“ifu!” Catherine scread, trying to stop him from speaking further.
“Catherine!” ifu shouted, “Officer, I confess, I will tell everything. Catherine and Landvo were the masterminds behind it all. They are the true bosses from behind the scenes, and I have evidence!”
The scene cut off here, freezing on ifu’s furious expression.
Catherine just felt a wave of dizziness, her body swayed, and she fell heavily into a seat.
Landvo looked at his wife in despair, slumped like a rag.
Their final struggle was just used by that old devil Yun Guangzhi. Yun Guangzhi is practically a demon, using the most untestable parts of human nature to crush opponents!
“It’s all beyond one’s control.” Bai Xiaosheng sighed instead of feeling excitent or joy.
For the first two days, Bai Xiaosheng didn’t receive any calls from Yun Guangzhi, nor hear any good news from Lei Ying, forcing him to co up with a final counterasure, starting with this angle…
Family bonds, human nature, sotis they are the most tragic, terrifying, and dreadful weapons.
And when faced with a life-and-death situation, people are always forced to make the most ruthless choices.
Yun Guangzhi did not have any victory excitent or joy, he simply lowered the receiver, glanced calmly at the Landvo couple, then handed the receiver back to the middle-aged director.
The room exploded into murmured discussions after a mont of silence.
“Landvo couple… this is irrefutable evidence!”
“With all this evidence, what else can they argue about?”
“Sigh, who would have thought, those business figures engaging in such disgraceful actions in secret!”
“They’re done for!”
Everyone lanted and expressed regret.
Landvo reached out to hold his wife’s hand; at this point, he beca rather calm.

Catherine blankly looked at her husband Landvo, seeing his unwavering gaze.
Catherine gazed intently at Landvo for two seconds, then suddenly embraced him.
Everyone assud it was the couple’s last mont of tenderness; even Landvo thought so, gently patting Catherine’s back to comfort her.
Unexpectedly, Catherine leaned over to Landvo’s ear and whispered three sentences.
“Take care of my mother and my sister!”
“Visit often in the future!”
“Don’t spare Bai Xiaosheng!”
Landvo was stunned, but Catherine pushed him away.
Catherine suddenly stood up and loudly proclaid to Yun Guangzhi about to step down from the podium and all the big figures above it, “I confess!”
This sudden shout made everyone freeze.
Even Yun Guangzhi looked at Catherine in surprise.
Facing the crowd’s attention, Catherine remained utterly calm and declared in a loud voice, “Everything was done by alone!”
“It was , leveraging my husband Landvo’s na and resources, working with my brother ifu to execute everything!”
“You can investigate; all the signatures and accounts are mine!”
“Those people you’ve caught never received direct orders from my husband.”
“ifu lied and implicated others to gain a lighter sentence, his words are not credible!”
At the last mont, the suprely clever Catherine chose the “dumbest” path, taking all the bla on herself!
Landvo’s eyes couldn’t help but widen, wanting to stand up, but a delicate hand firmly held him down.
Catherine gave him a determined look, silently mouthing, “Rember the three sentences I just told you!”
Landvo stared into Catherine’s eyes, gazing intently for a long ti, but ultimately, he did not stand.
Catherine’s unexpected words and actions sparked much discussion.
Yun Guangzhi squinted his eyes, completely disbelieving her nonsense.
Bai Xiaosheng, Wei Xuelian, and others were very surprised, not expecting Catherine to sacrifice herself for Landvo at the last mont!
Once those charges are confird, she will face a sentence of at least fifty years, almost without the possibility of parole.
Next, Catherine stepped forward to face the investigation, rembering everything clearly and confessing each detail honestly.

As Catherine was led away, she smiled at Yun Guangzhi, looked at Bai Xiaosheng with hate in her eyes, and finally gave one last glance to Landvo.
Surrounded by reporters, Landvo didn’t say a word, his gaze followed his wife, and when it landed on Bai Xiaosheng, it was filled with murderous intent.
It was all that bastard, collaborating with Yun Guangzhi, that caused their total downfall!
Landvo rembered Catherine’s words, to seek revenge on Bai Xiaosheng!
At this mont, communication restrictions were lifted, and Bai Xiaosheng took out his phone to send a ssage.
The recipient, Wen Yan.
The Landvo couple thought themselves extrely clever, even able to fool the headquarters’ monitoring departnt, but little did they know Wen Yan was not easily tricked. Wen Yan also played along and lulled the couple to expose their flaws, with Bai Xiaosheng cooperating. Of course, with Yun Guangzhi’s intervention, everything beca simpler…
Surrounded by reporters, Landvo faced a barrage of microphones and questions.
He shoved his way out roughly but felt his phone vibrate. He didn’t want to answer, but the caller’s number caught his attention.
Call from the headquarters’ monitoring departnt!
Landvo still didn’t answer, but when the call disconnected, a short ssage popped up.
The ssage contained two short sentences that he saw: “Mr. Landvo, evidence of your corruption has been received by the headquarters, initiating an investigation…”
Landvo felt nothing, pocketing his phone.
At the mont Landvo received the ssage, a crisp “prompt sound” erupted in Bai Xiaosheng’s mind – “Promotion task accomplished!”
