Bai Xiaosheng glanced at him, prompting Dong Tianxiu to quickly shut his mouth.
Bai Xiaosheng had previously told him not to speak out of turn, which he’d kept in mind, but couldn’t help blurting out in disappointnt.
By coincidence, the shopkeeper happened to snuff out the cigarette, and while trying to sip water, he overheard Dong Tianxiu’s words.
“What do you an, not real!?” The shopkeeper frowned, standing up with irritation, glaring at the two, “Are you here to buy or to disrupt Mr. Li’s business!”
“I’m sorry, that’s not what I ant.” Dong Tianxiu quickly apologized.
The apology ca a bit late, as Mr. Li approached angrily, “Can’t catch your eye? Sorry about that! Please, don’t waste my ti here!”
He was actually asking them to leave.
Dong Tianxiu felt displeased. They were warmly welcod earlier, but now they’re being kicked out for saying one wrong sentence?

Dong Tianxiu was about to signal Bai Xiaosheng to leave.
Bai Xiaosheng kept looking at the items on the ground, and amid Dong Tianxiu and Mr. Li’s argunt, his eyes suddenly shone, as if he found sothing.

“You want everything?” Mr. Li asked in surprise.
“Na your price,” Bai Xiaosheng replied calmly.
Such decisiveness made Mr. Li hesitate.
Dong Tianxiu felt excited, believing Bai Xiaosheng discovered a treasure.
“If you really want it… ten thousand, and you can take them all!” Mr. Li seed to decide firmly, as if making an enormous concession.
Have you gone mad, old man?
Dong Tianxiu almost asked.
“I’ll offer three thousand, if you agree, we’ll take them; if not, we’ll consider it over.” Bai Xiaosheng stood up, speaking indifferently.
Mr. Li shook his head, signaling disagreent.
“Let’s go.” Bai Xiaosheng promptly called Dong Tianxiu to leave.
Dong Tianxiu said nothing more, following Bai Xiaosheng out.
Just as they stepped out the door, a regretful voice followed them, “Alright, alright, I’ll sell them to you! Let’s consider it as today’s opening sales!”
Bai Xiaosheng turned with a smile, while Mr. Li seed visibly pained.
Dong Tianxiu, delighted, stepped up, “I’ll pay!”
Mobile paynt, convenient and fast, and just like that, the deal was sealed.
Dong Tianxiu started to cover the pile of items with a tarp to take them away.
“No need for that trouble, just take this.” Bai Xiaosheng pointed at a wooden board full of writing.
Dong Tianxiu was puzzled, and Mr. Li too stared at Bai Xiaosheng in surprise.
Three thousand, just for a dusty, long-neglected board?
“How much is this large piece of gloomy wood worth?” Bai Xiaosheng suddenly smiled.
Mr. Li looked as if he were struck by lightning, staring at the board with eyes wide in shock.
