson shares?! Andrew instantly thought of this point.
This was the only matter recently involving the Logan family.
Yet, the shares they transferred to Logan were just over one-tenth of the total Kelson shares held by the Hawk family; what could go wrong?
Logan surely wouldn’t dare transfer them on his own.
Even if, hypothetically, Logan privately transferred them, it wouldn’t really impact them significantly.
Why was his father showing such a face?
Andrew was perplexed.
"I know!" old Hawk’s voice was deep on the other end.
Old Hawk’s expression was very somber and displeased.
"What is it, father?" Andrew hurriedly asked when old Hawk ended the call.
Old Hawk’s brow furrowed, his face unsightly, his gaze unusually grave, as if having heard a particularly shocking bad news.
Making eye contact with his father, Andrew felt inexplicably tense.
"Logan called, saying..." old Hawk’s eyes were filled with bewildernt, "Soruns personally contacted him, telling him to sell the Kelson shares he held to a company called Xuelian Wan He from the East!"
Andrew froze.

The opponent offering a high price was very in line with old Hawk’s pursuit of profit.

"Wait, an Eastern company!" Andrew seed to recall sothing, his face dramatically changing, yelling, "Could it be related to Bai Xiaosheng!"
This reminder also made old Hawk’s face drastically change.

In old Hawk’s view, if Soruns were to intervene in this matter, he should logically stand by his side.
